Dylan McNamee, Drumkeen

The sudden death has taken place of Dylan McNamee, 22 St Bridget’s Crescent, Drumkeen.

Dylan’s remains will repose at his home in Drumkeen on Thursday, January 29 from 12 Noon until 10pm, with Rosary at 9pm.

Requiem mass will take place in St Patrick’s Church, Drumkeen at 11am on Friday, January 30, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary Ferry (née McGinley), Falcarragh

The death has taken place of Mary Ferry (née McGinley) of Derryreel, Falcarragh.

Much loved and sadly missed by her children Manus, Jim, Neil, Maggie, Katie, Noel, Mary, Bríd and Grace, her loving grandchildren and great grand children, daughters in law and son in law, her brother Noel and sister Catherine, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her loving husband Neil, brothers Paddy and Hughie, sisters Gracie and Maggie.

Her remains will be reposing at her late residence on Thursday, January 29 from 1pm to 10pm and on Friday, January 30 from 11am to 10pm.

Family time on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral Mass in Holy Cross Church, Dunfanaghy on Saturday, January 31 at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Doe Cemetery, Creeslough, F92E5N2.

Bridie Doherty (née O’Donnell), Malin Head

The death has occurred of Bridie Doherty (Jimmy Roe) (née O’Donnell), Killourt, Malin Head F93 N8W2.

Predeceased by her son Liam. Beloved wife of Willie and much loved mother of Marie (Adrian) and Patrick (Jennifer) and cherished granny of Ciaran, Aoife, Corey, Shay, Maisey, Jay, Liam, Owen and Brendan.

Predeceased by sisters and brothers and sadly missed by her brothers John and Tony, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Bridie’s remains will leave Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral home, Station Road, Carndonagh, F93 E4FN today at 1pm going to her home.

Funeral from there on Friday, January 30 at 11.30am for 12pm Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Malin Head followed by burial in Lagg cemetery.

Brigid Gallagher, Letterkenny

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Brigid Gallagher of The Coach House, Mount Southwell Place, Letterkenny and formerly of Sheercloon, Ballindrait.

Beloved daughter of the late Ellen and Patrick Gallagher and much loved sister of Gracie (Tourish) and the late Patrick, Seamus, Vincent, Christina and Raymond.

Reposing at Quigley`s Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 28 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Funeral leaving the funeral home on Thursday, January 29 at 6pm to St Patrick`s Church, Murlog, Lifford to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass on Friday, January 30 at 1pm.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sister, nieces, nephews, special friends and family circle.

Lawrence O’Toole, Killybegs

The death has taken place of Lawrence O’Toole of Finglas and Killybegs, in the loving care of his family and the Palliative Care Team of the Mater Hospital. Lawrence, beloved son of the late Mary and Francis, loving brother of Brendan, Elizabeth, Mary, Rita and Bridget.

He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his brother and sisters, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the Fanagan Funeral Home, Church Street, Finglas on Monday, February 2 from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Tuesday morning, February 3 to St Canice’s Church, Finglas arriving for 11am Requiem Mass followed by Cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium.

The family wish to sincerely thank the Carers especially Mary and Thomas from Finglas Home Care who were so kind and caring to Lawrence in recent years.

Joe McGee, Newtowncunningham

The death has taken place at his home on Tuesday, January 27 of Joe McGee, Ruskey, Newtowncunningham F93 WR1W.

Deeply missed by his loving wife Margaret, daughter Mary (Gary), sons Nigel (Ashling), Patrick (Louise) and Seamus (Caroline), grandchildren Conor, Gavin, Niamh, Mark, Rachel, Rónán, Reuben, Dean and Shane and great-grandchild Raya, brothers Cathal, James and Shaun, sister Gabrielle, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Joe is predeceased by his parents Neil and Margaret and his brother Eamonn.

Joe’s remains are reposing at his late residence today and tomorrow, Thursday, January 29 from 12 noon until 10pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Funeral from there on Friday, January 30 at 10.30am going to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham for 11am requiem Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/newtowncunningham.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mairead Lafferty, Dunfanaghy

The death has occurred of Mairead Lafferty, Rockhill, Portnablagh, Dunfanaghy.

Ms Lafferty passed away in Ard Gréine Court, Stranorlar on Tuesday, January 27.

Much loved and sadly missed by her sister Grainne and her brother in law James, nephews Kevin and Dermot (Liz) and extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her parents John and Sarah, brothers John and William and nephew Declan.

Her remains will be reposing at her sister Grainne’s residence at Rockhill, Dunfanaghy from 6pm to 10pm today and tomorrow, Thursday, January 29 from 12 noon to 10pm, for family and neighbours only please.

Funeral Mass in Holy Cross Church, Dunfanaghy on Friday, January 30 at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in Doe Cemetery, Creeslough.

Norman Pinkerton, Raphoe

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Norman Pinkerton, Gort Glebe, Raphoe (F93A3C1).

Predeceased by his parents Harry and Becky, and brother William.

He will be loved and remembered always by his sister Rebecca, son Kieran, daughters Sharon and Nadine, his grandchildren and his great-granddaughter.

He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins, the wider family circle, neighbours and friends, especially Ryan, Shauna and family.

His remains will repose at his family home from 10am this morning.

Funeral prayers at his home on Thursday, January 29 at 2pm followed by burial in The Cathedral Church graveyard.

Mary Kate Browne, Glenties

The death has occurred of Mary Kate Browne of Edeninfagh, Glenties.

Mary Kate passed away in Letterkenny University Hospital.

Sadly missed by her husband Peadar, her daughter Margaret, son in law Damien, grandchildren, niece and nephews.

Predeceased by her siblings Eddie, Susan, Charlie and Mickey and her sister in law Stasia.

Reposing at her home in Edeninfagh (F94 W5T8) from 2pm to 8pm today.

Funeral Mass will take place at the Church of the Holy Family, Edeninfagh at 11am on Thursday, January 29 with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Patrick Molloy, Galway and Donegal

The death has occurred of Patrick Molloy, Knocknacarra Road, Salthill, Galway and formerly of Connemara and Clifden, Galway and Mountcharles and Buncrana, Donegal.

Mr Molloy, who was a retired guard, passed away unexpectedly at Galway University Hospital on Sunday, January 25.

Beloved husband of Celine and much-loved father of Enda, Dermot and Olivia, father-in-law of Lizzie and Siobhain and brother of Mary O’Toole (Boston).

He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all his family including his beloved grandchildren and by the extended Molloy and Gallagher family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his brothers Raymond, Johnny, Hughie and Michael.

Wednesday, January 28

Pat will lie in repose at the O’ Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) from 5 pm to 6.30 pm.

Thursday, January 29

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Pat at 11 a.m. at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.

Kieran McGroary, Laghey

The death has occurred of Kieran McGroary, Laghey Barr, Laghey.

Mr McGroary passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 26.

Predeceased by his father Liam.

Remains will be reposing in Tirconaill Funeral Home Donegal Town F94FX3A today from 2pm until 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Friday, January 30 at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery in St Brigid’s Church Ballintra.

Maire Chichibnoud (nee Dilworth), Ballyshannon

Maire Chichibnoud (nee Dilworth), No 13 Station Road, Ballyshannon, Co Donegal F94 FK37.

Maire passed away suddenly but peacefully at Sligo University Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Renè Chichibnoud, her parents Ky and Gerry and their son James.

Sadly missed by her son Rodney (Hartion), her brothers Gerry (Mai), Peter (Bridge RIP), Eric (Katherine) RIP Imelda and sister Catherina.

Further funeral arrangements to be announced later.
