The sudden death has occurred of Robert Elliott, 30 Railway Park, Donegal Town, F94 H3E9, and formerly of Farrigans, Leitir, Co Donegal.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Veronica, daughter Kelly, her partner Kenny, son Keelin and all the extended Elliott and McCready families.

Reposing in Tir Conaill Funeral Home, Drumrooske, Donegal Town, F94 FX3A on Friday, June 20 from 2pm to 9pm.

Reposing at his late residence on Saturday, June 21 from 2pm to 9pm.

Funeral Service in Donegal Parish Church at 2.30pm on Sunday, June 22, followed by burial in the Glebe Cemetery, Donegal Town.

House strictly private on the morning of the funeral please.

John Lee, Dublin and Ballyshannon

The death has taken place of John Lee, retired Detective Garda, Richmond Hill, Rathmines, Dublin 6 and formerly of Ballyshannon.

Peacefully surrounded by his family in the tender care of the staff of St. Vincent’s University Hospital.

Predeceased by his father John.

Adored husband of Fiona, loving and much-loved father of Ciara and John, and beloved son of Roisin.

John will be forever loved and dearly missed by his wife and children, his mother, brothers, sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Massey Bros Funeral Home, Templeogue Village on Friday afternoon, June 20 from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of Our Lady Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines arriving for 10 am requiem Mass followed by Cremation Service at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.

Gerry Gallagher, Carndonagh

The peaceful death has taken place at his home of Gerry Gallagher, 6 Bayview, Carndonagh.

Beloved husband of Jacinta and much-loved son of Madge.

Predeceased by his father Andy.

Dear father of Andrew, Lucinda and Shaunagh.

Sadly missed by his sisters Eileen and Ann.

Deeply regretted by his grandchildren Andrew, Caoimhe, Patrick, Grace and Liam, his daughter-in-law Laura, son-in-law Paddy, extended family, friends and neighbours.

His remains will be reposing at his home from 12 pm today, Thursday, where all are welcome to pay their respects.

Removal from there on Saturday at 10:30 am to the Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh for 11 am Requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Barney Carr, Carrigart

The death has occurred of Barney Carr, Upper Carrigart.

Mr Carr passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Leaving Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny this evening, Thursday, June 19 at 7 pm going to the Church of St John the Baptist to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Friday, June 20 at 11am followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Maura McFadden, Ramelton

The death has occurred of Maura McFadden (née Friel), Bridge End, Ramelton.

Ms McFadden passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 17.

Deeply regretted by her loving family Margaret, John, Joseph and Jennifer, brother Joe, son-in-law Michael, daughter-in-law Noleen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her husband William.

Reposing at her home.

Requiem Mass on Friday, June 20 at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Ramelton.

Dara McDermott, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Dara McDermott, Calhame, Letterkenny.

Ms McDermott passed away peacefully after a short illness in Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday, June 17.

Deeply regretted by her adored daughter Eimear, loving parents Paddy and Gabrielle, sister Patricia, brothers James and Karl, brother-in-law Kilian, sisters-in-law Edelle and Janie, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at the residence of her parents Paddy and Gabrielle McDermott, Calhame, Letterkenny, F92 REH0.

Requiem Mass on Friday, June 20 at 11am in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny. Burial afterwards in New Leck Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Mary Gallagher (née Hegarty), 292 Coolatee, Lifford.

Ms Gallagher passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 17.

Predeceased by her husband Charlie.

Missed by her family and brothers Thomas and John and sister in law Eileen.

Funeral on Thursday, June 19 at 1.20 pm for requiem Mass at 2 pm in St Patrick’s Church, Murlog.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

Norita O’Boyle, Ballyraine

The death has occurred of Norita O’Boyle (née Galvin), Ballyraine, Letterkenny and formerly Dunkineely.

Ms O’Boyle passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday, June 17.

Predeceased by her husband Brendan and infant child and sisters Mary and Cathleen.

