The death has occurred of Joseph Houston, Lettershanbo, Cloghan, Donegal, formerly Lettershanbo, Cloghan. Peacefully at his home in Birmingham, England, in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary, much loved father to Angela, (James) Caroline, (Craig) and John (Helen). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his son, daughter, grandchildren, son in law, daughter in law, nephews, nieces in Ireland and England, (Mc Cool family, Hone family, Houston family) extended family and friends. The death has occurred of Mary Carr, Carnbeagh, Clar, Donegal Town, Co Donegal. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny, Co Donegal. Predeceased by her husband Seamus, baby daughter Mary and daughter Bernie. Dearly loved mother of Maryrose (Paul), Margaret (son in law Colm) and Fidelma (Andrew). Deeply missed by grandson Cailean (Denise) and close friends. May She Rest in Peace. Reposing at her late residence on Monday 23rd December from 2pm to 9pm. The death has occurred of Noreen Bourke (née Corry), Ballymagroarty, Ballintra, Donegal, F94 Y2X8. Peacefully at Ballyshannon Community Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband, Michael. Sadly missed by her sons, Michael, Patrick and Dennis, her daughters, Mary, Theresa and Nuala, her brother, sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends. The death has occurred of Kathleen (Kay) Timoney, Ardeskin, Donegal Town suddenly in Letterkenny University Hospital. Sadly missed by her son’s Henry (Casey), Jason (Shannen), long time friend, Jackie, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and extended family. Kay’s remains will repose at her late residence in Ardeskin tomorrow (Tuesday) 5pm – 9pm & Wednesday private. Kay’s remains will leave her late residence at 10:00am on Thursday for requiem mass at 11am in St Bridget’s Church, Ballintra with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining graveyard. The death has taken place on Sunday 22nd December 2024 at Letterkenny General Hospital of Marjorie Sweeney, née Bustard, Garryharry, Letterkenny and formerly Ballyboe, Cloghan. Deeply missed by her loving husband Bill, sisters Margaret, Nan, Eileen, Doreen and May, brothers Jimmy, George and John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. The death has occurred of Eileen Mc Nelis, Drumaghy Park, formerly of Ard Connell, Ardara. Sadly missed by her mother, Ann, her sisters, Julie, Lisa, Lynn and Catherine, her extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her father Peter. Remains reposing at Mc Cabes Funeral Home, Common Ardara (F94 VCK1) on Tuesday 24th of December from 1.00pm until 5.00pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday 26th of December at 12 noon followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
The death has occurred of Charlie McKinney, Holm Cottage, Cockhill Rd, Buncrana, Co Donegal. Charlie is predeceased by his wife Kathleen and grandson AJ. RIP. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his loving family, Rosemary (Philip), Patrick (Mary), Caroline (Scott) and his cherished grandchildren, brother Michael and sister-in-law, his nieces, nephews, cousins and his many friends.
