The death has occurred of Seamus (Jimmy) McHugh, Westport, Ballyshannon and formerly of Finner Camp and Tuam, Galway.

Mr McHugh passed away peacefully in the exceptional and gentle care of the staff of Sligo University Hospital, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity on Tuesday, January 28.

Beloved brother of Maura Wilcox, John, Noreen Mullin, Josephine Loughrey, Noel, Gerry, Brendan, Therese Schmidt and Paul. Pre-deceased by his parents Theresa and Seán McHugh and nephew John.

Seamus will be sadly missed by his sisters and brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, friends and neighbours.

Requiem Mass at 10am at St Joseph’s Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon, F94 PF53 on Friday, January 31 followed by burial at Tuam Cemetery at approximately 3pm.

James Crossan, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of James Crossan, Knocknamona, Letterkenny and formerly Churchill.

Mr Crossan passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday, January 28.

He is deeply regretted by his sons Mick (Michael) and wife Eileen, James (Bernie), Martin (Carmel) and John, daughters Marian Heraghty (Hughie), Anne Cannon (Charlie) and Geraldine Doherty (Cathal) and their mother Nellie, brothers Paddy (Canada), John (Nan) Longford, sisters Bridget McCool (Alfie) Letterkenny, Jenny Bradley (Letterkenny) and Kathleen Travers (Omagh), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends

Reposing at his son’s Mick (Michael) and Eileen’s residence, Knocknamona (F92 PN2H) today, Thursday, January 30 from 12 noon to 9pm concluding with Rosary at 9pm.

Funeral from there on Friday, January 31, going to St Eunan’s Cathedral for 11am Requiem Mass, which can be viewed live on the link www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny followed by burial in the family plot in Conwal Cemetery.

Mary O Donnell, Kilcar

The death has occurred of Mary O Donnell, Kilcar and formerly Dublin and New York.

Ms O Donnell passed away peacefully in her 92nd year surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 27.

Beloved partner to the late Michael Tierney and the late John Duckworth and much loved mother of Richard and Donnacha.

She will be greatly missed by her brother Sean, daughter-in-laws Lara and Diana, grandchild Violet, nephews and nieces Adrian, Peter, Danny, Michael, Mary, Sheila, Roisin, Mary, Patrick, Brendan and Danny, as well as her extended family and many great friends.

Especially Patricia Conlon, Betty Burns, Maebeth Martin, Valerie Hemingway and Mary Pat Kelly.

A special and grateful thanks to Dr Charles Bourke and to Joy, Lorraine, Carole and all the staff at Harbour Lights Nursing Home and Killybegs Community Hospital.

Arriving at St Cartha’s Church, Kilcar (F94KA07) on Thursday, January 30 for 1pm requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Flowers welcome or donations in lieu to a chosen charity, care of any family member.

Patrick (Paddy) McGill, Waterford and Lifford

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) McGill, Orchardstown, Butlerstown, Waterford and formerly of Cavan, Lifford.

Mr McGill passed away peacefully in University Hospital Waterford surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, January 28.

He is predeceased by his beloved parents John and Cassie; his sister Pauline; and his brother Conal.

Paddy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Susan; his loving children Michelle, Jodi and Chris; his adoring grandchildren Ryan, Nova, Tria and Jude; his brothers and sisters Mary, Ann, Sean, Kathleen, Gerard, Brigid, and Gabriel; and his sons-in-law James and Stephen.

He will be forever missed by all his nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives, wonderful neighbours, and many many friends.

Paddy’s family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff in University Hospital Waterford for the exceptional care and kindness Paddy received throughout his illness.

Paddy will be reposing at his residence in Orchardstown, Butlerstown X91W0D8, on Thursday, January 30 from 4pm to 7pm.

Please be advised to take care with traffic in the area due to a busy junction, traffic cones will be in place.

Paddy’s Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, January 31 at 2pm in St. Mary’s Church, Butlerstown, Co Waterford.

Máire Kate Campbell, Glenties

The death has occurred of Máire Kate Campbell (née McHugh), Meenvale,Glenties.

Ms Campbell passed away on Tuesday, January 28.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Charlie, daughter baby Ann and brother, Eddie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Sarah (Willie), Bridie (John), Máire (Peadar) and sons Peter, Mickey (Lucy), Gerard, Charlie (Bernie) and Connie (Clare), sister Sarah and brothers John and Laurence.

Remains reposing at her home.

Requiem Mass at 1.30 pm on Friday, January 31, in The Church of The Holy Family, Edeninfagh, with burial afterwards in the local Cemetery.

Rosary nightly at 9 pm.

A one way system will be in operation with entry via Dinny’s and exit through Meenavale.

Kacper Dudek, Lifford and formerly Poland

The death has occurred of Kacper Dudek, 18 Beechwood Park, Lifford and formerly of Brody, Poland.

Mr Dudek passed away tragically as a result of Storm Éowyn.

Dearly loved son of Artur and Katarzyna Dudek, much loved brother of Karol and Weronika and loving boyfriend of Molly.

Funeral leaving his home on Thursday, January 30 at 9.45am for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 10.30am.

Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken mum, dad, brother, sister, girlfriend and family circle.

Family time please from 10pm to 12 noon.

 Michael Fox, Garrison and Ballyshannon

The death has taken place of Michael Fox, known as Mickey, Slasgarrow, Garrison, Co. Fermanagh and formally Sminver, Ballyshannon.

Mickey passed away in the exceptional care of nurses and staff of South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen surrounded by his loving family.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s at 12 Noon on Thursday, January 30 with service of interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Karen Connolly, Sligo and Bundoran

The death has occurred of Karen Connolly (née Johes), Castlegal, Co. Sligo and formerly of Drumacrin Ave, Bundoran.

She died on Friday, unexpectedly at home.

Beloved mother of the late Rachel and daughter of the late George and Sarah Jones. Karen will be forever loved and sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, Bernard, her son, daughters, brother, sisters, nieces, nephews and all her relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal on Thursday afternoon, January 30 at 2pm to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of Resurrection at 2.30pm.

Removal afterwards to St. Ninnidh’s Cemetery, Newtown Rd, Bundoran for burial service.
