THE death has occurred of Mary Sweeney (née McGroarty), Cooladerry, Ballylar, Fanad.
Ms Sweeney passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 17.
Predeceased by her parents Johnny and Sally and by her brother Jim and sister Rose.
Deeply regretted by her husband Patrick, daughter Rose and son John.
Sadly missed by her sister Resa Sweeney, her nephews and nieces, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.
Mary’s remains will repose at her late residence from 10am today, Wednesday, September 18.
Rosary at 9pm.
Removal from there to St. Mary’s Church, Fanavolty, Fanad at 11.30 am on Thursday, September 19, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon.
Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

THE death has occurred of Rosemarie Burke, 36 Abbey Park, Manorcunningham.
Ms Burke passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday, September 16.
Deeply missed by her loving partner Kevin, daughters Amylee and Rachel, her father Anthony, brothers David and Noel and sister Katie, Kathleen, D.J, Mark and Stephen, uncles, aunts, cousins and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
Rosemarie is predeceased by her mother Bridget.
Rosemarie’s remains are reposing at her late residence today, Wednesday, September 18 from 12 noon until 10pm.
Funeral from there on Thursday, September 19 at 10.15am going to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham for 11am Requiem Mass with interment afterwards in St. Columba’s Church Cemetery, Drumoghill.

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday, September 17 of Kathleen Higdon née McDaid, 8 Binnion Avenue, Letterkenny F92 CPX3.
Deeply missed by her loving daughters Eileen McCormack (Paul) and Shirley Duddy (Mick), son Mark (Trish), grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Margaret Matthewson, Annie O’Brien and Angela Dorrian, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.
Kathleen is predeceased by her husband Howard, parents Neil and Eileen McDaid, sister Bridie Gibson and brothers John and Neil.

Ivan Tucker, Carrick
The death has occurred of Ivan Tucker, St Columba’s Close, Carrick and formerly Corbally, Limerick.
Mr Tucker passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 15.
Our hearts go out to his wife Rachel Ward Tucker, their daughters Edith and Clare, and to his parents Gerry and Louise, as well as his brothers David, Niall and their wives Fiona and Aneela.
Ivan will be missed by his nieces Ina, Seren, Sophie, Bethan, Róisín, Claragh and his nephew Eoin, along with his extended family, friends and neighbours.
Our sympathies also extend to Rachel’s mother Libby, (wife and mother to the late Donal and Edith Ward) and her brother Michael and his wife Ornagh.
We also wish to acknowledge the great support of Rachel’s cousin Deirdre Hardiman, who has been a tremendous help to the family.
May Ivan’s gentle soul rest in peace.
He was immensely proud of their daughters, Edith and Clare and their achievements brought him great joy.
Ivan, in turn, gave great joy to all who knew him. May his family find strength and comfort in each other and those around them during this difficult time.
His absence will be deeply felt by all.
