Our senior footballers made a brilliant start to their league campaign last week with a hard-fought victory over Kerry.

It was a new-look Donegal side with a lot of young lads thrown into the mix, but they did brilliantly.

It was interesting that of the 17 players that were used, 16 different clubs were represented which is remarkable.
