Edward (Eddie) Doherty, Crossroads

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Edward (Eddie) Doherty, Crossroads, Templemoyle, Culdaff.

Deeply regretted by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

His remains will repose at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Carndonagh.

The wake is private at the request of the deceased.

Funeral Mass will take place there at 11am on Tuesday, July 22, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Carndonagh Community Hospital c/o any family member or Kelly’s Funeral Directors.

Mary Gallinagh, Ballybofey

The death has occurred of Mary Gallinagh (née Kelly), Curraghamore, Ballybofey and formerly of Corgary Road, Aghyaran.

Ms Gallinagh passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 20.

Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Peadar, daughters Breda (Darryl), Roisin (John), Carmel (Damian), Aisling (Stephen) and son Martin (Michelle), grandchildren Garvan, Charlotte, Ciarán, Niall, Shay, Meabh, Dylan, Ava, new baby twins Lillia and Lucia, Imelda, Eoghan, Laura, Alana and Cormac.

She will be deeply missed by her brothers Joe, Hugh and John James, sisters Bridie and Rosaleen, her wider family circle, neighbours and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her late residence.

The house is strictly private please, at the request of the deceased.

Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday, July 23 at 10.15am going to St Mary’s Church, Stranorlar for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in Drumboe Cemetery.

Everyone is welcome to attend the funeral.

Roy Bell, St Johnston

The death has occurred of Roy Bell, Drumatoland, St Johnston, Donegal.

Mr Bell passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Sunday, July 20.

Roy will be deeply missed by his loving wife Jemma, sons Ross (Melisa), Alistair (Maggie) Kyle (Alison), daughters Sharon, Joanne (Declan) and Lisa (Damien) also his grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.

His remains will repose at his late residence today, Tuesday from 12noon – 10pm. Funeral leaving from his home on Wednesday, July 23 at 2.15pm for 3pm Service of Thanksgiving in Ray Presbyterian Church, Manorcunningham, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Family time on the morning of the funeral please.

Jean McMonagle, Quigley’s Point

The death has taken place at Beach Hill Manor Nursing Home, Lisfannon of Jean McMonagle (née Quigley), Carrowkeel, Quigley’s Point.

Beloved wife of Charles McMonagle and much loved mother of Kevin (Noreen), Avril, Colin (Claire), Orla (Kieran), Garrett (Georgina) and daughter-in-law Sharon.

Deeply regretted by her grandchildren, Conall, Aoife, Orán, Conor (RIP), Éimear, Ryan, Cathal, Ciara, Fearghal, Shannon and great grandchildren.

Jean’s remains will repose at the home of her son, Colin McMonagle, Carrowkeel, Quigley’s Point F93 C425.

Funeral from there on Wednesday, July 23 at 10.30am for 11am funeral Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Drung, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Hugh J Holmes, Redcastle and Manor

The peaceful death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Hugh J Holmes, Ballyratten, Redcastle, F93 DYF4, and formerly of Manorcunningham.

Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Catherine and his brothers Fr Sammy and Paddy.

Beloved husband of Ann and much loved father of Catherine (Philip) and Evelyn and devoted grandfather of Stephen, Matthew (Maria) and Niall.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sisters Kathleen Coll, Monica Gorman, Brigid Harvey, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Hugh’s remains will repose at his late residence.

Funeral from there on Tuesday, July 22 at 10.15am for 11am funeral Mass in St Columba’s Church, Drung followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Gavin Burke, Newtowncunningham

The death has occurred of Gavin Burke, Moneygreggan, Newtowncunningham.

Mr Burke passed away peacefully in the caring hands of the staff in the Donegal Hospice, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, July 19.

Treasured son and sadly missed by his mum and dad, Annette and Martin, brothers Gary, Brian (Grace), Shane (Caroline), Martin (Neasa), twin sisters Elaine (Frankie) and Edel (Keith) and Dearbhla.

Deeply regretted by nieces Alisha, Olivia, Zoey, Ava, Halle and Sofia, nephews Harry, Matthew, Luke Frankie, Charlie and Clarke.

Always remembered by his wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Funeral Mass in All Saints Church Newtowncunningham on Tuesday, July 22 at 12 noon followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Phelim McGill, Carrick

The death has occurred of Phelim McGill, Straleel, Carrick.

Mr McGill passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, his children, Philomena (Conor), Barry, Grainne, Phelim and Aidan (Emma), his brother Gerard, his sisters, Mary Service (Andy), Kathleen Gorman and Martina Byrne (Joe), his son in law Raymond Mc Cabe, his nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Phelim will be forever remembered and cherished by his loving grandchildren, Jessica, Ailbhe, Evelyn, Ryan, Aoibhinn, Katie Ann and Meabh.

Phelim is predeceased by his parents, Mary and Con, his brothers John, Conal and his sister Teresa,

Phelim’s remains will repose at his residence (F94 E3F4) on Tuesday from 11am until 11pm.

Removal from his residence on Wednesday, going to St Patricks Church, Meenaneary (time to be confirmed) with burial afterwards in Carrick Cemetery.

House private on the morning of the Funeral.

Radine Hamilton, Ballintra

The death has occurred of Radine Hamilton, Brownhall, Ballintra.

Ms Hamilton passed away on Sunday, July 20.

Predeceased by her loving husband John.

Deeply regretted by her sons James and Edward, daughter in law Adriana, and grandson John.

Funeral service in Drumholm Parish Church, Ballintra, Wednesday, July 23 at 2pm, followed by burial in Laghey Parish Church graveyard.

House private please.

Condy Campbell, Glenties

The death has occurred of Condy Campbell, Greenans, Glenties.

Mr Campbell passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 20.

Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Tuesday, July 22, in The Church of the Holy Family, Edeninfagh, Glenties with burial afterwards in Edeninfagh Cemetery.

Condy is pre-deceased by his wife Sara, brother Micháel, Charlie, Paddy, Peadar and sisters Annie, Mary and Susan. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by The Campbell and Cannon families, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.
