Patrick (Pat) McGovern, Bundoran

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) McGovern, Finnerville, Bundoran and formerly Glangevlin, Cavan.

Mr McGovern passed away peacefully at North West Hospice, Sligo surrounded by his loving family on Monday, February 17.

Predeceased by his beloved son Paul, his parents Ann and Pat, Sister Mary (New York).

Pat is a much loved husband to Ann, adored father to Patrick (Gillian), Kelly (Paul) and Philip (Gary), much loved grandfather to Rachael, Molly, Theresa, Elli, Emily and RJ.

Pat will be sadly missed by his sister Nora, brothers Jack, Phil, Benny, Joe and all his extended family, friends and neighbours.

Removal on Wednesday,  February 19 to The Church of Our Lady Star of The Sea, Bundoran for 11am funeral Mass followed by burial afterward in St. Mary’s Church Cemetery, Cashelard.

Brian Connolly, Offaly and Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Brian Connolly, Ballicknahee, Clara, Offaly and formerly Letterkenny.

Mr Connolly passed away peacefully in Tullamore Hospital surrounded by his loving family, friends and co-workers on Monday, February 17.

Predeceased by his parents Eileen and Brendan.

Brian will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Martina, brother Noel, partner Jenny, children Lauren, Jordan (Adam), Brandon, Katie and Emma (Dylan), Lauren and Brandon’s mother Lisa, nieces Nicole and Sam, relatives, friends, staff at the Tullamore Hospital and Tom and Gerry’s Bar.

Reposing at O’Reilly’s Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore (R35 FC84).

Funeral Mass for Brian will take place on Thursday morning at 11am in St. Brigid’s Church, Clara, followed by burial after Mass in the Monastery Cemetery, Clara.

Joseph (Josie victor) Boyle, Portnoo

The death has occurred of Joseph (Josie victor) Boyle, Kilclooney Beg, Portnoo.

Mr Boyle passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday, February 17.

Predeceased by his wife Isobel (Bella) and son Patrick Joseph.

Deeply regretted by his daughter’s Rosaleen and Catherine Grace,and grandchildren.

Remains reposing at his late residence at Kilclooney Beg ,Portnoo.

Funeral mass on Thursday morning at 11am in St. Conal’s Church, kilclooney with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time from 10pm until 11am.

 Lucy McCafferty, Stranorlar

The death has occurred of Lucy McCafferty, 46 Admiran Park, Stranorlar and formerly of Main Street, Stranorlar.

Ms McCafferty passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at the Donegal Hospice on Saturday, February 15.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her loving partner Sam Armstrong, her daughter Amanda (Mark), her son Kevin (Megan), cherished sister of Judy, Margaret (Philip), Patrick, Karl, Nora (Sam), Liz (Eamon), nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Sheila and her brothers Dermot and John.

Funeral leaving her late residence on Wednesday, February 19 at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11am.

Interment in Stranorlar cemetery.

Maureen Quinn (née Connolly), Raphoe

The death has occurred in Archview Lodge, Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family of Maureen Quinn née Connolly, Townparks, Raphoe, Co Donegal, F93 HD96.

Lovingly missed by her daughters and sons Assumpta (Liam), Anne (John), Thomas (Mary), sister Marjorie, Terence (Tina), Bríd (Gavin), Donna (Patrick), Martin (Marilda), her grandchildren Christopher, Thomas, Emer, Aíne, Shauna, Fearghal, Megan, Melissa, Michael, Rachael, Pádraig, and Jordan, Adam and their mum Jill and great- grandchildren, Lauren, Hannah and Teidí, her brother and sister Tony and Alacque, her nieces and nephews and all her extended family and friends.

Maureen was predeceased by her parents Anton and Mary Bridget, husband Tommy, brother and sister Barry and Marjorie, granddaughter Bridget Marian, may they all rest in peace.

Funeral cortege will be leaving her late residence on Wednesday morning at 11.20am going to St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe for 12 o’clock Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Nigel Lloyd, Dunkineely and Leicester

The death has occurred of Nigel Lloyd, Casheltown, Dunkineely and formerly Oadby, Leicester.

Mr Lloyd passed away peacefully at the North West Hospice, Sligo on Friday, February 14.

Nigel will be sadly missed by his broken hearted partner Kim Pereira, parents Angela and Roy Lloyd, sister Lindsay, brother John, extended family, neighbours and his many friends in Ireland and UK.

He is reposing at his late residence on Thursday, February 20 from 12pm to 8pm.

Funeral service in Solace Cancer Support Centre, St Joseph’s Avenue, Donegal Town on Friday, February 21 at 11am followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 3pm.
