Josephine Crumlish, Moville

The death has occurred of Josephine Crumlish (née Wilson), Quay Street, Moville.

Ms Crumlish passed away peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Daughter of the late William and Margaret Wilson.

Beloved wife of Paul and much loved mother of Connor.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sisters and brothers, Beatrice (John), Patsy (Madge), Bernadette and Mary (RIP) (Paddy), nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Josephine’s remains will leave Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Carndonagh F93 E4FN this evening at 6pm going to the Wilson family home at Quay Street, Moville F93 D70K, where you are all welcome to pay your respects this evening until 10pm and tomorrow, Monday from 1pm until 9pm.

The family home is private on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral from there on Tuesday January 6 at 10.30am for 11am requiem Mass in St Pius X Church Moville, followed by Interment in Ballybrack cemetery.

Sean O’Neill, Bundoran and Belfast

The death has occurred of Sean O’Neill, 95 Whitemaple Drive, Bundoran and formerly of Balfast, Down.

Mr O’Neill passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home on Sunday, January 4.

Forever loved and sadly missed by his loving wife Annemarie, his beloved daughter Teresa, his brothers Eddie and Willie, sister Brigid and all his nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his beloved son Keith, his parents Joe & Brigid O’Neill, brother Frankie and sisters Margaret, Rosaleen and Jeannie.

Reposing at Breslin’s Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran (F94E92F) on Tuesday, January 6 from 5pm to 7pm

Removal from Breslin’s Funeral Home on Wednesday morning, January 7 at 10.40am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea,

Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am.

Removal afterwards to the Abbey Cemetery, Rossnowlagh Rd, Ballyshannon for burial service.

Patrick J (Pat) McLoone, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Patrick J (Pat) McLoone, 14, McMahon Villas, Letterkenny.

Mr McLoone, who worked in the Administration Department of the HSE, passed away on Saturday, January 3.

Predeceased by his parents, Sally and Peter, brother John, and sister Mary Burke (England). Sadly missed by his sisters Anne Colhoun (Donegal Town), Mairead Collins (Waterford), Bernie Alcorn (Lisnennan) and Carmel Fox (Dublin), brother Peter (Clare), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family, many friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his late residence.

House private at the request of the deceased.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday, January 6, at 11am in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, which can be viewed online at www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Cathal Doherty, Carndonagh

The death has occurred of Cathal Doherty, Lower Trenbane, Carndonagh.

Mr Doherty passed away at his home on Saturday, January 3.

Beloved husband of Breege and much loved father of Madeline (Donald), Caroline (John), Rosemarie (Jeremie), Josephine (Garret), Cathal (Breda), Gerard (Amanda), Breege (Neil Anthony), Dominic (Birgitta), Hugh Martin and Christopher (Georgia).

Dear brother of Packie, Hubert, Eleanor and Sheila.

Deeply regretted by his grandchildren Oisin, Aoife, Isobel, Olivia, Anna, Ciara, Clodagh, Isla, Cassie, Alyssa, Robyn, Erin and Magnus, his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

His remains will be reposing at his home today where all are welcome to pay their respect.

Maura O’Brien, Lifford

The death has occurred of Maura O’Brien (née Griffin), 3 Townparks, Lifford and formerly of Castlefin.

Ms O’Brien passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Saturday, January 3.

Beloved wife of the late Sean, much loved mother of Eunan (Bernadette), Paula (Trevor) and Michael (Deirdre), dearly loved grandmother of Sinead and Cormac and sister of Roisin, Una, James and the late Jean and Grace.

Reposing at her home.

Funeral leaving her home on Tuesday, January 6 at 11.30am for requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 12 noon.

Interment afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Castlefin.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughter, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brother, sisters, nephews, nieces and family circle.

Helen (Babs) Flannery, Cork and Buncrana

The death has occurred of Helen (Babs) Flannery (née Cotter), Macroon, Cork and formerly of Buncrana.

Ms Flannery passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 1.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters Lorraine, Lorna and Aimée, Aimée’s partner Ray; her adored grandchildren Rose, Fíonn, Ardán and Alex; her sisters Evelyn and Mary; extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

A humanist ceremony will take place at The Island Crematorium, Rocky Island, Ringaskiddy (P43DD71) at 12 noon, Tuesday, January 6.

No flowers please.

Mary Brogan, Killybegs

The death has occurred of Mary Brogan, Fintra Road, Killybegs.

Ms Brogan passed away at the Donegal Hospice surrounded by her family on Friday, January 2.

Predeceased by her parents Mary Agnes and Josie Cunningham.

Sadly missed by her husband Jimmy, daughter Donna, son in law John, grandchildren Loughlann and Olivia, brothers John (Mary), Hugh, Francie (Margaret) and Danny (Margaret), sisters Anne and Catherine (Eugene), sisters in law Kathleen and Rose, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Remains reposing at Mc Brearty’s Funeral Home, Killybegs (F94 R8WR) today until 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Monday, January 5 in St Mary of the Visitation Church Killybegs at 11am with burial afterwards in the local cemetary.

Family flowers only donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice, care of any family member or the funeral directors.

James (Jim) Melly, Meath and Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of James (Jim) Melly, Bogganstown, Dunree, Co Meath and formerly of Ballyshannon.

Mr Melly passed away at home on New Year’s Day.

Predeceased by his devoted and loving wife Phil.

Very deeply regretted by his brother Michael, and his sisters Mairead (Clarke), Noreen (O’Grady), Mary Melly, Anne Melly, Berna (Cox), his brothers-in-law Mick and Tom, and his sister-in-law Kate.

He is also fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at McEntaggart’s funeral home, The Gables, Dunshaughlin, (A85 DE70) from 4pm to 7pm on Monday, January 5.

Arriving at Glasnevin Crematorium at 2.30pm on Tuesday, January 6.

Bridie Devlin, Coventry and Clonmany

The peaceful death has occurred of Bridie Devlin (née McGeoghegan) in Coventry, England and formerly of Ballymageehan, Isle of Doagh, Clonmany.

Surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Michael.

Devoted mother to Jackie, Bernie, Julie, Kathleen, Carmel and Michael.

Cherished grandmother to Jack, Lewis, Matthew, Niamh and Aisling.

Loving mother in law to Jim, Sharon and Charlie.

Her remains are repsoing at her daughter Carmel’s home, Upper Annaugh, Clonmany (F93HT26), where you are welcome to pay your respects.

Funeral from there on Monday morning at 10.30am going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for requiem Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in the new cemetery.

Margaret Gibbons, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Margaret Gibbons, College St, Ballyshannon.

Ms Gibbons passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 2.

Predeceased by her parents John and Teresa, her brother Dan, and infant brother John James.

Forever loved and sadly missed by her loving niece Sheila, nephews Sean and Brian, sister-in-law Ann, cousins and all extended family and friends.

Reposing at her late residence with removal on Monday at 10.45am to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 am with service of interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery.
