The death has occurred of Sarah McCrory (née Doherty), Cavanacor, Ballindrait, Co. Donegal, F93 EH64.

Lovingly missed by her daughters and sons: Majella, Carmel, Mary, Patrick, Catherine, Maureen, Martin, and Pearse; her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Danny Doherty, nieces, nephews, and all her extended family and friends.

Sarah was predeceased by her husband Liam, parents Thomas and Elizabeth, sisters Eileen Hamilton and Kathleen Lynch, and son-in-law Danny Gillespie. May they all Rest in Peace.

Remains reposing at her late residence.

Funeral from her late residence on Saturday morning, December 6, at 10.30 am, going to St Patrick’s Church, Murlog, for 11 am requiem Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Frank Porter, Cork and Redcastle

The death has occurred of Frank Porter, Fergus, Dripsey, Cork and formerly of Redcastle.

Mr Porter passed away peacefully at Beaumont Residential Care on Thursday, December 4.

Frank is the beloved husband of the late Bridget and loving father of Wayne and the late Rachel.

Sadly missed by his son, daughter-in-law Liz, grandchildren Mabel, Freya, James and Lexi, brothers Michael and Paul, sisters Nance, Maura and Nora, extended family, friends and his godson Michael.

Lying in repose at Crowley’s Funeral Home, Ballincollig on Saturday, December 6 from 4pm to 5pm for visitation.

Lying in repose at Eamonn McLaughlin Funeral Home, Station Rd, Carndonagh, Co Donegal on Sunday, December 7 from 7pm to 8pm for visitation.

Requiem Mass on Monday, December 8 at 11am at St Columba’s Church, Drung, Co Donegal which can be viewed on http://www.stcolumbasdrung.net/index.html . Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.

Margaret McGlynn, Bruckless

The death has occurred of Margaret McGlynn, (née Brosnan), St Theresa’s Avenue, Bruckless and formerly of Kerry, Waterford and London.

Ms McGlynn passed away on Wednesday, December 3.

Predeceased by her loving husband Michael and son Peter, her parents James and Nora and brother Con.

Will be sadly missed by her brother Billy (Linda) and Sister Celia (Billy RIP), her extended family, neighbours and friends.

Remains arriving at the Church of Saint Joseph and Saint Conall, Bruckless on Friday at 7 pm to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11 am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Teresa Ferry, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Teresa Ferry (née Barrett), Carnamuggagh Upper, Letterkenny.

Ms Ferry passed away peacefully in Hillcrest Nursing Home in Letterkenny on Thursday, December 4.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons Charlie, Eamonn and Garreth, daughter Sara, daughters-in-law, Colette, Helena and Amy, son-in-law Gavin, grandchildren Conal, Liam, Ciara, Aisling, Orla, Luke, Ryan, Zoé, Lily, Lucy and Eamonn, brother Charlie, sisters-in-law Mary and Rosemarie, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her husband Eamonn and her brothers John and Dan.

Reposing at the residence of her daughter Sara and Gavin Crawford, 54, The Grange, Letterkenny, F92 YXT3, today, Thursday December 4 until 8pm and tomorrow, Friday December 5 from 12 noon until 8pm.

House private at all other times.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, December 6 at 11am in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny.

Burial afterwards in Rathmullan Cemetery.

Dan Cunningham, Killybegs

The death has occurred of Dan Cunningham, St Catherine’s Road, Killybegs.

Mr Cunningham passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, December 3.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his wife Bridie, daughters Siobhan (Aidan) and Thérése (Gary), son Stephen, grandsons Cillian, Ben, Eamon and Oisin and his mum Erin and dad Kieran.

Predeceased by his sons Oliver and Matthew, parents Charlie and Hannah, brothers John, Cathal, Michael and James and sisters Mary, Leila and Brìd.

Reposing at his residence on Thursday, December 4 and Friday, December 5 from 2pm to 9pm.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, December 6 in St Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs at 11am with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

House private on the morning of the funeral please.

Patrick (Pat) Devenney, London and Manorcunningham

The death has taken place of Patrick (Pat) Devenney, London, formerly Ray, Manorcunningham.

Deeply regretted by his brother Jimmy (Letterkenny), sisters, Isobel Patmore (London), Margaret Reid (London), Chrissie Graham (Clydebank) and Kathleen Gallagher (Lifford).

Reposing overnight in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny for 11 am funeral Mass on Friday, December 5 which can be viewed on the link www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny followed by burial in St, Columba’s Church, Cemetery, Drumoghill.

