DECLAN BONNER: Naomh Conaill will be fresh after break

Donegal clubs have shown over the last five years that we can mix it with the best in Ulster, and Naomh Conaill will be thinking they can go on a good run when they begin their provincial championship journey in Belfast this Sunday against Cargin.

This competition is nothing new to Naomh Conaill and they are very comfortable in the company of the province’s elite.

It’s a pity they haven’t been given a home draw and it won’t be easy to go to Corrigan Park.

Donegal teams have found that to be a tricky venue in the past.

However, Naomh Conaill are seasoned and they will be on a high after winning the Donegal Championship.
