The death has occurred of Robert Wilson, Derries, Ballintra,

Mr Wilson passed away suddenly at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 29.

Cherished husband of Patricia, loving father to Sam and Daniel and grandfather to Olivia and Rowan.

Dearly missed by all of his family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his residence on Thursday from 5pm to 8pm.

House private at all other times please.

Removal on Friday, November 1 to Ballintra Methodist Church for 2pm Funeral service with burial afterwards in Drumholm graveyard.

Bernie Whoriskey, Burt and Leitrim

The death has occurred of Bernie Whoriskey (née Clancy), Carrowen, Burt and formerly of Hollymount House, Glenboy, Manorhamilton, Leitrim.

Ms Whoriskey passed away at the Donegal Hospice on Wednesday, October 30.

Predeceased by her parents Paddy Joe and Mary Clancy; her brothers Joe, Tommy and Mickey; her sisters Margaret and Breege and her nephews Michael and Tucker.

She will be forever missed by her loving husband Seamus, their amazing dog Major, brothers Pat, Anthony, Peter, Gerard and Eugene, sisters Kathleen and Anna B, in-laws, nieces, nephews and all her extended family.

Removal from Murphy’s Home F93PW96 Thursday, October 31 at 2pm going to Chapel of Rest, Manorhamilton, Co Leitrim F91XO12 to repose from 5pm to 8pm.

Reposing at her late residence at Carrowen, Burt from 11am on Friday morning, November 1 where you are welcome to pay your respects.

Removal from there on Saturday afternoon, November 2 at 1.15pm to St. Aengus’ Church, Burt for Requiem Mass at 2pm followed by interment in Burt Cemetery.

Maria Molloy, Portnoo

The death has occurred of Maria Molloy, Loughfad, Portnoo.

Sadly missed by her husband Willie, sons David, Darren and Liam, daughters in law Elaine, Michelle and Adriana, her grandchildren Callum, Sophia, Kai, Mark and Jamie.

Forever remembered by her sisters Anne and Lisa and brother Michael and all her extended family, neighbours and friends.

Her remains will repose at Shovlins Funeral Home, Sandfield F94N923 this evening (Thursday) from 4pm to 8pm.

Funeral from there on Friday morning at 10.30a.m to St Conal’s Church, Kilclooney for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Damien McClay, Strabane and Lifford

The death has occurred of Damien McClay, 2 Tamworth Grove, Strabane and formerly of Lifford.

Mr McClay passed away at Altnagelvin Hospital on Tuesday, October 29.

Beloved partner of Leeann, much loved father of Robyn, dearly loved son of Antoinette and the late Robert Mc Clay and cherished brother of Emma, Laura, Nichola, Ashling and Michelle.

Remains reposing at his home.

Funeral leaving his home on Friday, November 1 at 9.30a.m.for Requiem Mass in St Mary`s Church, Melmount at 10a.m.

Interment afterwards in St Patrick`s Cemetery, Murlog, Lifford.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken, partner, daughter, mum, sisters and family circle.

Gerard (Gerry) Mannion, Ballyshannon and Sligo Town

The death has occurred of Gerard (Gerry) Mannion, Five Oaks, Knather, Ballyshannon and formerly of Sligo Town.

Mr Mannion passed away at Sligo University Hospital on Wednesday, October 30.

He is predeceased by his parents Paddy Joe and Lily and his baby sister Claire.

Loving husband of Jackie and dear father of Keith, Bryan and Derek.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughter-in-law Erica, grandchildren Charlie, Arran and Lily, brother Padraic, sisters Freda, Noleen, Martha, Hilary and Dervla, nieces, nephews, in-laws, relatives and friends.

Funeral arrangements to be announced later.

The death has occurred of P.J. Gallagher, Mullindrait, Stranorlar.

Mr Gallagher passed away peacefully at Donegal Hospiuce surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, October 30.

Beloved husband of Marie, much loved father of Martin (Laura), devoted grandfather to Finn, and Rían.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his wife, son, grandchildren, sister Adrienne, brother-in-law Jim, extended family, and very many friends.

Remains reposing at Mc Cool’s Chapel of Rest Ballybofey, on Thursday, October 31 and Friday, November 1 from 6pm to 9pm with Rosary both nights at 9pm.

Funeral leaving from the Chapel of Rest on Saturday, November 2, at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11am with interment afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Andy Doherty (Butcher), Larahirl, Culdaff.

