John Patterson, Castlefinn

The death has occurred of John Patterson, Meenlougher, Castlefinn.

Mr Patterson passed away peacefully at Donegal Hospice on Sunday, June 22.

Husband of the late Margaret, and dear father of Dale (Vicky), Kim (Gregory) and Jill (Gareth) and grandfather of Logan, Faye, Toby, Jena, Sam and Scott.

Funeral today, Tuesday, June 24, in Donoughmore Presbyterian Church, Liscooley, with service at 2.30pm, followed by interment in adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to the Donegal Hospice, Knocknamona, Letterkenny, Donegal, Ireland.

Will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by the entire family circle.

Pauline McGloin, Rathmullan

The death has occurred of Pauline McGloin, Main Street, Rathmullan.

Ms McGloin passed away on Saturday, June 21.

Reposing at her home.

Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan on Wednesday at 11am followed by private cremation.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing son Anthony, brother Paul, sister Helen, mother Pauline and granddaughter Kaitlin.

Dolores Clarke, Galway and Buncrana

The death has occurred of Dolores Clarke (née Murphy), Rose Cottage, Mackney, Ballinasloe, Galway and formerly Buncrana, Donegal.

Ms Clarke passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at St Brendan’s Nursing Unit, Creagh on Sunday, June 22.

Predeceased by her husband Padraic, her son Joachim and her brother Joe Murphy (Buncrana).

Dolores will be sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Olive and Marcella, sons Padraig, Peter and Adrian, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Michael, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Dolores will repose in Grenham’s Funeral Home, Ballinasloe (H53 HK15), on Tuesday, June 24 from 5pm to 7pm.

Private removal on Wednesday morning to St. Michael’s Church, Ballinasloe for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in Creagh Cemetery.

Dolores’ family would like to thank you for your support and prayers at this difficult time.

Kathleen O’Donnell, Portsalon and Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Kathleen O’Donnell (née Shiels), Portsalon, Fanad and formerly of Ard O’Donnell, Letterkenny.

Ms O’Donnell passed away at her home at 33 Ballyraine Park, Letterkenny on Saturday, June 21.

Kathleen was a retired psychiatric nurse who worked at St. Conal’s hospital.

She was predeceased by her husband Pat.

Kathleen will be deeply missed by her daughters Mary (Adrian), Maggie (Ken), Finola and son Daniel, grandchildren Mathew and Ciara, sister Bridget and her nieces and nephews.

Requiem Mass at 11am on Tuesday, June 24 in Letterkenny Cathedral with burial afterwards in new Leck cemetery.

Rosaline McCauley, Castlefinn

The death has occurred of Rosaline McCauley (née Crawford), Sessiagh, Castlefinn.

Ms McCauley passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22.

Lovingly missed by her husband Charlie, sons and daughters Karl, Keith (Susan), Adrian (Charlene), Olga (Conor), Niamh (Shane), David (Dolly), her 16 grandchildren, her brother James (Mabel), sisters Kathleen (Sean Quinn), Bernie (Brian Slater) and all her extended family and friends.

Rosaline was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Crawford, sisters Margaret, Evelyn and Elizabeth, may they all rest in peace.

Rosaline will be reposing at her late residence Sessiagh, Castlefinn, F93YXY3 on Tuesday, June 24 from 11am to 10pm.

Wednesday morning of the funeral private to family please.

Funeral cortege will be leaving her late residence on Wednesday morning, June 25 at 10.30am going to St Mary’s Church, Castlefinn for 11am requiem Mass with burial afterwards in St Columba’s Church Cemetery, Doneyloop F93VH90

Sally Dempsey, Dublin and Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Sally Dempsey (née Hannigan), Foxrock, Dublin and formerly of High Road, Letterkenny.

Ms Dempsey passed away peacefully at Blackrock Hospice, Dublin on Saturday, June 21.

Predeceased by her husband Aidan, parents John and Bridget, brothers Seamus and John and sister Bried.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sister Maura and brother-in-law Des (Donegal), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and her many friends.

Removal on Tuesday, June 24 to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock, arriving for Reception Prayers at 9.45am, followed by Requiem Mass at 10am, and afterwards cremation in Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W.

Hugh Gormley, Raphoe

The death has occurred of Hugh Gormley, Magheraboy, Raphoe.

Mr Gormley passed away in Beach Hill Manor, Nursing Home, Buncrana on Friday, June 20.

Lovingly missed by his daughters Kathleen (Gerry) and Mary (Luke), son Michael (Nuala), his grandsons, two great-granddaughters, one great-grandson and all his extended family and friends.

Hugh was predeceased by his wife Nellie and son Hugh, may they all rest in peace.

Funeral cortege will be leaving his late residence on Tuesday morning, June 24 at 8.30am going to St Mary’s Oratory, Buncrana (F93 EY27) for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in St Mary’s Church Cemetery, Cockhill, Buncrana.
