Decision on Creeslough development delayed

A MUCH-ANTICIPATED decision on whether to grant planning permission for rebuilding a commercial premises on the site of the devastating Creeslough explosion which was due today has been delayed.

Dozens of objections to the proposed development have been lodged with Donegal County Council.

This is how the new development on the site of the Creeslough explosion would look, according to an artist’s impression submitted to Donegal County Council.

It is understood the council has written to the planning permission applicant, Vivo/Shell Limited, requesting additional information.

The council will then decide whether the highly controversial project can proceed.
