PARTICIPANTS of a Donegal employment scheme recently met with a Member of The European Parliament to discuss the benefits and practical support they received.
Following the delivery of a successful a four-week Job Club programme by Donegal Local Development Company (DLDC) Ltd in the Niall Mór Community and Enterprise Centre in Killybegs, participants from the programme had the opportunity to meet with Mairead McGuinness MEP.
The participants discussed the benefits and practical support they received over the four weeks under the guidance of their Job Club Leaders along with their plans and aspirations for getting back into employment or self-employment.
DLDC Ltd is offering a further Job Club programme in Lifford commencing today (Wednesday), April until Wednesday, April 16, with the 17th allocated for One-to-One support for job seekers who need tailored guidance.
The month of May will see the Job Club return to Dungloe following the positive response of the pilot programme held last year in the Ionad Teampall Chroine.