Patrick (Pat) Deehan, Carraig Airt

The peaceful death has taken place on Wednesday, December 3 at the Donegal Hospice in Letterkenny of Patrick (Pat) Deehan, 179 Radharc An Oileain, Carraig Airt, Co Donegal, F92 F254.

As the oldest sibling, Pat will be deeply missed by younger sister Teresa and brothers, Jimmy, Bobby, Eugene, Declan and wide circle of friends.

Patrick’s remains will repose at his home address in Carrigart.

The wake will be private from 10pm until 10am for family time and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral on Friday, December 5 at 2pm in St John the Baptist Church, Carrigart.

Family flowers only please with donations in lieu of Donegal Hospice care of any family member.

Connell McDevitt, Portnoo

The death has occurred of Connell McDevitt, Loughderryduff, Portnoo.

Mr McDevitt passed away peacefully at his home.

He is sadly missed by his loving wife Beatrice, daughter Pauline, (John Paul), sons Sean, Frankie, (Geraldine), Connell, Gerard, Pauric, Mark (Roseleen) and Michael, his 16 grandchildren and great-grandchild Caleb, brothers Paddy and Tony, sisters Philomena, Noleen and Mary, brothers-in- law, sisters-in-law nieces, nephews, extended family and all his relatives, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his brother John Joe and his sisters Theresa and Rosaleen.

Reposing at his home today, Thursday, December 4.

Funeral from there on Friday morning at 10.30am to St Conals Church, Kilclooney for 11am requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Rosary at 9pm.

There will be a shuttle bus in operation from the Dolmen Centre Kilclooney each evening from 5pm.

James O’Donnell, Annagry

The death has occurred of James O’Donnell, Ranafast, Annagry and originally from Knockastolar, Bunbeg.

Mr O’Donnell passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 2.

Predeceased by his parents; Conal and Biddy, daughter-in-law Fiona, sisters; Bríd and Mary and brother Danny.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Ita, daughters; Celine, Marguerita (Michael), son Connell, brother Connie, grandchildren; Ciarán (Meabh), Martin, Róisin, Conor, James and Roseanne, great grandchildren; Eimear, Naoise and Doireann and extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at his home in Ranafast (F94 YKF4) on Thursday until 8pm.

Rosary at 8pm.

House private after rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, December 5 in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Annagry at 11am, burial afterwards in the new graveyard, Annagry.

Paul Colgan, Coventry and Ballybofey

The death has occurred of Paul Colgan, Coventry, England and formerly of Kinaderry, Ballybofey.

Mr Colgan passed away in Coventry on Thursday, November 27.

Beloved son of the late Danny and Sal, much loved brother of Danny Jnr.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his brother, uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends in Donegal and England.

Reposing at the home of his uncle and aunt in law Gerard and Anne Mc Cool, Kinaderry, Welchtown, F93 K856 on Thursday, December 4 from until 9pm.

A shuttle bus service will be in operation from the Picnic area at Welchtown.

Funeral leaving from there on Friday, December 5 at 11.30 am for requiem Mass in the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Glenfin at 12 noon.

Cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan later.

Michael McBride, Fanad

The peaceful death has taken place at Áras Uí Domhnaill Nursing Home, Milford of Michael Mc Bride, Tullyconnall, Fanad.

Sadly missed by his sister Margaret, brother John, brother-in-law Hugo, sister-in-law Eileen, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Mick and Grace and brother Dermot.

Reposing overnight in St Mary’s Fanavolty, Fanad.

Requiem Mass on Friday, December 5 at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

A shuttle bus will be in operation on Wednesday only, from 4pm leaving Cashel National School (F92V449).

Anthony ‘Con’ Gallagher, Frosses

The death has occurred of Anthony ‘Con’ Gallagher, Meenagran, Frosses. He passed away peacefully in London on Tuesday, November 18.

Anthony is predeceased by his wife, Freddie and his siblings, Connie, Kathleen, Marie and Patrick.

Sadly missed by his beloved sons, Anthony (Catherine) and John and is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Catriona, Conal, Ryan, Maeve and Eamonn, his siblings, Theresa, Margaret and Agnes, many nieces and nephews and wide circle of friends in Ireland and the UK.

Anthony’s remains will arrive at The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Frosses, at 6pm on Friday, December 5 for reception prayers and to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, December 6 at 11am, with interment immediately afterwards in the church graveyard.
