Errigal Ciaran 0-12 St Eunan’s 0-10
St Eunan’s were left deeply frustrated in Omagh tonight after they were eliminated from the Ulster Senior Club Championship following Errigal Ciaran’s late flurry.
Errigal Ciaran were 0-3 to 0-2 ahead when Shaun Patton made a stunning penalty save from Peter Harte.
Ruairi Canavan kicked the resulting ’45’ but St Eunan’s hit the final three points of the first half with Shane O’Donnell (2) and James Kelly on the mark.
HT: Errigal Ciaran 0-4 St Eunan’s 0-5
Errigal nudged ahead again at the start of the second half before Conor O’Donnell Jnr and Niall O’Donnell kicked scores for the Letterkenny side.
It was tit-for-tat after that and Conor O’Donnell Jnr pushed St Eunan’s back in front with a ’45’ in the 59th minute.
However, Errigal didn’t cave in and two Ben McDonnell scores as well as a Tommy Canavan point won it for them at the death.
