Mary McGoldrick, Leitrim and Inver

The death has occurred of Mary McGoldrick (née McGeever), Clooneen Park, Manorhamilton, Leitrim and formerly of Main Street, Manorhamilton and Inver.

Ms McGoldrick passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 28.

Predeceased by her husband Jack.

Sadly missed by her daughters Alice and Ger, sons in law Eamonn and Pat, grandchildren Cianna, Niamh, Diarmaid, Bebhinn, Sadhbh and Aoife, great grandchildren Jack and Nessa, sisters Eilis and Bernadette, many nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home on Friday evening from 4pm to 8pm with removal on Saturday morning to St. Clare’s Church, Manorhamilton for 12noon funeral Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Alone.

House private outside of reposing times please.

Thomas Mc Auley, Lifford

The death has occurred of Thomas Mc Auley, Glencush, Lifford.

Mr Mc Auley passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 27.

He will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, wider family circle and many friends.

Remains reposing at his late residence.

Funeral from his home on Friday, May 30 at 1.15pm for 2pm Service of Thanksgiving in Clonleigh Church of Ireland (St. Lugadius) Lifford followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Family time only on the morning of the funeral.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Clonleigh Church of Ireland (St. Lugadius) Lifford care of Gillian Graham or any family member.

Michael (Mick) Dunne, Bundoran and Offaly

The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) Dunne, Drumacrin Road, East End, Bundoran and formerly of Mucklagh, Tullamore, Offaly.

Mr Dunne passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of all at Sligo University Hospital on Tuesday, May 27.

Predeceased by Rose Dunne, his beloved son David and daughter-in-law Tanya (née O’Shea).

Mick will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving family sons Niall (Louise), Rory (Tanya RIP), daughters Claire (James), Regina and Eimear (Thomas Wilmott RIP), his beloved grandchildren Aaron, Ruby, Riain and Adam, his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Breslin’s Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran (F94E92F) on Thursday, May 29 from 2pm to 8pm. All welcome.
Removal from his late residence at 10.15am on Friday, May 30 to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am.

Removal afterwards to St. Ninnidh’s Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran, for burial service.

Margaret Ann Bowers, UK and Ballintra

The death has occurred of Margaret Ann Bowers (née Feeney), Chesterfield, UK and formerly Ballintra.

Ms Bowers passed away peacefully in the care of the staff of Ashgate House Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, May 26.

Predeceased by the parents, Michael and Kathleen, brothers, Aidan and Michéal, sister Mary and son-in-law, Richard.

Sadly missed by her devoted husband Geoff, her beloved daughter, Grainne, granddaughters, Ciara and Aoife, sister-in-law Kay, brother, Padraig, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral arrangements to be announced later.

Francie Murphy, Donegal Town and Leitrim

The death has occurred of Francie Murphy, 15 O’Maolchonaire Avenue, Donegal Town and formerly Kilbeggan, Westmeath and Kinlough, Leitrim.

Mr Murphy passed away peacefully in Donegal Community Hospital on Monday, May 26.

Predeceased by his loving wife Nora, sons Charlie and Kevin, daughter Sharon.

Sadly missed by his sons Francis, Michael(Teresa) Kilbeggan, Co Westmeath, Mark, daughter’s Bernie McGloin (Mark), Kinlough, Caroline, Tracy, Debora Ann-Marie, Eileen, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Killymard with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining, cemetery.

Family flowers only.

Donations if so desired to Donegal Community Hospital patient comfort fund in memory of Francie, care of any family member or Faulkner.

Jimmy McBride, Cavan and Downings

The death has occurred of Jimmy McBride, 9 Drumlin Crest, Cootehill, Cavan and formerly Dooey, Downings.

Mr McBride passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his caring family in his 92nd year on Monday, May 26.

Predeceased by his dear wife Eilish (2005).

Jimmy will be dearly missed and forever loved by his family, his daughters Aundrey (Brendan) and Vanessa (Hugh), his sons James (Cora) and Donnacha (Marie), his adored grandchildren Odhrán, Eilisha, Aisling, Aodh J, Cillian, Aoibheann, Shauna and Mollie, his dog Jack, sister-in-law Breda, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Also predeceased by his parents Denis and Bridget McBride, his siblings Eddie and Mary (Downings).

Removal leaving his home on Thursday morning at 11.30am to arrive at St. Michael’s Church, Cootehill for 12noon funeral Mass, followed by burial in St. Michael’s cemetery, Cootehill.

Family flowers only please donations in lieu, if desired, can be made to Cootehill Men’s Shed c/o Mullen’s Funeral Directors or any family member.

Nora Higgins, Sligo and Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Nora Higgins (née Mundy), Cloonfin, Tonaphubble, Sligo and formerly of Clar, Donegal Town.

Ms Higgins passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the great care of the doctors, nurses and staff at University Hospital Galway on Sunday, May 25.

Beloved wife of Noel and dear mother of Ciarán, David, Catherine and Emer.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, sons, daughters, daughters-in-law Rachel and Elaine, sons-in-law Conor and David, grandchildren Ciara, Aoíbhe, Áine, Anna, Emmet, Ella and Maeve, brothers and sisters Seamus, Mary, Liam, Eileen, P.J. , Kathleen, Sheila, Bernie, Kevin and Imelda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral will arrive to St. Anne’s Church, Sligo on Thursday, May 29 at 11am for requiem Mass with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery for burial after.
