The death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Séamus Rodgers, Annagry West, Annagry.

Sadly missed by his wife Teresa and daughter Rosemary (Neil), sisters Mary (Dunlewey) Bríd, (Annagry), nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his brother Joe.

His remains will repose in McGlynn’s Funeral Home, Dungloe on Thursday from 4.30pm until rosary at 8pm and on Friday from 3pm until 6pm followed by private removal to his home.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Annagry with interment in the adjoining cemetery.  

 Ann Cullen, Market Street, Rathmullan

The peaceful death has taken place at her home of Ann Cullen (neé Sheridan), Market Street, Rathmullan.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Denis, children Maeve (John), Joanne (Tommy), Donal (Ciara), Brendan (Anne) Paula (Maurice), Sinéad (Patrick), Damien (Triona), Grainne and her 16 grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Joseph, Roseanne, brothers Tommy and Patsy and sister Lala, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and godchildren. 

Reposing at her home from 4pm on Thursday until after the rosary at 9pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral. 

Requiem Mass on Friday afternoon at 12.30pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan, followed by interment in the adjacent cemetery.

Mary Rose Blaney, Rossnakill, Fanad

The peaceful death has taken place at her residence of Mary Rose Blaney (née Beagin) Rossnakill, Fanad and formerly Aghabog, Monaghan. 

Sadly missed by her husband Lawrence, daughter Anne, sons Hugh, Lawrence, Paul, Michael, Brendan and Fergal. Predeceased by her son Anthony. Also sadly missed by daughters-in-law, sister Elizabeth (Navan), grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

Remains are reposing at her late residence until 10pm tonight (Thursday). Rosare at 8pm.   

Funeral Mass in St Columba’s Church, Massmount, Fanad on Friday at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.

Brian Superina, Quigley’s Point and formerly Australia

The peaceful death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Brian Superina, Gortanny, Quigley’s Point and formerly of Sydney, Australia. 

Beloved husband of Eileen. 

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours. 

His remains will repose at Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh F93 E4FN today (Thursday) from 3-5pm and on Friday from 3-5pm followed by removal at 5pm to St Mary’s Church, Lagg to repose overnight. 

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 10am followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard. 

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice, c/o any family member or Eamonn McLaughlin Funeral Director. 

Sarah (Sally) Payne, Newtowncunningham

The death has taken place at her home of Sarah Payne, known as Sally, Rooskey, Newtowncunningham F93HF51.

She was predeceased by her late husband Joseph. 

Sally will be forever loved and remembered by her sister Kathleen Robb, nieces, nephews and wider family circle.

Her remains will repose at her home on Friday from 12 noon to 10pm.

Removal from there on Saturday at 12.30pm for 1pm funeral service in Crossroads Presbyterian Church, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Anne Moore, Tooban, Burnfoot

The death has occurred, peacefully surrounded by her loving family of Anne Moore, Tooban, Burnfoot. 

Beloved wife of the late David; much loved mother of Carole, Annette, Kenneth, Linda and Alan; dear sister of Robert and mother-in-law of Fergus, Dessie and partner Denise. 

Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by her loving daughters, sons, sons-in-law, partner, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother, extended family, friends and neighbours. 

Anne’s remains will be reposing at her home from 6pm this evening (Thursday).

Wake is strictly private to family and close friends at the request of the deceased

Family time please from 9pm to 1pm. Removal on the day of funeral is strictly for family only.

Patrick Logue, Carndonagh

The peaceful death has taken place at his home of Patrick Joseph Logue, 44 Cedar Grove, Carndonagh.

Beloved husband of Roisin, sadly missed by his family Steven, Brendan, James and Suzanne.

Dear brother of Eileen, Frank, Marie and Harry. Deeply regretted by his grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Patrick will leave Kelly’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh on Friday at 2pm going to his late residence.

Removal from there on Sunday morning at 10.30am to Sacred Heart Church, Carndonagh for 11am Requiem Mass followed by burial in Lagg cemetery, Malin Head.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to St. Vincent de Paul, Carndonagh c/o any family member or Kelly’s Funeral Directors. Family time please from 9pm to 11am.

