Paddy McCrossan, Carndonagh

The peaceful death has taken place at his home, surrounded by his loving family, of Paddy McCrossan, Millbrae, Carndonagh.

Beloved husband of Rita and much-loved father of Rita (John), Paul (Mary), and Matthew (Charlotte).

Predeceased by his grandchild, Ciara, his brother, Jack and his sisters, Mona and Nellie.

Deeply regretted by his grandchildren, Emer, Aileen, Niall, Conor, Marykate, Ailbhe, Laura, Niamh, Jack, Aisling, and Danny, his great-grandson Ruaírí, his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Paddy’s remains will be reposing at his home from 5pm on Thursday where all are welcome to pay their respects.

Funeral from there on Saturday at 10.40am going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Requiem Mass can be viewed live on Carndonagh Parish, Derry Diocese, Ireland.

Family time please from 10pm to 10am.

John McDaid, Buncrana

The death has taken place of John McDaid, of 9 Lisowen Green, Buncrana, on September 29 after a prolonged illness.

John is survived by his devoted wife, Hannah; his beloved children; Sharon, Samantha, Julie, and Shaun; and his adored grandchildren; Iarlaith, Rhian, Fionn, Jack, Aine, and Hannah, along with his siblings Gerald, Kieran, Sadie, and Kathleen.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Mary’s Oratory, Buncrana on Thursday, October 2 at 10am with burial afterwards in Cockhill Cemetery.

Family flowers only please.

Kathleen Doherty, Letterkenny

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday, September 30 of Kathleen Doherty née Byrne, 15 Derryveagh Avenue, Letterkenny F92 R9WH.

Deeply missed by her loving sons Brian and Vincent, daughters Helena (Christian) and Marie (Martin), Kathleen’s partner Noel, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Mary McHugh (Strabane) and Geraldine Coyle (Letterkenny), brother Seán (Carn, Ballybofey), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Kathleen is predeceased by her husband Packie (1993), daughter Charlene (2004) and grandson Patrick (2015), brothers Vincent, Larry, Josie and Pat, and sisters Eileen, Bridget and Anne.

Kathleen’s remains will be reposing at her late residence on Thursday, October 2 from 12 noon until after the Rosary at 9pm.

Funeral from there on Friday, October 3 at 10.30am going to St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11am requiem Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny.

Interment afterwards in New Leck Cemetery, Letterkenny.

Jaqueline Doherty, Buncrana

The death has taken place in Sligo Hospital of Jacqueline Doherty, 3a Cluain Mhuire, Buncrana.

Predeceased by her loving husband Bosco.

Dear mother of Stephen (Georgina), grandmother of Ryan, Keenan and Jake Bosco, sister of Marielaine (Australia) and the late Terance, Aideen and Jacinta.

At the request of the deceased Jacqueline’s remains will repose at McLaughlin’s funeral home today, Thursday, October 2 from 12.30pm until removal at 1.45pm to St Mary’s Oratory to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass there on Friday, October 3 at 10am, with burial afterwards in Cockhill graveyard.

Kevin McCrossan, Milford and Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Kevin McCrossan, of Hillcrest Nursing Home, Letterkenny and formerly Bunlin, Milford.

Mr McCrossan passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday, September 30.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters, Liam (Eilish), Patricia (Connell), Sheila, Adrian, Celine (Seamus), nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Bridget, brother Denis and sister Bridie.

Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 2 at 11am in St Peter’s Church, Milford.

Burial afterwards in Milford Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Marion Graham, St Johns Point, Dunkineely.

Ms Graham passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, September 30.

Marion will be sadly missed by her devoted husband Robbie, daughters Cyndi (Brian), Sharon (Malcolm) and her loving grandchildren Erin and Amy, sister Caroline and brother John, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.

Funeral service in the Church of Ireland, Kilaghtee on Thursday, October 2 at 1pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

Daniel (Don) Carroll, Ballybofey

The death has occurred of Daniel (Don) Carroll, Sessiaghoneill, Ballybofey.

Mr Carroll passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday, September 29.

Much loved father of Maria, (Glynn), Amanda, Lorna, (Cathal), devoted grandfather to Don, Arron, Reece, Alana, Amy, Tara, and Michealla, (& partners), devoted great grandfather, cherished brother of Michael, Kathleen, Eunan, Sue, Shaun, and the late Eilish, Liam, and Drew.

Predeceased by his father and mother Danny and Catherine, his wife Josephine, his sons Danny and Paul.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his brother in law, sisters in law nephews, nieces, extended family, and many friends.

Funeral leaving from his late residence on Thursday, October 2 at 10.30 am for requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Sessiaghoneill at 11am.

Interment in the adjoining churchyard.

The death has occurred of Philip Brogan, Ballaghderg, Mountain Top, Letterkenny.

Mr Brogan passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday, September 29.

Deeply missed by his loving wife Mary, sons Brian (Yvonne), Martin and Ciaran (Lorraine), daughters Sinéad (Graham), Maria (Barry) and Catriona, 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, brother John and sister Margaret Crossan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Predeceased by his parents Philip and Margaret, sister Annabell Ward (2006) and brother James Anthony (1962).

Funeral from his late residence on Thursday, October 2 at 10.15am going to St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11am requiem Mass which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny.

Interment afterwards in Conwal Cemetery, Letterkenny.
