Doris Kearney, Kerrykeel

The death has occurred of Doris Kearney (née Love), Main Street, Kerrykeel.

Ms Kearney passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday, August 4.

Predeceased by her husband Thomas and son-in-law James Wray.

Dearly loved mother of Linda Heron (Ian), Dawn Wray, Ross (Yvonne) and Dexter (Jean).

Deeply regretted by her daughters, son-in-law, sons and daughters-in-law.

Her ten grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, brother Raymond Love (Frances), sister Margaret Ramsey (Billy), sisters- in-law Vera McClean and Ida Corry.

Reposing at her late residence Main Street, Kerrykeel from 12 noon to 9pm, today, Wednesday, August 6.

Funeral Service at 2pm on Thursday, August 7 in Fannet Presbyterian Church, Kerrykeel follow by interment in the family plot in Milford Presbyterian Churchyard.

Denis Duff, Stranorlar and Westmeath

The death has occurred of Denis Duff, 7 Chapel Street, Stranorlar and formerly Bramble Close, Baylogh, Athlone, Westmeath.

Mr Duff passed away suddenly at his late residence on Tuesday, August 5.

Beloved husband of Edna, much loved father to Emma, (Andrew) Daniel (Michelle) and James, (Heather) dearly loved grandfather of Sean, Eamon, Eoin, Shay, Keeva, and Hayley, cherished brother of Helen PJ, (Jean) Brendan, (Maire) and Monica (Pat). Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his loving wife, sons, daughter, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Remains reposing at Mc Cool’s Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey F93WR62 on Thursday, August 7 from 6pm to 9pm.

Funeral leaving from there on Friday, August 8 at 12 noon for cremation in Lakelands Crematorium H12RF8, Cavan at 3pm.

Michael Cullen, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Michael Cullen, 23 Hawthorn Heights, Letterkenny.

Mr Cullen passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday, August 4.

He spent the last seven months of his life in the excellent care of all the staff at St Eunan’s Nursing Home.

Much loved by all his family, wife Monika, sons Greg and Dermot, daughters Angela and Nuala and granddaughters Hanna and Marlene, Greg’s partner Claudia, and sons in law Harry and Barry.

Pre-deceased by baby infant Karen, his parents Hannah (nee Coyle) and Michael, his brothers Patsy and Neil and his sisters Mary and Anne.

Remains reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top on Wednesday, August 6 from 4pm to 6pm, removal afterwards to St Eunan’s Cathedral to repose overnight.
House strictly private please.

Requiem Mass will take place at 1pm on Thursday, August 7 in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, followed by burial afterwards in Leck Cemetery.

Family flowers only.

Phyllis Patton, Castlefinn

The death has occurred of Phyllis Patton (née Gillespie), of Grahamsland, Castlefinn.

Ms Patton passed away peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, on Sunday, August 3.

Much loved mother of Chris (Kathy), Lyndon (Lorraine), Sha (Ellie) and Benita (Paul), loving nana of Conor (Edel), Darryl (Chloe), Zara, Jack and Molly and great-nana of Méabh, dearest sister of Benny, Nettie, Michael, Leo, Margo, Damien and the late Marie Goretti, Billy and Cherie, cherished daughter of the late Eileen and Joe.

Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Phyllis will be conducted in Lynch’s Funeral Home, 50 Castlefin Road, Castlederg on Wednesday, August 6 at 12 noon.

Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Castlefinn.

Very deeply regretted and sadly missed by her entire family circle.

Danny Kelly, Termon

The death has occurred of  Danny Kelly, Currin, Termon (F92F586), peacefully at his late residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by parents, John and Ellen, sister, Ellen and brother, Hugh.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen, son, John and wife Fionnuala. Fondly remembered by grandchildren, Jack, Finn, Luka and Ava, extended family members, neighbours and friends.

Danny’s remains will repose at his late residence.

Funeral from there on Wednesday for requiem Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Termon at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Family time from 11pm until 12 noon and on the morning of the funeral.

Samuel Delap, Milford

The death took place on July 4 of Samuel Delap, 44 Ashburton Avenue, Addiscombe, Croydon. CR0 7JE. United Kingdom, formerly Ballyconnelly, Milford.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, Colina, son, Hector, daughter-in-law, Jane, grandson, Leo, sister, Eileen Moore and brother-in-law, George Moore (Ballymaleel), sister-in-law, Carol Delap (Ballyconnelly), nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his sister, Anna Stewart (Brambles, Ramelton) and his brother, Roy Delap, (Ballyconnelly).

Funeral Service on Wednesday August 6 at 2pm in Ramelton Presbyterian Church. Burial afterwards in Bank Cemetery.

Joe O’Donnell, Jersey and formerly Gortahork

The death has occurred of Joe O’Donnell, St Helier, Jersey, and formerly of Ardsmore, Gortahork.

He passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 26, aged 51.

Predeceased by his loving parents, Bernard and Gracie O’Donnell. Sadly missed by his brothers, David McNally and David O’Donnell, sisters, Julie and Marianne O’Donnell, his nieces and nephews, Fionn, Naincí, Gracie, Úna, Sally, Maureen, Daphne and Oscar, brothers and sister-in-law, Brian, John and Abi, extended family, neighbours, work colleagues and a wide circle of friends in Jersey and Donegal.

A memorial service will be held at Jersey Crematorium, Westmount Road, St Helier on Thursday, August 7 at 10am.

Remains will repose at Ardsmore, F92 E4H1 with wake commencing on Friday, August 15 at 12 noon with Rosary at 8pm. Private house after the Rosary.

Removal to Christ the King Church, Gort a’ Choirce F92 DP86 for requiem Mass on Saturday, August 16 at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery.

A shuttle bus will be available from An Stór, Gort a’ Choirce to attend the wake.
