Paddy Coll, Creeslough

The death has taken place of Paddy Coll, Massinass, Creeslough, at the Lakehouse Nursing Home, Portnablagh.

Sadly missed by loving wife Mary, his sons Charles, John and Stuart and daughters Terry and Anne, his grandchildren Patrick, Margaret, Mary, Aine, Evelyn, Olivia, Zoe and Jake, daughter-in-law Roberta, son-in-law John and step daughters Samantha and Kim, his nieces and nephews, his dear cousins Ann and Brid and his circle of family, friends and neighbours.

His remains will be reposing at his late residence from Wednesday, February 11  at 2 p.m. to 9pm and on Thursday, February 12 from 2pm to 9pm.

Funeral Mass in St. Michael’s Church, Creeslough on Friday, February 13 at 11am, burial afterwards in Doe Cemetery.

Nora Devlin, Redcastle and formerly of Boynton Beach, Florida, Philadelphia

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Nora Devlin (née O’Neill), Ballyratten, Redcastle and formerly of Boynton Beach, Florida, Philadelphia, PA and Glenmornan, Artigarvan.

Beloved wife of Eamon and much loved mother of Kevin, Brian and Noreen and cherished granny by all her grandchildren.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, wider circle of family friends and neighbours from around the world.

Nora’s remains are reposing at Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh from 4pm to 7pm (private to family and close friends only please at the request of the deceased) followed by removal at 7pm to St Columbas Church, Drung to repose overnight.

Nora’s Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, February 11 at 11am in St Columbas Church, Drung followed by Interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Margaret Lake, Moville 

The death has taken place at her home, surrounded by her loving family, of Margaret Lake, 16 O’Gara Villas, Moville.

Predeceased by her son Brian.

Beloved wife of Thomas and much loved mother of Michelle, Kevin, Thomas, Claire, Sean, Tara and Sinead and cherished granny to all her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Deep regretted and sadly missed by her sisters and brother, Marion, Janette, Joe (RIP) and Siobhan (RIP), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Margaret’s remains left  Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh, F93 E4FN today at 3pm going to her home, F93 KT5N.

Funeral from there on Thursday, February 12 at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Ballybrack, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Joe McGroarty, Ballintra

Peacefully at home,surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral Mass Thursday, February 12 at 11am in St Brigids Church, Ballintra, F94 AP84 followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Please note, a shuttle bus service will be in operation for those attending the wake, departing from and returning to Smarty Pants Carpark, Ballintra F94VH2H each evening from 5pm.

Isabel Greene, Pettigo

The death has occured of Isabel Greene, Belault, Pettigo, peacefully in the wonderful care of all at the Moycullen Nursing Home, Co. Galway, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Eamonn. Isabel lived a gentle, loving and devoted life and was deeply family orientated in all that she did.

She will be deeply missed by her four loving children Edward, John, Deirdre and Brenda, her sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and was adored by her cherished grandchildren Sarah, Catherine, Mark and Michelle who were her greatest joy.

Sadly missed also by her extended family, neighbours and many friends- people she cared for quietly, faithfully and with great kindness- all of whom were deeply touched by her warmth, her faith and her goodness of heart.

Reposing at Tir Conaill Funeral Home, Donegal Town on Wednesday, February 11 from 4pm to 9pm.

Funeral Mass on Thursday, February 12 at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Pettigo, followed by burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery where Isabel will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Eamonn.

The Greene, Leyden and Keeney families would like to sincerely thank Isabel’s many friends, neighbours and relatives for the kindness, compassion and support shown to her and to the family, particularly in recent times. Every message, visit and quiet gesture has been deeply felt and is truly appreciated.

The death has taken place at his home of Billy Ramsay, Ballyraine, Letterkenny.

Survived by his loving wife Margaret, sons Wesley and Clive, daughter Amanda, daughter-in-law Jacinta, grandchildren Alex, Jack, Adam, Holly, William and James and great-granddaughter Robyn.

Reposing at his late residence in Ballyraine, Monday, February 9 from 7pm to 9pm and Tuesday 10th from 3pm to 8pm.

Service of Thanksgiving on Wednesday, February 11 at 2pm in Trinity Presbyterian Church, Main Street, Letterkenny, followed by committal in Gortlee Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Frank Gallagher, Donegal Road, Killybegs, peacefully at University Hospital Galway, surrounded by his family.

Predeceased by his wife Marlene, sons Philip and Barry, his parents Jack and Maude, brothers Jackie, Phelim, Michael, Patrick and Tadhg, nephews Jack, Michael and Paul and grandniece Maria Anna.

Sadly missed by his son Damien, brother Eamon, sisters Mai and Anne, grandchildren Liam and Lorenzo, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and Tetiana.

Remains reposing at McBreartys Funeral Home, Killybegs on Monday, February 9from 8pm10pm and on Tuesday, February 10 from 2pm- 9pm.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 11, in St. Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs at 11am.

Burial afterwards in the cemetery of the Church of the Sacred Heart, Mountcharles.

Dermot (Dermie) Toland, Gortahork

The death has occurred at the Lakehouse Nursing Home of Dermot (Dermie) Toland of Gortahork, originally of Clonmany.

His remains are reposing at his late residence (F92 DFH0), today, Monday, February 9 from 6pm-9pm and tomorrow from 2pm-8pm.

Removal from there on Wednesday, February 11, at 10:30am going to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan for service at 2pm.

Family home is private please on Wednesday.

Vera Breslin, Glenties

The peaceful death has occurred of Vera Breslin 121 Ard Patrick, Glenties surrounded by her loving family at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Kevin, and son Laurence.

Vera will be sadly missed by her sons Martin (Anne), Pascal (Róisín), daughter Fiona (Laurence), daughter-in-law Louise, and grandchildren Conor, Ronan, Odhran, Alicia, Oisin, Lorcan and Finnian, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Vera’s remains are reposing at the family home 121 Ard Patrick, Glenties, today, Monday, February 9 February from 12 noon until 9pm and Tuesday, February 10 from 12 noon until 9pm.

Funeral mass on Wednesday, February 11 at 12 noon in St. Connell’s Church, Glenties with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
