The death has occurred of Garry McGrath, Kill, Dunfanaghy and formerly of Belfast.

Mr McGrath passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 30.

Dearly beloved husband of Lisa, much loved father to John, Claire, Riona and Charlie.

Brother to Paddy, Jimmy, Brian and Mary, father-in-law to Ciara, Michael and Niamh.

Cherished grandfather to Cara.

Sadly missed by his loving family and friends.

Garry will remain at home.

Visitors welcome on Monday 2nd December from 1pm – 8pm.

Requiem Mass will be held at Holy Cross Church, Dunfanaghy on Tuesday, December 3 at 12pm with burial after in adjoining cemetery.

Rose Gibbons, Derry and Donegal

The death has occurred of Rose Gibbons, Culmore, Derry and Donegal.

Ms Gibbons passed away on Sunday, December 1.

Beloved wife of the late John, devoted mother of James and his partner Lorena, dear sister of Theresa, Bridget, Elizabeth, Mena, Patrick, Michael, John and the late Maureen, Joe, James and Brian and a much loved aunt and great-aunt.

Her remains will be reposing in her home, 9 Heathfield, Culmore Road, from 4 pm to 9 pm on Sunday and 11am to 9pm on Monday.

Funeral from there on Tuesday at 9.30 am for 10 am Requiem Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Steelstown. Interment afterwards in Star of the Sea Cemetery, Faughanvale.

The death has occurred of Thomas Joseph (Joey) Gallagher, Greaghs, Laghey.

Mr Gallagher passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 1.

Beloved husband of the late Brigid, and father of Deirdre, Clodagh (Kevin), Fionnuala (Danijel), Ronan (Mary), Nigel (Noelia), Damian (Pauline), Jarlath (Eileen).
Joey will repose at home.

Visitors welcome on Monday 2nd December from 3pm to 9pm.

Please note those attending the wake there will be a one way system enter via Pettigo road exit via Copany road.

Funeral Mass will be held at St Brigid’s Ballintra on Tuesday, December 3 at 11am with burial after in adjoining cemetery.

Joey will be sadly missed by his sons and daughters, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughters-in-law and extended family members.

Charles (Charlie) Fox, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Charles (Charlie) Fox, Riverside London and formerly of Beechwood Road, Letterkenny.

Mr Fox passed away suddenly following a long illness in thecare of the NHS, Homerton Hospital on Monday, November 18.

Predeceased by his parents Jim and Bridie and his sister Síobhan.

Will be greatly missed by his sister Rosemary, his brother Seamus, niece Aisling and her husband Simon, nephew Ronan and his wife Ellen, grandnieces Órlaith and Amandine, grandnephew Fiachra, his extended family and friends.

Reposing in Letterkenny Funeral Home, Port Road, F92 E6PA on Tuesday, December 3 from 7 to 9pm.

Arriving to St. Eunan’s Cathedral for Requiem Mass at 11am on Wednesday, December 4 with burial afterwards in the family plot, Conwal Cemetery.

Chrissie (Christina) Kearney, Redcastle

The death has occurred of Chrissie (Christina) Kearney, Carrickmaquigley, Redcastle.

Ms Kearney passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Friday, November 29.

Beloved Mother of Sharon (Adrian), Catriona (Ciaran) and Fergal (Carol-Anne).

Devoted Nanny of Aston, Logan, Jayden, Olivia and Darragh.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her partner John, her Sisters Maria and Peggie, Nieces and Nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Chrissie’s remains are now reposing at the home of her Son Fergal, Carrickmaquigley, Redcastle F93 PPK5 where you are all welcome to pay your respect.

Ms Moran passed away on Tuesday, November 12.

Beloved husband of Sarah, cherished father of Robert, Joseph and Grace, dearest son of Marie (nee Barr) and the late Johnny, (both of Derry), treasured brother of John, Neal and Michaela, dearly missed son-in-law, brother-in-law, nephew, cousin, uncle, friend and colleague.

Wake to be held from his family home in Manchester from Tuesday, December 3 from 2pm to 10pm, all welcome.

The death has occurred of Jimmy Ruddy (JR), Mitchelstown, Ture, Muff.

Mr Ruddy passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Friday, November 29.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his loving brother Barney (Leeds), sister Sadie (Portnoo), extended family, friends and neighbours.

Remains will be reposing at the residence of Stephen and Majella McConnellogue, Mitchelstown, Ture, Muff where you are welcome to pay your respect.

Removal from there on Monday morning, December 2 at 10.15am to Sacred Heart Church, Muff for requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in St. Patrick’s Graveyard, Iskaheen.

The death has occurred of Hugh (Hughie) Crawford, Coolatee (Smokey), Lifford.

Mr Crawford passed away in his home on Saturday, November 30.

Lovingly missed by his wife Rose, daughters and son Tanya (Daniel), Katriona, Camilla (Joe), Stacey (PJ), Kim (Shane), David (Charlotte) and Alisha (Eoghan), his 13 grandchildren, his brothers and sisters Betty, Eddie, Myra, Deirdre and Aiden, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and all his extended family and friends.

Hugh was predeceased by his parents Hughie and Myra and sister Helena.

Hugh will be reposing at his late residence to 11pm Sunday, December 1.

The death has taken place of Ryan Doherty, Beraghvale Close, Derry, beloved son of Brian Doherty and Geraldine O’Neill (née McKeever) and stepson of the late John O’Neill.

Much loved brother of Raymond (Laura) and Lynsey (Ryan). Darling daddy of Ryan and Rebecka, adored grandson of Molly McKeever and much loved uncle of Rachael.

Ryan will be sadly missed by all his aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

Ryan will be reposing at his mother’s Geraldine’s residence Boyagh, Porthall, Lifford F93 KPK2 on Monday from 12pm to 9pm.

Dolores Devenney, Letterkenny and Laghey

The death has occurred of Dolores Devenney, 28 Fernhill, Letterkenny and Laghey.

Ms Devenney, who is a former nurse at Letterkenny University Hospital, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 27.

Pre deceased by her mother Evelyn and father Bernard.

Sadly missed by her sisters, Margaret (Bullen), Nuala (Lowther), Edel (McNeely), and her brothers Brian and Thomas, brothers-in-law John (Bullen) and Bernard (McNeely), her cousin Maura (Tunney), nieces Samantha (Lowther and family) and Rhiannon (McNeely).

Her remains will Repose at Tir Connell funeral home, Drumrooske, Donegal Town, F94FX3A on Sunday afternoon, December 1 from 1 pm to 4.15 pm following by removing to St Brigid’s Church, Ballintra for 5 pm to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass on Monday morning, December 2 at 11 am.

Followed by private cremation.