Nellie Boyle, Arranmore Island and Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Nellie (Mary Ann) Boyle, Ballintra, Arranmore Island. 

She died peacefully at the home of her daughter Margaret (McGarrigle), 29 Assaroe View, Ballyshannon. 

Predeceased by her husband Frank and son Seamus. Dearly loved and sadly missed by her son John and daughter Margaret, grandchildren Sean, Martin, James, Aaron, Jamie, Alannah and Matthew, daughters-in-law Caroline and Gemma, son-in-law Marty, cousins, neighbours and friends.
Nellie will make her final crossing to the island on Friday, November 22 on the 12 45pm blue ferry. 

Reposing at the family home in Ballintra until 11pm and on Saturday from 12 noon to 11pm. Rosary both nights at 9pm. 

House is private please outside of these times. 

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Sunday morning (time to be confirmed) in St Crone’s Church, Arranmore.

 Veronica Drummond, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Veronica Drummond (neé Lynch), East Rock, Ballyshannon and formerly of Lismore, Co. Waterford.

She died peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St Phelim’s Nursing Home, Dromohair, surrounded by her caring family.

Predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth, and her siblings Con and Eily.

Sadly missed by her husband of 62 years Bernard, and by her siblings John and Brendan.
A devoted mother to Brian (Imelda), Fiona (Patrick), Brendan “Benjy” (Kay), Colin “Collie”, Sinéad (Martin), Diarmuid “DD” (Maria) and Niall.
Lovingly remembered by her treasured grandchildren Vanessa, Colin, Laoighse, Ronan, Bréanainn, Dáire, Oisín, Brónagh, Caoimhín, Caelán, Gráinne, Leon, Eva, Sadhbh, Aodhán, and by her great-grandchildren.

Reposing at her family home on Thursday from 6pm until 9pm for family and close friends and on Friday from 12 noon to 9pm for all. 

Removal from her home on Saturday at 11.15am to arrive at St. Joseph’s Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11.30am with interment in the adjoining cemetery.

House private to family outside of the reposing times and on the morning of the funeral. 

Willie John Doherty, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Willie John Doherty, Kildoney, Glebe, Ballyshannon.

He passed away peacefully at North West Hospice, Sligo surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, November 19.

Sadly missed by his wife Louise, his children Eoghan and Hannah, brother Pat (Valerie), niece Aoife (Johnny), aunt Mary, cousins, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Patsy and Ellen (Ward), brother Gerry and sister Thérèse.

Reposing at his residence on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm and Thursday from 12 noon to 7pm.

House private at all other times please.

Removal on Friday morning to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon for 11am funeral Mass followed by burial afterward in the Abbey Cemetery.

There will be a one way system in operation for the wake, entry via Creevy crossroads and exit via Heron’s Cove.

Bridget (Bridie) Brook, Crossroads

The death has occurred of Bridget (Bridie) Brook (née Patton), Ballinacor, Crossroads.

Ms Brook passed away in Surrey, London on Monday, November 11.

Beloved wife of the late Derek, much loved mother of daughter, Lorraine (Alan), sons Jerry (Lindsey), Derek (Trisha), Andy (Thea) dearly loved grandmother to Michael (Hannah) Ciara (Abi), Beth, Aidan, Sam, Noah, Scarlet, and Charlie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving, sons, daughter, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.

Remains reposing at the home of her niece, Mrs. Patricia Mc Govern, Drumavish, Crossroads, Killygordon, on Thursday evening, November 21 from 5pm to 10 pm. 

Funeral leaving from her home on Friday, November 22 at 10.20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon with interment in the adjoining churchyard.

Betty Pitcher, Inver

The death has occurred of Betty Pitcher, Walsall, England and formerly Cranny Lower, Inver.

Ms Pitcher passed away on Thursday, August 8.

Pre-deceased by her husband Ray (Roy) and son Paul.

Sadly missed by her sons Mark, Colin and Charles and their extended families.

Ashes to return to Inver for interment in St Naul’s Cemetery, Ardaghey, on Sunday, November 24 at 2pm
