Joe Shields, Carrigart

The death has occurred of Joe Shields, Carrigart.

Mr Shields passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday, November 3.

Dearly missed by his loving wife Margaret his children Brendan, Seamus (Danni) , Susan (Pete), Elaine (Patrick) , Declan (Sharon), Joey(Mary), Aidan (Chrissie), and Micheal, his sisters Patsy mc Fadden, Eileen Sweeny and Kathleen Bane and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his infant Son Danny sisters Nancy Mc Clafferty, Bridget Connor, Susan Curran and his daughter in-law Maura.

Reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of rest today, Tuesday, November 4 at 2.15 pm with removal at 3 pm going to his late residence.

Funeral from there on Thursday morning going to St John the Baptist Church, Carrigart for 11 am funeral Mass with burial afterwards in Carrigart Cemetery, family time please from 10 pm to 12 noon and on the morning of the funeral, family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the friends of Letterkenny Hospital C/O any family member or Joe Logue Funeral Director.

A shuttle bus will be in operation from the chapel Carpark in Carrigart both evenings from 5 pm.

Jimmy Ó Dochartaigh, Bunbeg

The death has occurred of Jimmy Ó Dochartaigh, Knockastolar, Bunbeg and formerly of Carraig a’ Choill, Ranafast.

Mr Ó Dochartaigh passed away at his home on Monday, November 4.

Predeceased by his wife Bella, parents; Charlie and Rosie Doherty, sisters; Bridie Doody, Rose Murray, Kathleen Kiely and brother Tony Doherty.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughters; Roseleen McGarvey (Cormac) and Margaret McBride (Neil), sons; Cathal Doherty and Séimi Doherty (Eileen), sister Maureen Greene (Donnchadh), brother Hughie Doherty (Sheila), grandchildren; Danny, Rosie & Leah McGarvey, Jimí McBride, Noah Doherty, Eoghan O’Neill, Jay and Hollie Doherty and extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at his home in Knockastolar (F92 X4K8)) today, Tuesday and Wednesday from 11am – 8pm.

Rosary nightly at 8pm.

House private after rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Funerral Mass will take place on Thursday, November 6 in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Annagry at 12 noon, burial afterwards in the new graveyard, Annagry. The Funeral Mass can be viewed live on Kieran Roarty Funeral Director’s Facebook page and on the Annagry Parish webcam.

Norman Jervis, Mountcharles

The death has occurred of Norman Jervis, Doorin Lane, Mountcharles.

Mr Jervis passed away peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 3.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Hazel, daughter Karen (Declan), son David (Brenda), grandchildren, Abbie, Jordan, Rhyss, Jamie and Jorja, sister Ann (Harry), brother Victor (Anna – RIP), nieces, nephews and extended family.
Predeceased by his sister Gladys.

Reposing at Gallagher’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles,(F94 X02N) on Tuesday, November 4 from 2pm until 8pm, followed by removal to his late residence.

Reposing at his late residence on Wednesday, November 5 for family and friends only from 2pm until 8pm.

Removal from there on Thursday, November 6 going to St John’s Church, Inver, for funeral service at 2pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

House strictly private on the morning of the funeral.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Parkinsons & Pulmonary Fibrosis Association.

Partrick Bartholomew Flanagan, Fermanagh, Dublin and Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Patrick Bartholomew Flanaghan, of Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh, Dublin City, Co Dublin and Ballyshannon, Co Donegal.

Mr Flanaghan passed away suddenly on Monday, November 3.

He is sadly missed by his loving son’s, Gareth (Ciara) Stephen (Kayleigh) and Darren, loving brother of Valentine O’Kelly and Caroline Kelly, devoted grandfather to his many grandchildren.

Barry’s remains will repose at Ballycassidy House Funeral Home, 101 Killadeas Road, Ballinamallard, BT94 2ES on Thursday, November 6 from 5pm to 8pm.

All are welcome to meet the family.

A celebration of Barrys life will take place at Ballycassidy House Funeral Home on Friday, November 7 at 1pm, with burial at Breandrum cemetery, Tempo Road, Enniskillen, BT74 6GZ

James Coll, Creeslough

The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of James Coll, Drimnacarry, Creeslough.

House strictly private please, family only.

Funeral Mass in St Columba’s Church, Termon on Wednesday, November 5 at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

All are welcome.

James Morgan, Carndonagh

The death has occurred of James Morgan, Gortin, Ballyloskey, Carndonagh.

Mr Morgan passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Saturday, November 1.

Predeceased by his wife Mary and his son Mick.

Dear brother of Mary, Ann and Tony.

Deeply regretted by his granddaughter Sara, her husband Will, his great-grandchildren Jake and Liv, his nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

His remains will repose at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh F93YE1C from 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday where all are welcome to pay their respects.

Removal from there on Wednesday morning at 10.20am going to St Mary’s Church, Bocan, Culdaff for 11am requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Requiem Mass can be viewed live on the parish webcam.

Sean McGee, Ballintra

The death has occurred of Sean McGee, Ballymagroarty Scotch, Ballintra.

Mr McGee passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 1.

Predeceased by his parents John and Philomena (nee Ward).

Adored husband of his soulmate Charlotte (nee McCrea), father to his beloved children Shauna (Pierre) and Diarmaid (Siobhán).

Loving grandfather to his beautiful granddaughter Aisling and cherished brother to his sisters, Anne-Marie (Jim) and Caroline.

Fondly remembered by his sister in law Valerie (Jackie), his nieces, Kiara, Donna and Amy, nephews, Clifford, James and Rory, his cousin Carol and his grandnephew’s Marcus and Conall.

Funeral Mass Tuesday, November 4 in St Brigid’s Church, Ballintra at 11am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Joseph McGarvey, Dublin and Gweedore

The death has occurred of Joseph (Joe) McGarvey, Tallaght, Co Dublin and formerly of Gaoth Dobhair.

Mr McGarvey passed away peacefully at St Vincent’s Hospital surrounded by his family on Friday, October 31.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Patty and his dear son Paul.

Loving dad to Janice, Helen, Trish and Cathal.

Joe will be forever loved and always remembered by his family, sisters Rose, Madge and Mary, brothers John and Charlie, sister-in-law Shelagh, daughters-in-law Martha and Tina, sons-in-law David, Chris and Ben, his much loved and cherished grandchildren Paul, Isadora, Yasmin, Cathal, Evan, Isabella, Ryan, David, Brandon and Harry, great-grandchildren Daniel and Olivia, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing in his home on Tuesday, November 4 from 5pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, November 5 at 10am in St Dominic’s Church, Tallaght, following onto Bohernabreena Cemetery for burial.

Family flowers only please.