Mr Doherty passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 29.

Predeceased by his wife Magdalene much loved father of Annemarie (Martin), Bernadette (David) and Sean.

Deeply loved by his grandchildren Colette, Siobhan, David, Claire, Kate, Evie and his great grandchildren.

Sadly missed by his brothers, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and the wider family circle.

Mr Doherty’s remains are reposing at his home where you are welcome to pay your respects.

Angela Benson (née Doherty), 2 The Glebe, Stranorlar and Sligo

The death has occurred of Angela Benson (née Doherty), 2 The Glebe, Stranorlar and formerly of Ballisodare, Sligo.

Ms Benson passed away at Falcarragh Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family and under the wonderful care of the staff there on Wednesday, October 30.

Beloved wife of Milo and adoring mother to Tony, sister Teresa McElhinney, nephew’s Joseph McElhinney, Adrian, Richard (Doherty), niece’s Terri Dunlevy (nee McElhinney) Louise Doherty.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband, her beloved son, sadly missed by her sister, nephews, nieces, sister-in-law and large circle of friends and neighbours. Pre-deceased by her parents Peter and Annie and her brothers Kieran, Eugene.

Ms Benson’s remains will be reposing at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Drumboe Avenue, Stranorlar, F93 A461 on Thursday, October 31, from 6 pm until Rosary at 9 pm.

Removal from there on Friday morning, November 1, at 10.45 am to arrive at Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar for Requiem Mass at 11 am with burial immediately afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery, Stranorlar.

Jim McConnell, Waterford, Cork and Milford

The death has occurred of Jim McConnell, Kinsalebeg, Waterford and Youghal, Cork and formerly of Milford.

Mr McConnell passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and in the care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Dunabbey House and recently of Dungarvan Hospital on October, Sunday 27.

Beloved husband of the late Kay (Nee Treacy) and much loved father of Brian and Ross, sadly missed by his loving family, daughters-in-law Evelyn and Alison, grandson Daniel, brother Tommy, sister Georgina, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, close family friend Jennifer, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Funeral service will take place on Friday, November 1, at 1pm in St Pauls, Church, Ardmore with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Eamonn McCarthy, Dublin and Malin Head

The death has occurred of Eamonn McCarthy, Lucan, Dublin and formerly of Malin Head.

Mr McCarthy passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the ICU team at the Hermitage Clinic on Monday, October 28.

Predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary, his sister Frances and his brother Declan.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret and his family Aisling, Aoibheann, Gerard, Ciara, Roisin, Cormac, and brothers Dillon, Ciaran and Desmond.

Adored by Conor, Jessica and Jack and remembered with love by uncle John and Ann, his brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home Lucan on Friday evening, November 1 between 5 pm and 7 pm.

Removal on Saturday morning, November 2 to Newlands Cross Crematorium for a celebration of Mr McCarthy’s life at 10 am.

Ryan McCauley, Ramelton and Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Ryan McCauley, 1 Lennon Grove, Ramelton and formerly of Letterkenny.

Mr McCauley passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 25.

Predeceased by his grandparents Edward and Patsy Mc Cauley, Charlie and Mary Joe O’Donnell, aunts Mary Ellen Whoriskey and Ann Mc Garrigle, mother-in-law Bridget Peoples and sister-in-law Theresa Peoples.

Mr McCauley will be sadly missed by his wife Nicola, daughters Makellia, Brianne and Teigan and sons Dualtach and Donnacha.

Deeply regretted by parents Brian and Bernadette, sisters Martina and her husband Jonnie, brother Daniel and partner Nathalya, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and the extended Peoples and Mc Cauley family.

Requiem Mass in St. Eunan’s Cathedral on Thursday, October 31 at 11am followed by interment in New Leck Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Elaine Boyle, Dungloe and formerly of Lettermacaward.

Ms Boyle passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18.

Sadly missed by her children, Dylan, Aesha, Freya and Ruben, her mother Rosie, partner Raymond, sisters Karen, Rachel and Claire and extended family

Predeceased by her father Michael Logue.

Wake on Thursday in Lettermacaward (F94 N8C6) from 12pm, with Rosary at 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Friday, November 1 at 12pm in St. Crona’s Church, Dungloe with private burial at a later date.

House strictly private outside of these times and morning of the funeral.
