Delight as cat is rescued after four days

AFTER four days up a tree in Letterkenny a cat has been safely returned to its owners following a rescue mission this morning.

Following an appeal from Animals in Donegal Aid Sanctuary Gortlee Tool Hire provided a cherry picker free of charge while Mario from MP Tree Surgeon also came to the rescue.

After trying numerous tactics to get the cat, named Cheetara, down from the tree their hard work paid off this afternoon.
