ONE of Letterkenny’s longest established businesses, R McCullagh Jewellers and Giftware, has moved to allay fears that they are to close.
A mix up surfaced last week when it was announced that another nearby jewellery store, CT Ball and Son, run by Lance and Judy Ball are retiring and their shop is closing.
In a bid to clear the air, Gareth from R McCullagh has confirmed that they are most definitely remaining open for business.
R Mc Cullagh has been in operation since 1869 when Robert McCullagh first opened the doors.
It has been run successfully for many years by five generations of the same family and presently run by Julian and Gareth.
“We would take this opportunity to wish Lance and Judy all the best in their well deserved retirement and wish them well into the future.”
