John Mc Geary, Armagh, Cavan, Donegal and Monaghan

The death has occurred of John Mc Geary, Armagh, Cavan, Donegal and Monaghan.

Mr Mc Geary passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 15.

He is the beloved husband of Mary, father to John, Siobhan, Kevin, Macarten, Nuala and Sara, brother to Patsy (Dundalk), Mary Rooney (Coventry), Leo and Briege Mc Quaid (Dungannon) and the late Tommy and Kathleen Morrison.

May they rest in peace.

Mr Mc Geary’s remains will repose at his late home from today, Wednesday and Thursday from 2pm until 9pm.

Removal on Friday at 10.15am to St Peters Church, Collegelands for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on him.

Very deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his many friends in the sporting circle and the entire family circle.

Gabriel Mc Carron, Killygordon and formerly Fermanagh

The death has occurred of Gabriel Mc Carron, Dromore Park, Killygordon and formerly Kinawley, Fermanagh.

Mr Mc Carron passed away on Saturday, October 12.

Predeceased by his brother Gerard and sister Anne.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his father Bernard, mother Mary Ellen, wife Jacinta, sons Kyle and Ben, daughter Lucia, brothers, Jude, and Aidan, sister Nuala, mother in law Vera, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at his late residence today, Wednesday, October 16, from 7pm to 10 pm.

Funeral leaving from there on Thursday, October 17 at 10.30 am for Requiem Mass in St.Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon, at 11 am with Private cremation later in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Mary Mansfield, Dublin and Falcarragh

The death has occurred of Mary Mansfield (née Doogan), Palmerstown Dublin and Ballyness, Falcarragh.

Ms Mansfield passed away peacefully in the Hermitage Clinic on Tuesday, October 15.

Beloved wife of the late Bernard (Ben) and dear mother of Michael, Marie, Eilish, Áine and Ben Junior.

Devoted grandmother to Conor (Lindsey), Keane (Elizabeth), Gavin, Darcy, Eoin, Neil, Harry, Zach, Emily, Mariamna and Killian.

Great-grandmother to Cecily and Amelia.

Predeceased by her siblings Annie, Una, Joe and Manus.

Ms Mansfield will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Corla, sons-in-law Shane, Eugene and Robert, brothers Séamus and Neil, sister and best friend Sheila, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and wonderful neighbours.

Reposing at her home on Thursday evening, October 17, from 3pm to 8pm (house private outside these hours please).

Removal on Friday morning, October 18, to St. Philomena’s Church, Palmerstown arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.30am, followed by burial in Palmerstown Cemetery.

Daniel Mackay, Letterkenny and Australia

The death has occurred of Daniel Mackay, Loughnagin, Letterkenny and formerly Australia.

Mr Mackay passed away in Beaumount Hospital, Dublin on Thursday, October 10.

Devoted husband of Ann-Marie Boyle Mackay, loving father to Otis and Sadhbh, sadly missed by his family and friends in Australia and Ireland.

Reposing at his late residence from 4 pm to 7 pm today, Wednesday, October 16, where you are most welcome to attend, also reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny, (F92 XE35) on Thursday, October 17, from 4 pm to 6 pm., where you are also invited to attend a celebration of Daniel’s life which can be viewed on the link: https://shorturl.at/40Uca followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Joan Considine, Dublin and Malin Head

The death has occurred of Joan Considine (née McGinty), Dublin and formerly Malin Head.

Ms Considine passed away unexpectedly in St Vincent’s Private Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 11.

Pre-deceased by her husband Con, parents Joseph and Jane and brother Raymond. Joan will be deeply missed by her loving daughter Rachel, her cherished granddaughter Ella, sisters Margaret (Refoy), Carmel (Newton), Anne (Druhan), brothers John, Michael (Ted), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

Removal on Saturday morning, October 19 to the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin arriving at 9.50am for a 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Mount Venus Cemetery.

Susan Whoriskey, Gortahork

The death has occurred of Susan Whoriskey (née Bonner), Baltoney, Gortahork.

Ms Whoriskey passed away peacefully in Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 14.

Predeceased by her daughter Maryann, her parents Grace and Dominic, her brothers Hudie, Dónal and Paddy.

Survived by her husband Neilly, daughter Kathleen and husband Seamus, sons Dominic and his wife Sharon, Donald and his wife Portia and Micheal and his partner Anne, her son-in-law Stephen, grandchildren David, Matthew, Adam, Stephaine and Niamh, brothers Dominic and Joe, in laws, nieces, nephew and a wide circle of family and friends.

Wake will commence today, Tuesday, October 15 at 12noon with Rosary both nights at 8pm.

House private after the Rosary until 12 noon and on the morning of the Funeral.

Funeral from there on Thursday, October 17 for 11am Requiem Mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork F92 DP86 with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery.

Michael Kelly, Westmeath and Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Michael Kelly, Ballindurrow, Multyfarnham, Westmeath and formerly Letterkenny.

Mr Kelly passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, October 14.

Predeceased by his brothers Frank, John and Liam and his sister Betty.

Mr Kelly will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Sheila, sons Ciarán and Seán, daughters-in-law Audrey and Maeve, grandsons Luke and Joseph, brother Phonsie and his wife Margaret, sister Mary Kate, extended family and friends.

Michael’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated today, Wednesday, October 16, at 12 noon in St Nicholas’ Church, Multyfarnham followed by burial in the adjoining St Andrew’s Cemetery.

Martin Gallagher, Bundoran, Leitrim and Sligo

The death has occurred of Martin Gallagher, Bundoran and formerly of Kinlough, Leitrim and Carrowreagh Cooper, Tubbercurry, Sligo.

Mr Gallagher passed away suddenly on Friday, October 11.

He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving family, his adoring parents Hubert and Nancy, his heartbroken siblings Mary (Turner), Wexford Town, Ann (Denny), Wexford Town, Gabrielle, (Corofin, Co. Galway), John (Dromahair, Co. Leitrim), Kevin (Ransboro, Sligo) and Paschal, (Carraroe, Sligo), his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and all his many relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the residence of his brother Kevin, Ransboro, Sligo (Eircode F91Y227) today, Tuesday, October 15 from 4pm to 8pm, all welcome.

Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday, October 16 at 11am in St. Patrick’s Church, Moylough, Tubbercurry, Sligo (eircode F91XW22), with removal afterwards to arrive at St. Aidan’s Cemetery, Kinlough, Leitrim (via Bundoran) for Burial Service at approximately 2.15pm.

Alice Doogan, Kincasslagh

The death has occurred of Alice Doogan, Gortnasade, Kincasslagh.

Ms Doogan passed away peacefully in Hillcrest House in Letterkenny on Sunday, October 12.

Funeral Mass today, Wednesday, October 16 at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Kincasslagh with interment in Belcruit Cemetery.

Joe McGroarty, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Joe Mc Groarty, 3 Croagh Patrick Avenue, Letterkenny.

Mr Mc Groarty passed away in Letterkenny University Hospital on Sunday, October 13.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, sons Jonnie (Martina), Mickie (Linda), Gerry (Michelle), Marty and daughters Caroline (Noel), Tina (Jonny) and Mariosa (Sean), 15 Grandchildren, brother Seamus, sisters Mausheen, Mina and Peggy.

Pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Mary, brothers Michael and Noel and sisters Eileen, Kathleen and Rosie.

Funeral Mass today, Wednesday, October 16 at 11am in St. Eunans Cathedral, Letterkenny with burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.
