Disappointment for Termon against Derrylaughan

Derrylaughan 1-11 Termon 1-8

Termon’s senior men’s side fell at the first hurdle in the Ulster Intermediate Championship after they were beaten by Derrylaughan in Healy Park this evening.

Termon got off to a brilliant start and were 1-4 to no score ahead after ten minutes with Patrick Fegan registering the goal.

However, they failed to score again for the rest of the half, and Derrylaughan notched seven unanswered points to draw the sides level at the break.

John James Sweeney and Jack Alcorn kicked points after the restart for Termon.

However, they lost their way and Derrylaughan scored 1-4 without reply with the brilliant Tomas Carney finding the net.

Jamie Grant and Daire McDaid struck late points but Termon couldn’t find another goal and they were defeated.
