Ron Smith 10 Rossaor Cottages, Ballyliffin, Clonmany

The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Ron Smith, 10 Rossaor Cottages, Ballyliffin, Clonmany, F93V6P7.

Beloved Husband of Margaret Smith (Doherty).

Sadly missed by his sister in-law Mary Doherty, nieces, nephews, friends and the wider family circle.

His remains will be reposing at the family home in Ballylifin on Wednesday 9th of October from 3pm till 8pm where you are welcome to pay your respects.

His remains will be going to Lakeland Crematorium, Co Cavan on Thursday the 10th October for for private cremation.

May He Rest In Peace.

Moria Maria Wilson, 9 Caw Park, Limavady Road

The death has  taken place of Moria Maria Wilson, (nee Campbell). Peacefully at Ardlough Care Home (surrounded by her loving family) dearly beloved wife of the late Dessie, much loved mum of Peter and Heather, loving mother-in-law of Denis, adored granny of Adam, great-granny of Brody, dearest sister of May, Joan, Alan and the late Sadie, Jimmy, Betty and Sylvia.
Service of Thanksgiving in her late home 9, Caw Park, Limavady Road on Thursday 10th October at 12.00noon followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery.

Neil CRAWFORD, Burt

7th October 2024 peacefully at his home, Oakleaves Care Centre, 42 Racecourse Road and formerly of Burt, Co. Donegal, beloved son of the late Bridget and Johnny Crawford and brother of Sean, Cathal, Cecilia, Pauline and the late Bobby and Agnes.

Will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and staff at Oakleaves Care Centre and caring beloved friend Pauline.

Neil’s remains will be reposing at Oakleaves Care Centre and the family wish this time to be private. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Brigid’s Church, Carnhill on Thursday at 10 o’clock. Interment afterwards in St Aengus’ cemetery, Burt.

 

John Doherty, Rockfield terrace, Buncrana

The death has taken place in Carndonagh Hospital of John Doherty (Copper) 3 Rockfield Terr, Buncrana. son of the late John and Rose R.I.P. brother of Mary McLaughlin (Alex) and the late Pat R.I.P. (Rosemary) sadly missed by his Nieces, Nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Family circle and friends.

Remains will repose at his residence from 1pm Tuesday 8th. Funeral from there on Thursday 10th at 10.20 a.m. going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for 11am requiem mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

House Private from 11pm to 10am.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Carndonagh Community Hospital Patients Care Fund.

Barney McNulty, Creeslough

The death has occurred of Barney McNulty, 14 St Michael’s Terrace, Creeslough.

Mr McNulty passed away in Falcarragh Community Hospital on Saturday 5.

Survived by his brother Jim (Wales), and his sister Bridget (Newcastle, England), his sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

His remains will be reposing at the home of his nephew, John Mc Nulty, Kilmackloo, Creeslough (F92 Y398) today, Tuesday from 12 noon to 10 pm. Funeral Mass in St Michael’s Church, Creeslough, on Wednesday, October 9, at 11am with burial afterwards in Doe Graveyard.

Hugh McFadden, Ramelton

The death has occurred of Hugh McFadden, Green Lane, Ramelton.

Ms McFadden passed away peacefully in Ramelton Community Hospital on Monday, October 7.

Predeceased by his wife Peg.

Deeply regretted by his loving family, daughters Mary, Mairéad, Áine, Aideen and Jean, sons-in-law Colin, Mark, Daniel, Ian and Barry, grandchildren, brother-in-law Séan Mc Cormack, sister-in-law Sr Anne Mc Cormack, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the residence of his daughter Mary Mc Fadden, Rectory Road, Ramelton, F92 KD81, today, Tuesday, October 8, from 11am until 11pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, October 9, at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Ramelton. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Bridget Mangan, Dublin and Killybegs

The death has occurred of Bridget Mangan (née Ward), Malahide Dublin and formerly Killybegs.

Ms Mangan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Beaumont Hospital on Saturday, October 5.

Very sadly missed by her daughter Catherine, sons John, Stephen and Patrick, son-in-law Des, daughters-in-law Liz and Orla, her adored grandchildren, Claire, Mark, Vineeta, Adam, Jack, Max, Zac and Toby, sisters Suzanne and Phyllis, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at her home on Wednesday (Oct 9th), from 6pm to 8pm. Removal to St Sylvester’s Church, Malahide on Thursday morning, for 11.00am Funeral Mass followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.

Ann Comerford, Ballybofey and Stranorlar

The death has occurred of Ann Comerford (née Ward), 74 The Beeches, Ballybofey and formerly Stranorlar.

Ms Comerford passed away peacefully in the Donegal Hospice surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, October 7.

Beloved daughter of the late Con and Brigid Ward, (ex N.T.), much loved mother of Barry, Lynn, Judy, and Susie, cherished sister of Bernard, Roisin, Mary, Marie, and the late John.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her, son, daughters, brother, sisters, brothers in law, sister in law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, and very many friends.

Remains reposing at Mc Cool’s Chapel of Rest Ballybofey, today, Tuesday, October 8, from 5pm until rosary at 9pm.

Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday, October 9 at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11am with cremation on Thursday, October 10th, at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, at 4.30pm.

Rhoda Buchanan (née Hunter) Socker, Trentagh, Churchill

Unexpectedly at her late residence.

Predeceased by husband Jim (2013).

Rhoda will be sadly missed by her family, many friends and neighbours.

Rhoda’s remains will repose at her late residence today, Tuesday, October 8 from 11am to 10pm.

Funeral from there on Wednesday, October 9 for Service in Trentagh Presbyterian Church at 2pm, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

John Collins, Moville, Donegal / Garryowen, Limerick

The death has taken place of John Collins of Moville, Co. Donegal and formerly of 20 St Laurences Park, Garryowen, Limerick, on the 6th October 2024 at his residence.

Sadly missed by his wife Mary, daughter Jessica, son Sean, grandchildren, sister Mary, brothers Con and Martin, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and a wide circle of friends.

Susan Padmore, Ballybofey and Derry

The death has occurred of Susan Padmore (née O’Reilly), 55The Park, Ballybofey and formerly Derry.

Ms Padmore passed away at her home on Sunday, October 6.

Beloved wife of the late Frederick (Fred), much loved mother of Russell, Kevin, Keiron and the late Lisa and Sean and sister of Raymond, Charlie, Moya, Martin, Annie, Tina and the late Teddy, Lawrence, Brian, Don and Peggy.

Reposing at her home, 55 The Park, Ballybofey today, Tuesday, October 8 from 3pm to 9pm.

Requiem Mass in St Columba`s Church, Long Tower, Derry on Wednesday, October 9 at 10am with interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters and family circle.
