MOTORISTS are being warned of potential traffic disruption in Letterkenny this week as the De Valera Road is set to close overnight, with one lane to be closed during the day.
The road, between the Oatfield Roundabout and the Hospital Roundabout, is one of the busiest roads in the town.
The road will be closed overnight from 7pm to 7am from today (Monday) until Friday, September 8.
Additionally, one lane will be closed during the day from tomorrow (Tuesday) October 5.
Two way traffic will be available during the day from 7am to 7pm.
The road is being closed to facilitate the completion of ‘essential road resurfacing works’.
A traffic management plan with diversions will be in place for the duration of the roadworks.
A spokesperson for Donegal County Council said,
“Donegal County Council wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused during these essential roadworks.”
