Keadue Rovers 4 Gweedore Celtic 2
Keadue Rovers came from behind to defeat rivals Gweedore Celtic at Central Park on Sunday.
The visitors took the lead through Jamie Doherty’s free kick but an Aidan McHugh brace and an own goal saw Keadue hit three goals in ten minutes.
Aidan Brennan made it 4-1 in the second half before Tommy Diver got one back for Gweedore Celtic with 65 minutes gone, but Keaude held firm.
Keadue were on top early on but few chances fell as Colin McNicholas and Fiachra Coyle were first to every cross to clear.
But a corner from the hosts was hit in acrobatic fashion by McHugh and while it stayed in play, Martin Ferry crossed it back in to McHugh who headed towards goal but Michael McKelvey saved.
