The sudden death has taken place at Altnagelvin Hospital of Martha McConnellogue (née Dougal), Ballyratten, Redcastle, F93 XT63.

Beloved wife of Colm and much-loved mother of Laura (Edward).

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sister Mary, brothers Raymond and Gerard, and nieces and nephews.

May Martha Rest In Peace.

Martha’s remains will repose at her home.

Funeral from there on Friday, June 13 at 10.15 am for 11 am funeral Mass in St Columba’s Church, Drung followed by interment at Sacred Heart Church, Muff.

Mary Blaney, Fanad

The peaceful death has taken place in the Donegal Hospice of Mary Blaney, Rosskirk, Fanad.

Beloved wife of William and much loved mother of sons John and Stephen and daughter Margaret.

Viewing this evening, Thursday, from 5pm to 8pm in the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny.

Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon in St. Columba’s Church, Massmount, Fanad, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Patrick Joseph (P.J.) McCullagh, Letterkenny and Tyrone

The death has occurred of Patrick Joseph (P.J.) McCullagh, Letterkenny and Tyrone.

Mr McCullagh passed away peacefully in the wonderful and compassionate care of the staff of Archview Lodge Nursing Home, Drumany, Letterkenny on Tuesday, June 3.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Alice McCullagh, twin brother Sean and sister Maeve.

Beloved father of Nathaniel and Siobhan.

Sadly missed by his family, children, sister Nuala (McSherry), devoted grandfather of Rory, Mia, Edith and Felicity, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and the wide family circle.

Funeral Mass on Friday, June 13 at 11am in St Patrick’s Church , 11, Chapel Lane, Gortin, Omagh, Co Tyrone (BT79 8ND), followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Angela Buckley, Newtowncunningham

The death has occurred of Angela Buckley (née Robb), 19 Westfield, Newtowncunningham.

Ms Buckley passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Tuesday, June 10.

Deeply missed by her sister-in-law Chrissie Robb, her very close nieces and nephews of Drumbuoy and Newtowncunningham, step-son and three step-daughters (Sutton, Dublin), five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a wide circle of family and friends in Donegal, Dublin, Derry, Scotland, Spain and Finland.

Angela is pre-deceased by her husband Seán (2014), parents William and Elizabeth and her five brothers and four sisters.

Angela’s remains will be reposing at Drumbuoy Farm, Newtowncunningham F93 D850 from 1pm until 9pm on Thursday, June 12 with Rosary at 8pm.

Funeral from there on Friday, June 13 at 10.15am going to All Saints Church, Newtowncunningham for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/newtowncunningham followed by private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Family time on the morning of the funeral please.

Marie Smyth, Bundoran

The death has occurred of Marie Smyth (née Granaghan), Ballyshannon Community Hospital and formerly Finner Avenue, Bundoran.

Ms Smyth passed away at Sligo University Hospital on Tuesday, June 10.

Predeceased by her parents Jim and Kitty, husband Joe, brother Vincent and sisters Noeleen, Angela, Pauline and Helen.

Sadly missed by her sons Shane and David (Mary Teresa); grandchildren Zoe, Lee and Jay; brothers Seamie, Roy and Ben; sister Joan; brothers in law; sisters in law; nieces; nephews; godchildren; extended family and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Breslins Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran (F94 E92F) on Thursday, June 12 from 4pm until 8pm.

Removal on Friday morning at 10.40am to the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am with burial to follow in St Ninnidh’s Cemetery, Bundoran.

Hugh Kennedy, Mountcharles

The death has occurred of Hugh Kennedy, Old Road, Mountcharles.

Mr Kennedy passed away suddenly but peacefully at his home on Tuesday, June 10.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife May, daughters Christina (RIP), Anita (Tommy), Caroline (Christy), Stephanie (Edward) and Alison (Cliff).
Sadly missed by grandchildren Danielle, Emma, Aaron, Lewis, Rhianna and Christopher, great- grandchildren, extended family, friends and neighbours.

His remains will repose at his home in Old Road, Mountcharles (F94 E8W2) on Thursday, June 12 from 2 pm to 9 pm.

Rosary each night at 9 pm.

Removal on Friday, June 13 to The Church of St Joseph and St Conal, Bruckless for Requiem Mass at 11 am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.

A one way system will be in operation at the wake, enter via Mc Monagle Stone and exit at Mountcharles village.

Kevin O’Kane, Doneyloop

The death has occurred of Kevin O’Kane, Doneyloop.

Mr O’Kane passed away peacefully in Watford, England on Wednesday, May 28.

Loving brother of Teresa (Gillespie), Hugo, Noel, Brendan and the late Seamus, cherished son of the late Mary-Jane and Michael.

Reposing at the home of his brother Noel, (Ternagushog, Castlefin, Co Donegal, F93 H2PC) on Thursday, June 12 from 6.30 pm.

Funeral from Noel’s home on Friday, June 13 at 11.30 am for Requiem Mass at 12 noon in St. Columba’s Church, Doneyloop.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard.

The Mass can be viewed via the parish webcam.

Very deeply regretted and sadly missed by his entire family circle and many good friends.

Liam Gilmore, Carndonagh

The death has occurred of Liam Gilmore, Bridge Street, Carndonagh.

Mr Gilmore passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 5.

Beloved brother of Oliver, Evelyn, Donal and Bride.

Predeceased by his brother Michael, his sister Marion, and his parents Dan and Elizabeth.

Deeply regretted by his nieces, nephews, his extended family here and in England, his friends and neighbours.

Funeral arrangements to be confirmed later.

Mary Duffy, Cloghan

The death has occurred of Mary Duffy (née Gallagher), Galwolie, Cloghan.

Ms Duffy passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Donegal Hospice on Monday, June 9.

Beloved wife of Hugo and much-loved mother of Hugh, Katrina (Damien), Mark (Denise), Kieran (Siobhan), Fionnuala (Derek), Donna (Michael).

Devoted grandmother to Lauren, Amelia, Fíadh, Odhrán, Ellie, Beth, Cassie, Fionn, Daithí, Kaiden, Ethan, Caoimhe, Rían, Dáragh and Fíonn.

Sadly missed by her loving sisters Catherine and Bernadette, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by her infant son baby Michael, her parents Elizabeth and Michael and her sister Geraldine.

Removal on Thursday, June 12 to the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Glenfin, for Requiem Mass at 11 am.

Burial afterwards in Kilteevogue Cemetery.
