Devenney sees McGuinness imprints in Down victory

The imprint of Jim McGuinness was to be seen in how Down set up defensively to frustrate Donegal, according to an ex-team mate of McGuinness.

And Brendan Devenney believes that Down’s ability to suck in large numbers of Donegal players into their defence and then hit them on the counter attack, was crucial to their success which was classic McGuinness.
