Naomh Conaill eventually got going with Ciaran Thompson hitting two points but they were 0-5 to 0-3 down at the break.

The Donegal champions hit the front at the start of the second half when John O’Malley scored a penalty.

Glen came back and got in front in a tit-for-tat second half but AJ Gallagher’s point looked to have sent the game to extra-time.

However, the Derry side were able to fashion one more chance and Emmet Bradley’s long-range score sent his team through to the provincial final.
