Michael Joseph Lynch, Ardara

The death has occurred of Michael Joseph Lynch, Brackey, Ardara and formerly of Cootehill, Co Cavan.

Mr Lynch passed away peacefully after an illness borne with dignity and courage in the presence of his family on Wednesday, November 26.

Beloved and devoted husband and best friend of Christine, loving and much loved father of Gráinne, Kieran and Edward.

Michael will forever be loved by his wife, sons and daughter, son in law Niall, daughters in law Maeve and Eszter, his adored grandchildren Niamh, Fiona, Daniel, Éanna, Rebecca, Moya, Marcus and Liam.

Reposing at McCabe’s funeral home Ardara F94VCK1 Thursday, November 27 from 4pm till 10pm.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, November 29 in the church of the Holy family Ardara at 12 noon burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Galway Hospice.

Anthony ‘Con’ Gallagher, Frosses

The death has occurred of Anthony ‘Con’ Gallagher, Meenagran, Frosses.

Mr Gallagher passed away peacefully in London on Tuesday, November 18.

Anthony is predeceased by his wife Freddie and his siblings Connie, Kathleen, Marie and Patrick.

Sadly missed by his beloved sons Anthony (Catherine) and John and is also survived by his loving grandchildren Catriona, Conal, Ryan, Maeve and Eamonn, his siblings Theresa, Margaret and Agnes, many nieces and nephews and wide circle of friends in Ireland and the UK.

Mass in the UK at St Anthony’s Church, Edgware, London on Wednesday, December 3 at 6pm.

Anthony’s remains will arrive at The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Frosses, at 6pm on Friday, December 5 for reception prayers and to repose overnight. Requiem Mass on Saturday, December 6 at 11 o’clock, with interment immediately afterwards in the Church Graveyard.

John Flanigan, Annagry

The death has occurred of John Flanigan, Culacrick, Annagry and formerly of Whiterock, Belfast.

Mr Flanigan passed away at the Donegal Hospice on Wednesday, November 26.

Predeceased by his wife; Dr Anne P. O’ Donoghue and father John Flanigan Senior.

Sadly missed by his daughter Alice, son David, mother Annie Flanigan, sister Karen (Gerry), brothers; Paul (Jeanie) and Brian (Máire) and extended family & friends.

His remains will repose at his home in Culacrick (F94 Y3Y4) on Thursday from 3pm to 8pm and on Friday from 1pm to 8pm.

John’s cremation will take place at Roselawn Crematorium Belfast on Saturday, November 29 at 11.20am.

Seán Donnelly, Dublin and Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Seán Donnelly, Milltown, Dublin 6 and formerly of Cathedral Place, Letterkenny.

Mr Donnelly passed away peacefully at St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin on Wednesday, November 26.

Deeply missed by his loving sisters Marie Kelly (Dublin), Frances Hughes (Dave) (Dublin), brother Leo (Sharon) (Letterkenny), nieces, nephew and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours in Dublin and Letterkenny.

Seán is predeceased by his wife Eilish, parents Frank and Eilís, sisters’ baby Elaine, Sue Lynch and Greta.

Seán’s remains will be reposing at his brother Leo’s residence at Cathedral Place, Letterkenny F92 RWK7 on Thursday, November 27 from 1pm until 10pm with Rosary at 9pm.

Funeral on Friday, November 28 in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny at 11am and can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny.

Interment afterwards in New Leck Cemetery, Letterkenny.

Paul McSorley, 61 Lawnsdale, Navenny, Ballybofey

The death has occurred of Paul McSorley, 61 Lawnsdale, Navenny, Ballybofey.

Paul will be lovingly missed by his wife Fiona; his sons Chad (Aoibhinn), Dean, and Luca (Amy); his parents Patrick and Kathleen; his brothers and sisters Martin, Patricia, Christopher, and Amanda; and his late siblings Jim and baby Mary.

He will be deeply regretted by his mother-in-law, father-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and all his extended family and friends.
He is predeceased by his brother Jim and baby sister Mary.

May they all rest in peace.

A silent thought, a quiet prayer, for a special person in God’s care.

Paul will be reposing at his late residence on Thursday, November 27, from 12pm to 10pm and Friday, November 28, from 12pm to 10pm.

The funeral cortege will leave his residence on Saturday, November 29 at 10.30am for 11am requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Sessiaghoneill, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Robert James Moore, Carndonagh

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Robert James Moore, Brookfield, Riversdale, Carndonagh, surrounded by his loving family.

He will be sadly missed and forever loved by his wife, Kathleen, his son; Wilson (Sharon), daughters; Elaine (Wesley), Carolyn (James), Jacqueline (Mark), Kathryn (Mark), Vivienne, (Stephan), Adeline (Neil), and Heather (Colm), and his twenty-five grandchildren, and his two great-grandchildren, as well as his extended family and friends.

Robert’s remains are reposing at home today, Thursday from 11am to 9pm on both days, where you are all welcome to pay your respects.

Funeral from there on Friday, November 28 at 1.40pm for 2pm Funeral Service in Hillhead Presbyterian Church.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary Aloysius Bonner, Lackenagh, Burtonport

The death has occurred of Mary Aloysius Bonner (née Sweeney), Lackenagh, Burtonport, on Tuesday, November 25.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Aloysius,beloved Mother and grandmother.

She leaves behind her sons Shane and Garrett, daughters-in-law Evelyn and Olive, grandchildren,Cillian, Rebeeca, Ciaran, Eli, Hannah and Luke. Mary will be sadly missed by her siblings, Paddy, Terence, Anne, Margaret, Kevin and their families.

Removal on Thursday to McGlynn’s Funeral Home Dungloe (F94 ND68) with reposing from 4pm to 8pm followed by removal to St Columba’s Church to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am followed by burial afterwards in Belcruit.

Thomas (Tom) Barry, Bundoran

Tom (Thomas) Barry passed away on 21st November, peacefully, surrounded by his family.

Tom, from Bundoran, living in Clondalkin, Dublin, will be forever loved and missed by his children, Laura, Thomas, Donna and their Mam Annie, his adored grandchildren Michael and Ryan and their Mam Giulia, his brothers and sisters Martin, Peter, Pat, Lucy, Breege, Carmel, his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

He will be lovingly welcomed by his predeceased mother Margaret (born Hughes), father Thomas, brothers and sisters, Brendan, Kevin, Liam, James, Mary, Joseph, relatives and friends.

May Tom’s soul rest in peace.

Tom’s memorial service will take place at the Maldron Hotel, Tallaght, in Shannon Suite 2 on Thursday, November 27 at 2pm. 10 days after his 78th birthday.

After the service we will have refreshments in the Maldron Hotel Bar.

Donations, if you would like, could go to Our Ladies Hospice https://olh.ie , who were exceptionally kind and caring to Tom up to, and during, his short stay, and kindly supportive to his family as Tom passed away.

Ellen McCrory, The Cross Killygordon

The death has occurred of Ellen McCrory (née Gallen).

Ellen, late of Finglas East, formerly The Cross Killygordon, passed away on Saturday, November 22 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Ellen will be very sadly missed and remembered always by her husband Tom, children Martina, Carl, Jason and Tom, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at home on Thursday, November 27 from 2pm to 6pm.

Removal on Friday morning to St Canice’s Church, Finglas Village, arriving at 9.50am for requiem Mass at 10am followed by Cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium.
