Limavady United FC have announced the deadline day signing of Fintan Doherty on Monday evening.
The 21-year-old goalkeeper is joining the club following a period of playing Gaelic football.
The Letterkenny native was previously part of the Derry City Academy before linking up with Institute FC.
Speaking about the signing of the Donegal man, Limavady United manager expressed that they’re delighted to have completed the deal.
“Limavady United are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Fintan Doherty. With the change in work and circumstances of Richard Purcell, the club had to act quickly an when Fintan became available he was a superb option.