Sadly missed by her children Susan, Michael, Ann, Noreen, Maeve and Rory, sisters and brothers Michael, Joan, Ethna, Seamus and Sally, sister in law Marita, brother in law Eugene, grandchildren Michael and Kelly, James, Emer, Helen and Rory, James, Afraic, Hannah and Mary, Kate, Sean, Meabh and Tom, Tom, Matthew, Sarah, Peter and William, sons-in-law Connie, David, Tony and James and partners Adem and Carmel, grandson-in-law Barry.

The death has occurred of Margaret Monagle, Letterorr, Malin.

Ms Monagle passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 17.

Predeceased by her loving husband Packie and much loved mother of Bernie (Paddy), Anne (Mark) and Brendan (Anne). Deeply regretted by her grandchildren Ciara, Aisling, Conor, Niamh, Sarah, Donal and Aine, her great-grandchildren Roán and Dáire, her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Removal on Thursday at 1.30pm to St Mary’s Church, Lagg for 2pm requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Roseanna Mc Aleer, Ballybofey

The death has occurred of Roseanna Mc Aleer (née Quinn), 271 Ard Mac Carron, Ballybofey.

Ms Mc Aleer passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in the Donegal Hospice in Letterkenny surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, June 17.

Predeceased by her parents Frank and Delia Quinn, brother Cathal, sister Martina (Peter) and her late husband Jim.

Much loved and will be sadly missed by her daughter Cora Harvey, son- in-law Brian, grandchildren Dean (Aine) and Náomh.

Roseanna will be forever remembered and loved by her brother Sean (Kathleen), Frankie (Margaret) Paul (Breda), Sisters Marie (Barney), Kathleen (Davog), Delia (Gerry) and Bridgeen, her dear friend John, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff in LUH, ED, the staff in Medical 3, Hillcrest, St Eunan’s and the wonderful staff in the Donegal Hospice.

A special word of gratitude to the paramedic staff of Donegal Ambulance services and the home help services for all your kindness and help.

Eternally grateful to mums wonderful neighbours and friends in Ard McCarron and the Donegal Road.

Funeral leaving from there on Thursday, June 19 at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate Stranorlar at 11am.

Interment in St Mary’s Churchyard Sessiaghoneill.

The death has occurred of Kay Shovlin (née Maguire), Bruckless and formerly of Carrickacleave, Ardara.

Ms Shovlin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, June 16.

Predeceased by her beloved daughter Yvonne and her siblings Packie, Mary, James and Conal.

Sadly missed by her loving husband Pete, sons Emmet (Laura) and Mark (Grace), and her adored granddaughters Cassie and Maggie.

Also missed by her sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Removal from her late residence to the Church of St Conal and Joseph, Bruckless on Thursday, June 19 for funeral Mass at 11am.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Billy (Dublin Billy) Mulhall, Donegal Town and Dublin

The death has occurred of Billy (Dublin Billy) Mulhall, 18 Mill Race Cresent, Drumrooske, Donegal Town and formerly of Swords, Dublin.

Mr Mulhall passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Monday, June 16.

Much loved father to Tony (Tricia), Shaun (Bridget), Kevin (Helen), Tina (Phil) and Rachel (Craig).

Forever remembered by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

There will be a Mass for Billy in St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town on Thursday at 10am with funeral proceeding to Rocks Funeral Home, North Street, Swords, Co Dublin.

Funeral Mass on Friday, June 20 at 10am in St Sylvester’s Church, Malahide, followed by burial afterwards in Malahide Cemetery, Yellow Walls Road.

Seán Grant, Newtowncunningham

The death has occurred of Seán Grant, Moneymore, Newtowncunningham.

Mr Grant passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Sunday, June 15.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Mary, sons Michael (Laura-Ann), John (Elaine), Kevin (Orla), Anthony (Melanie) and Liam (Éadáoin), daughters Kathleen and Rita, grandchildren, sisters Máighread McGonagle (Carndonagh) and Mary Grant-Folan (Galway), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Seán is predeceased by his parents Michael and Brigid, brother Liam, sister Maeve Doherty (Tipperary) and grandchildren Aaron and Amelia.

Funeral at 11am on Thursday, June 19 in All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/newtowncunningham.

Interment afterwards in St Columba’s Church Cemetery, Drumoghill.
