The death has occurred, peacefully at Knockmoyle Care Home, Omagh, on Monday, July 28 of Betty Nelis, née Corrigan, formerly of Hillhead, Castlefin and 24 Tullymoan Road, Clady.

Beloved wife of the late Neilly, much loved mother of Neilly, Vanessa (Kieran), Rónán and Neola, loving nana of Amy, Jake, Oisín, Aoibhinn, Diarmaid, Mark and Laoise and great-nana of Hannah, Odhran, Fionn and Fianna, dearest sister of Paddy and the late Desmond and Brendan.

Reposing at 24 Tullymoan Road, Clady today, Wednesday, July 30 from 12 noon until 10p.m.

Funeral from there on Thursday morning, July 31 at 11.20 am for requiem Mass at 12 noon in St. Columba’s Church, Doneyloop.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Family time please from 10 pm and on the morning of the funeral.

Very deeply regretted and sadly missed by her entire family circle.

Kenneth McIlwaine, Milford

The peaceful death has taken place at his home of Kenneth McIlwaine, Gortmacall, Milford, F92 Y671.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Maybeth, daughters Carol (Ross) and Sara (Shane), sons Robert (Jackie) and Tom (Jayne), grandchildren, great-children, sister Caroline Campbell (Australia) and Betty Hay (Creeslough), niece, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his sister Gladys Stanley.

Remains reposing at his home.

Funeral service on Thursday afternoon, July 31 at 2pm in Milford Presbyterian Church.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time from 10pm until 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

Joseph (Joe) Davies, Derry, Buncrana and Louth

The death has occurred of Joseph (Joe) Davies, Limavady Road, Derry and formerly of Drogheda, Co Louth.

Mr Davies, who was a solicitor in Buncrana, passed away peacefully at the Foyle Hospice on Monday, July 28.

Beloved son of the late John and Rosin, loving brother of Seamus, Karl and John, brother-in-law of Patti, Bernadette and Edel and much loved
uncle of Eleanor, John-Paul, Brian, James, Katie, Lauren, Isabella and cousin Bobby.

Sadly missed by relatives, dear friends and work colleagues.

Reposing at W J O’Brien & Son’s Funeral Home, 110 Clooney Road, Eglinton, BT47 3PU, on Thursday and Friday from 5pm to 7pm.

Funeral service will take place there on Saturday at 1 pm.

A private cremation will take place later.

No flowers please.

Donations can be made in Joe’s memory to a cancer charity of your choice.

Michael Robert Gamble, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Michael Robert Gamble, 37 Meadowbank Park, Letterkenny.

Mr Gamble passed away at his home on Sunday, July 27.

Michael is much loved and will be greatly missed by his sisters Caroline and Audrey, brothers-in-law Maurice and Norman.

Beloved uncle of Adam, Kirsty, Lauren, Edwina, Bethany, Hannah, Heidi, Nathaniel, Christopher, Matthew, Vivienne and Jordan, great uncle of Charlotte, Noah, Poppy, Harry, and Robbie-Jay.

His remains will repose at his late residence.

Funeral service at his home on Thursday, July 31 at 11am followed by burial in Gortlee graveyard.

The wake is private to family and close friends only please and strictly for family only on the morning of the funeral and at the committal.

Family flowers only donations in lieu to the ICU unit Letterkenny University Hospital care of any family member or Terence McClintock Funeral Director.

Jimmy McGinley, Glasgow and Gweedore

The death has occurred of Jimmy McGinley, Glasgow and formerly Gweedore.

Mr McGinley passed away peacefully at his home in Glasgow surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 27.

Beloved husband of the late Mary, loving Dad of Gerard, Patricia, Mary, James, Pauline, Sean, Michael, Con, Martin and the late Mags, father in-law to Tricia, Joe, John, Denise, Kitty, Louise and Brenda, granda of Maria, Joseph, Conor, Ciara, Aislinn, Aiden, Niall, Erin, Eoin, Mary-Kate, Monica, James, Eilish, Caitlin, Michael, Kian, Alannah, Orla, Niamh and Enya, great granda to Callah and Aiden and brother to Patsy.

His remains will repose at Roarty’s Funeral Home Derrybeg (F92 DN4X) on Thursday, July 31 from 3pm to 8pm, with rosary at 8pm.

Private removal following the rosary to his home in Glassagh.

Funeral Mass will be held in St Colmcille’s Church, Knockfola, on Saturday, at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Ann Kirwan, Ballyshannon and Buncrana

The death has occurred of Ann Kirwan (née McCullough), Abbeylands, Ballyshannon and formerly Buncrana.

Ms Kirwan passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Sligo University Hospital on Monday, July 28.

Sadly missed by her son’s David, Stephen, Paul, and Noel, her daughter-in-law Amanda and her granddaughter Isla, her brother Thomas and sister Mary McCullough.

Predeceased by parents Thomas and Lily McCullough.

Reposing at John McGee & Sons Funeral Home, Belleek Rd, Ballyshannon, F94ED21 on Wednesday, July 30 from 4pm to 8pm.

Removal on Thursday morning from her late residence to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon for 11am funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the Abbey Cemetery.

Andy Gillespie, Ballybofey

The death has occurred of Andy Gillespie, Dreenan, Ballybofey.

Mr Gillespie passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday, July 21.

Beloved husband of Ellen, much loved father to Sharon, Jennifer, Martin and Drew, cherished brother of May, Johnny, Annie, Harry, Sheila, Anthony, Angela, and the late Liam, Eddie and Brendan.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughters, sisters, brothers, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.

Remains reposing at Mc Cool’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 30 from 6pm concluding with rosary at 9pm.

Funeral leaving from there on Thursday, July 31 at 10.30 am for requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Sessiaghoneill at 11am.

Interment in the adjoining churchyard.

The death has occurred of Margaret McBride (née McLaughlin), Main Street, Milford (F92 K5N4), in her 97th year, peacefully at home.

She was predeceased by her husband, James, and her parents, Margaret and Daniel.

Margaret will be sadly missed by her loving family, Patrick, Danny, Brendan, Margaret, Michael, Anita and John, sister, Celia (Kerr), daughters-in-law, Patrice, Jane, Mairéad, Louise and Paula, sons-in-law, Con and John, her 21 cherished grandchildren, sister-in-law, Ann, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 30 at 11am in St Peter’s Church, Milford.

Burial afterwards in Milford Cemetery.

Hugh Doherty, Buncrana

The death has occurred of Hugh Doherty (Widow), Gransha, Buncrana.

Hugh is predeceased by his parents, Willie and Mary, and his sisters, Anita and Eileen.

He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his loving wife, Kathleen, and his family, Rosemary (Hughie), Margaret (Patsy), Bridgeen (Mickey), Sadie (Kevin), his sisters in law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and the wider family circle.

Funeral from his home on Wednesday at 10am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for Requiem Mass at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Cockhill with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time 10pm to 12noon.

Bernard (Brian) Carr, Kilcar

The death has occurred of Bernard (Brian) Carr, Cruckcarra, Kilcar.

Mr Carr passed away suddenly but peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Sunday, July 27.

Predeceased by his parents John and Mary, brothers Seán, Francis and sister Kathleen.

Sadly missed by his sisters Mary Agnes, Bernadette and Goretti.

Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, his neighbours and friends.

Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, July 30 at 12pm in St. Cartha’s Church, Kilcar (F94KA07), followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan.
