Devine extends lead on stage 12 as Edwards steps it up

Callum Devine and Noel O’Sullivan extended their lead in the Donegal International Rally over stage 12.

The pair saw their lead trimmed to eight seconds by Josh Moffett and Andy Hayes after the second running of Garrygort, but they pushed clear again over Knockalla this afternoon and now lead by 15 seconds.

Sam Moffett and Keith Moriarty are third more than 48 seconds behind Devine.

Matt Edwards and David Moynihan have had a great Saturday so far, and they were quickest over Knockalla but are still more than a minute and 12 seconds behind Devine.

Garry Jennings and Rory Kennedy are fifth and Meirion Evans and Jonathan Jackson are sixth with Robert Barrable/Gordon Noble (seventh), Ryan Loughran/Gareth Doherty (eighth) and Jonathan Greer and Niall Burns (ninth) all going well.

Desi Henry and Paddy Robinson have fallen to tenth, while Kevin Gallagher and Ryan Moore are 11th overall, and are leading the two-wheel drive category.

David Kelly is the big faller so far as he crashed out earlier today.

There are still two more stages to go today, with the drivers set to go over Carnhill and Garrygort for a third time.
