Thomas Harley, Quigley’s Point

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Thomas Harley, Clunelly, Quigley’s Point.
Predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Gretta, his sister, Cecilia and brother-in-law, George.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sister, Elizabeth, brothers, Billy and Denis, sisters-in-law, Mary K and Claire, niece and nephews, Michelle, Daniel, George and Lee, extended family circle, friends and neighbours.
Thomas’s remains will leave Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh F93 E4FN on Thursday at 1pm, going to the home of his sister, Elizabeth, (F93 Y0YX) where you are all welcome to pay your respects.
Funeral from there on Saturday, November 8 at 10.20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Columba’s Church, Drung, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
Family time from 10pm to 11am.

Neil Charlie Boyle, Portnoo

The death has occurred of Neil Charlie Boyle, Loughfad, Portnoo.

Mr Boyle passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 1.

Neil will be forever loved and missed by his heartbroken family, Mam and Dad Charlie and Mary, his dear sister Fiona (Aidan) and cherished nephews Danny and Tommy, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Neil’s remains will repose at the family home F94XK30 on Thursday, November 6 from 11am until 8pm.

Parking at The Dolmen Centre F94DN83.

Shuttle bus in operation to the wake house.

House strictly private to family only after 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Friday, November 7 at 12 noon in St Connell’s Church, Glenties with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Nicholas Mooney, Killybegs

The death has occurred of Nicholas Mooney, Lough Head, Killybegs.

Mr Mooney passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by his family on Monday, November 3.

Predeceased by his parents Charles and Margaret, sister Margaret, brothers Cathal, Michael, Benny and Pat.

Dearly missed by his son John, daughter in law Courtney, grandson Patrick, brother Tommy Mooney, sisters Carmel Murchan and Bridie O’Neill, sisters in law, brother in law and all the extended family.

Reposing at McBrearty’s Funeral Home, Killybegs on Thursday from 5pm – 7.30pm.

Removal on Friday morning, November 7 for 11am funeral Mass in St Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs followed by burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Killybegs Community Hospital, care of McBrearty Funeral Directors.

George Gethins, Lifford

The death has occurred of George Gethins, 4 The Cottages, Curraghalane, Co Donegal and formerly of Jinks Avenue, Co Sligo.

Dearly loved husband of Angela, much loved father of Trevor (Joanne), Conor (Rebecca), Alan (Emma) and David, devoted grandfather of Cillian, Oisin, Finlay, Louie, Freya, Hannah, Ben, Isla and Áda, beloved son of the late Mary and George Gethins and brother of Jacinta, Catherine, John, Damien, Melanie, Hillary and the late Carl.

Remains reposing at his home.

Funeral leaving his home on Friday, November 7 at 12.45pm for requiem Mass in St Patrick`s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 1.30pm.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and family circle.

Donations in lieu of flowers please to the Oncology Unit, Letterkenny University Hospital c/o Quigley Funeral Directors, Newtown Place, Strabane.

Breege (Bridie) Gavin, Galway and Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Breege (Bridie) Gavin (née Donagher), Gortadooey, Claregalway, Co Galway and formerly of Cashelard, Ballyshannon, Co Donegal.

Ms Gavin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 3.

Predeceased by her husband Brendan and son Sean.

Sadly missed by her daughters kathorina (John) and Brenda (Brian), and her adored grandchildren, her brothers Sean, Pete, Michael and sisters Mary Feighery, Rita Prendergast, Doreen McGee, Bernie Garrett, Ann Gallagher, nieces, nephews and all extended family and friends.

Funeral Mass on Thursday, November 6 at 11am in the church of the Assumption and St James, Claregalway with burial afterwards in Claregalway Cemetery.

Joe Shields, Carrigart

The death has occurred of Joe Shields, Carrigart.

Mr Shields passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday, November 3.

Dearly missed by his loving wife Margaret his children Brendan, Seamus (Danni) , Susan (Pete), Elaine (Patrick) , Declan (Sharon), Joey(Mary), Aidan (Chrissie), and Micheal, his sisters Patsy mc Fadden, Eileen Sweeny and Kathleen Bane and his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his infant Son Danny sisters Nancy Mc Clafferty, Bridget Connor, Susan Curran and his daughter in-law Maura.

Funeral from his late residence on Thursday morning going to St John the Baptist Church, Carrigart for 11 am funeral Mass with burial afterwards in Carrigart Cemetery, family time please from 10 pm to 12 noon and on the morning of the funeral, family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the friends of Letterkenny Hospital C/O any family member or Joe Logue Funeral Director.

A shuttle bus will be in operation from the chapel Carpark in Carrigart both evenings from 5 pm.

Jimmy Ó Dochartaigh, Bunbeg

The death has occurred of Jimmy Ó Dochartaigh, Knockastolar, Bunbeg and formerly of Carraig a’ Choill, Ranafast.

Mr Ó Dochartaigh passed away at his home on Monday, November 4.

Predeceased by his wife Bella, parents; Charlie and Rosie Doherty, sisters; Bridie Doody, Rose Murray, Kathleen Kiely and brother Tony Doherty.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughters; Roseleen McGarvey (Cormac) and Margaret McBride (Neil), sons; Cathal Doherty and Séimi Doherty (Eileen), sister Maureen Greene (Donnchadh), brother Hughie Doherty (Sheila), grandchildren; Danny, Rosie & Leah McGarvey, Jimí McBride, Noah Doherty, Eoghan O’Neill, Jay and Hollie Doherty and extended family and friends.

Funerral Mass will take place on Thursday, November 6 in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Annagry at 12 noon, burial afterwards in the new graveyard, Annagry.

Norman Jervis, Mountcharles

The death has occurred of Norman Jervis, Doorin Lane, Mountcharles.

Mr Jervis passed away peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 3.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Hazel, daughter Karen (Declan), son David (Brenda), grandchildren, Abbie, Jordan, Rhyss, Jamie and Jorja, sister Ann (Harry), brother Victor (Anna – RIP), nieces, nephews and extended family.
Predeceased by his sister Gladys.

Removal from his late residence on Thursday, November 6 going to St John’s Church, Inver, for funeral service at 2pm, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

House strictly private on the morning of the funeral.

Partrick Bartholomew Flanagan, Fermanagh, Dublin and Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Patrick Bartholomew Flanaghan, of Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh, Dublin City, Co Dublin and Ballyshannon, Co Donegal.

Mr Flanaghan passed away suddenly on Monday, November 3.

He is sadly missed by his loving son’s, Gareth (Ciara) Stephen (Kayleigh) and Darren, loving brother of Valentine O’Kelly and Caroline Kelly, devoted grandfather to his many grandchildren.

Barry’s remains will repose at Ballycassidy House Funeral Home, 101 Killadeas Road, Ballinamallard, BT94 2ES on Thursday, November 6 from 5pm to 8pm.

All are welcome to meet the family.

A celebration of Barrys life will take place at Ballycassidy House Funeral Home on Friday, November 7 at 1pm, with burial at Breandrum cemetery, Tempo Road, Enniskillen, BT74 6GZ
