Downings 2-17 St Michael’s 2-12

DOWNINGS came out on top in a feisty local derby with St Michael’s this afternoon.

It wasn’t a game for the faint-hearted but Downings were excellent in the first half and led by 2-9 to 0-7 at the break.

St Michael’s scored two goals late on but it was a frustrating outing for them as Maxi Curran’s Downings claimed their first league win of the season.
