The death has occurred of Cití (Eoghan Eamoinn) Uí Ghairbheith Dobhar Uachtarach, Gweedore.

Fuair Cití Bean Uí Ghairbeith nó Cití Eoghan Eamoinn má bhfearr aithne uirthi, bás in Otharlann Leitir Ceanainn ar an 8ú Deireadh Fómhair 2024.

Ar shlí na bhfirinne roimpi tá a fear céile Éamonn Shéamais Liam, a hathair Eoghan, a máthair Sally, deartháireacha Ned, Hiúdí agus Frank, agus a deirfiúracha Maggie, Mary, Síle, Biddy agus Annie.

Maireann neachtanna agus niacha léi.

Beidh a corp ag fagáil Séipéal an tSuain i Leitir Ceanainn ag a 3 a chlog inniu, Dé Ceadaoine.

Dhéanfar í a fhaire ina teach féin i nDobhar Uachtarach agus beidh paidrín ann ar an dá oíche ag 8 a chlog.

Cuirfear í i Reilig Mhachaire Gathlan i ndiaidh aifreann a 11 a chlog i dTeach Phobail Phádraig i Mín Uí Bhaoill ar an Aoine 11ú Deireadh Fómhair.

Cóilín Ó Corrbuí, Galway, Ardara and Limerick

The death has occurred of Cóilín Ó Corrbuí, Ballygaddy Road, Tuam, Galway and formerly Ardara and Pallaskenry, Limerick.

Mr Ó Corrbuí passed away peacefully after a short illness at the Galway Hospice surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 8.

Predeceased by his parents Máirtín and Olive, his nephew Cillian and his brother-in-law Eoin Ó Carra.

Survived by his heartbroken and beloved wife Anne, his sons Brian, Conall and Cóilín Óg, daughters-in-law Diane and Kasia, his adored grandchildren Dáithí, Anna, Béibhinn and Adam, his brothers Diarmaid and Máirtín, his sisters Olivia, Aileen, Geraldine and Niamh, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass on Friday morning, October 11 at 10am, in St. Brendan’s Church Corrandulla (H91HN83), private Cremation to follow.

Mass will be live-streamed at www.churchtv.ie/corrandulla.

Briget McGinley, Burtonport

The death has occurred of Briget McGinley, The Harbour, Burtonport.

Ms Gallagher passed away peacefully in Aras Gweedore on Wednesday, October 9.

Sadly missed by her daughter Mary, granddaughter Tara, her beloved great-grandchildren Conor, Ciara and Aoife and her extended family.

Predeceased by her husband Joe and grandson Charles McDevitt.

Her remains will repose at McGlynn’s Funeral Home from 1pm today, Thursday, October 10 with Rosary at 6pm followed by removal to her home in Burtonport. Wake on Friday from 12pm, Rosary at 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 12, at 11am in St. Columba’s Church, Acres with interment in Belcruit Cemetery.

Maria Gallagher, Burtonport and Galway

The death has occurred of Maria Gallagher (née Mannion), Lr. Keadue, Burtonport and formerly Barrack Street, Dunmore, Galway.

Ms Gallagher passed away on Wednesday, October 9.

Loving wife of Patrick Gallagher (Frank) and stepmother to Declan (Lisa), Noreen (Martin) and Angela (Patrick).

Sadly missed by her beloved grandchildren and brothers Jim, Pat, Niall, Richard, Stephan and the late John Bosco.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Bridie Mannion.

Lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, grandnephews and grandnieces and a large circle of friends.

Wake in her home today, Thursday from 11am to 10pm.

Funeral will take place on Friday at 11am in St. Mary’s Chapel, Kincasslagh folllowed by interment at Belcruit Cemetery.

Derry Begley, England and Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Derry Begley, Bristol, England formerly of Erne Street, Ballyshannon.

Mr Begley passed away at his home in Bristol on Monday, October 7.

He is predeceased by his father Peter and sadly missed by his mother April, sisters Liz and Claire, aunt Delia Pender (Ballyshannon), uncle Paddy Begley (Derry), uncle Anthony Begley (Ballyshannon), extended family and friends.

Cremation is to take place in England, with final resting place in Kilbannon Cemetery, Tuam, Co. Galway.

Ron Smith 10 Rossaor Cottages, Ballyliffin, Clonmany

The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Ron Smith, 10 Rossaor Cottages, Ballyliffin, Clonmany, F93V6P7.

Beloved Husband of Margaret Smith (Doherty).

Sadly missed by his sister in-law Mary Doherty, nieces, nephews, friends and the wider family circle.

His remains will be going to Lakeland Crematorium, Co Cavan today, Thursday, October 10 for private cremation.

Moria Maria Wilson, 9 Caw Park, Limavady Road

The death has taken place of Moria Maria Wilson, (nee Campbell).

Peacefully at Ardlough Care Home (surrounded by her loving family).

Dearly beloved wife of the late Dessie, much loved mum of Peter and Heather, loving mother-in-law of Denis, adored granny of Adam, great-granny of Brody, dearest sister of May, Joan, Alan and the late Sadie, Jimmy, Betty and Sylvia.

Service of Thanksgiving in her late home 9, Caw Park, Limavady Road today, Thursday, October 10 at 12pm followed by burial in Ballyoan Cemetery.

Neil Crawford, Burt

7th October 2024 peacefully at his home, Oakleaves Care Centre, 42 Racecourse Road and formerly of Burt, Co. Donegal.

Beloved son of the late Bridget and Johnny Crawford and brother of Sean, Cathal, Cecilia, Pauline and the late Bobby and Agnes.

Will be sadly missed by all his family, friends and staff at Oakleaves Care Centre and caring beloved friend Pauline.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St Brigid’s Church, Carnhill today, Thursday at 10am.

Interment afterwards in St Aengus’ cemetery, Burt.

John Doherty, Rockfield terrace, Buncrana

The death has taken place in Carndonagh Hospital of John Doherty (Copper) 3 Rockfield Terr, Buncrana.

Son of the late John and Rose (R.I.P.), brother of Mary McLaughlin (Alex) and the late Pat (R.I.P.) (Rosemary) sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews wider family circle and friends.

Funeral from his late residence today, Thursday, October 10 at 10.20 a.m. going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

House Private from 11pm to 10am.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Carndonagh Community Hospital Patients Care Fund.

Bridget Mangan, Dublin and Killybegs

The death has occurred of Bridget Mangan (née Ward), Malahide Dublin and formerly Killybegs.

Ms Mangan passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Beaumont Hospital on Saturday, October 5.

Very sadly missed by her daughter Catherine, sons John, Stephen and Patrick, son-in-law Des, daughters-in-law Liz and Orla, her adored grandchildren, Claire, Mark, Vineeta, Adam, Jack, Max, Zac and Toby, sisters Suzanne and Phyllis, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Removal to St Sylvester’s Church, Malahide this morning, Thursday for 11am Funeral Mass followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.
