Kathleen Cullen, Carrigart

The death has taken place at Aras Uí Dhomhnall, Milford of Kathleen Cullen, Carnagore, Carrigart.

Removal from The Eternal Light chapel of Rest, Mountain Top this afternoon at 4 pm, going to her late residence.

Removal from there today, Wednesday, July 16 evening at 8 pm, going to the Church of St John the Baptist to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11 am, followed by internment in the adjoining cemetery.

Kathleen will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Rosaleen Gallagher, Strabane and Stranorlar

The death has taken place July 14 at Altnagelvin Hospital of Rosaleen Gallagher (née Kilpatrick), 7 Townsend Terrace, Strabane and formerly of Stranorlar.

Beloved wife of the late Patsy, much-loved mother of Fr Eoghan, Claire and the late Stephen, mother-in-law of Niall, dearly loved grandmother of Fiadh and Éanna, and sister of Vincent and Jim.

Reposing at her home.

Funeral leaving her home on Thursday, July 17 at 11.30 am for Requiem Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strabane at 12 noon.

Interment afterwards in Strabane Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing son, daughter, son-in-law, grandchildren, brothers and family circle.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.

Family time please from 10 pm until 11 am and on the morning of the funeral.

Philomena Gallagher, Clonmany and Creeslough

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Philomena Gallagher (neé Hartin), Number 10 St Columbcille Village, Clonmany, formerly of Main Street, Creeslough.

Predeceased by her husband, Manus.

Deeply regretted by her sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Her remains will be reposing at the Hartin family home, Collin, Carndonagh F93PC43.

Removal from there on Thursday morning at 10.20am to the Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Requiem Mass can be viewed live on Carndonagh Parish, Derry Diocese, Ireland.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to St. Columcille Village, Clonmany C/O any family member or Kely’s Funeral Directors.

Family time please from 10pm to 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Anne Weir, Meath and Ardara

The death has occurred of Anne Weir (née Herron), Hill of Down, Enfield, Meath and formerly of Edergole, Ardara.

Ms Weir passed away peacefully in the excellent care of the nurses and staff of St Camillus Nursing Centre, Killucan, Co Westmeath.

Predeceased by her husband Jimmy, deeply regretted by her brother Paddy, sister in law Bríd, brother in law Donal Gallagher, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in St. Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel (N91 VF51) Killucan this Thursday, July 17 from 5pm concluding with prayers at 6pm.

Funeral Mass in St. Camillus Chapel on Friday, July 18 at 12pm with burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Killyon, Co Meath

Harry Stewart, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Harry Stewart, 258 St Joseph’s Avenue, Donegal Town.

Mr Stewart passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday, July 14.

Predeceased by his loving wife Agatha, sadly missed by son Mark, daughters Sonia, Karen, Aileen and Mary Jo and his brother Willie Joe, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, friends and extended family.

Remains reposing at his late residence today Tuesday, July 15 from 7pm until 9pm and on Wednesday, July 16 from 2pm until 9pm.

Removal to St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town on Thursday, July 17 at 10:30am for Mass at 11 o’clock, with interment immediately afterwards in Clar Graveyard.

Damien O’Brien, Killygordon

The death has occurred of Damien O’Brien, Huntington Beach, California and formerly Stoneybatter, Killygordon.

Mr O’Brien passed away suddenly and tragically on Sunday, July 6.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, Michelle, (nee O’Connor), adoring sons Oscar and Luke, his parents Patricia and Bernard, parents-in-law, Pat and Patricia O’Connor (Glenfin), sisters Colleen and Róisin, brothers Stephen and Bernard, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, partners, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, colleagues and wide circle of friends.

Damien will repose at the home of his parents in Stoneybatter, Killygordon, F93 WP40, from 5 pm on Wednesday, July 16, until 9 pm and on Thursday, July 17 from 1 pm until 9 pm.

Rosary nightly at 9 pm with family time on both nights from after the rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Damien’s requiem Mass will take place on Friday, July 18, at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Killygordon, F93 W2C2, with burial afterwards in Cill Mhuire Cemetery, Glenfin.

A shuttle bus will be in operation from Lafferty’s Multi Crete yard to the wake house.

Peter Carr, Dublin and Raphoe

The death has occurred of Peter Carr, Goatstown, Dublin and formerly of Raphoe.

Mr Carr passed away unexpectedly in Helsinki University Hospital, Finland with his children by his side on Sunday, July 6.

Beloved husband of the late Anka and loving father of Tanja and Chris and beloved brother to Eimear and John.

He will be very sadly missed by his loving family, his grandchildren Clío and Rosa, step-grandson Jack, daughter-in-law Bobbi, son-in-law Zaine, sister-in-law Nalle, brother-in-law Jussi, his nephews and nieces and his grandnieces and nephews.

He will also be missed so much by all his extended family, friends and neighbours both in Ireland and Finland.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 16 at 10am in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount, followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Diabetes Ireland.

Joe O’Donnell, Jersey and Gortahork

The death has occurred of Joe O’Donnell, St Helier, Jersey and formerly of Ardsmore, Gortahork.

Mr O’Donnell passed away suddenly on Friday, June 28.

Predeceased by his loving parents Bernard and Gracie O’Donnell.

Sadly missed by his brothers David McNally and David O’Donnell, sisters Julie and Marianne O’Donnell, his nieces and nephews, Fionn, Naincí, Gracie, Úna, Sally, Maureen, Daphne and Oscar, brother and sister in laws, Brian, John and Abi, extended family, neighbours, work colleagues and a wide circle of friends in Jersey and Donegal.

Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.
