Bernie Cecilia O’Doherty, Donegal Town and Dundalk
The death has occurred of Bernie Cecilia O’Doherty, 33 Oaklawns, Dundalk and formerly Donegal Town.
Ms O’Doherty passed away peacefully at Kilbrew, Demesne, Ashbourne on Saturday, February 1.
Predeceased by her parents Thomas John and Elizabeth Doherty her sisters Margaret Mc Brearty , Eilis Kelly, Grainne O’Doherty, Frances O Neill and brothers Tommy Doherty and Gene Doherty.
Sadly missed by her sister Sr Paula O’Doherty, brother in law Bert O Neill, nieces, nephews, all her relatives, neighbours and friends.
Her remains will repose at Tir Conal Funeral Home Donegal Town on Monday from 2pm to 6pm.
Removal from there to St Patrick’s Church Donegal Town arriving at 7p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 11a.m with cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium Co Cavan.
Geraldine Greene, Ballyshannon
The death has occurred of Geraldine Greene, 68 St Benildus Ave, Ballyshannon.
Ms Greene passed away suddenly at home on Friday, January 31.
Beloved wife of Francis (Buddy) and adored mother of David (Colleen) and Stephanie (Ciaran).
Geraldine will be forever loved and sadly missed by her loving family, her husband, son, daughter, her beloved grandchildren Keith, Erin and Bethany her sister Christina McGrath (Packie R.I.P), her nephew Shane (Deirdre), niece Caroline McNamara (Dessie), and all her relatives, great neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her parents Packie and Dora Rooney, baby son Keith and grandson Nathan.
Reposing at Breslin’s Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran F94E92F today, Sunday, February 2 from 5pm to 7pm where all are welcome to attend.
The Funeral Cortége will depart her late residence, St. Benildus Ave, Ballyshannon on Monday afternoon at 12.40pm to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 1pm.
Removal afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Cashelard for burial service.

Ita Friel, Creeslough
The death has occurred of Ita Friel, Hillcrest Nursing Home/ Maples Lismonaghan, Letterkenny and formerly of Creeslough.
Ms Friel passed away on Friday, January 31.
Sadly missed by her loving brothers and sisters Nora, John F, Mary, Columba, Michael, Cathal, Bernie, and Joe, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by her loving parents John and Tessie and brother Ciaran.
Viewing will take place at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny on Sunday, February 2 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. followed by removal to St. Michael’s Church, Creeslough for 5.45 p.m. to repose overnight.
Funeral Mass in St. Michael’s Church, Creeslough on Monday, February 3 at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in Doe Graveyard.

The death has occurred of Michael Stewart, Woodvale Lodge, Laghey and formerly Earl Street, Longford and Portnoo.
Mr Stewart passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Thursday, January 30.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Claire, son Alan (Maria), daughters Tara (Jim) and Emily (Bryan), grandchildren James, Lorcan, Grace, Bradley, Flynn, Honor and Annelie, brothers Dermot, Gerald and Brian, sisters Honor and Mary, brother-in-law Malachy Mc Closkey, sisters-in-law Margaret and Margot, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Funeral Mass on Sunday, February 2 at 11.30am in St Patrick’s Church, Donegal Town with burial afterwards in Clar Cemetery.
