Willie Davis, Milford

The peaceful death has taken place at his home of Willie Davis, Glenalla, Milford, F92 Y447.

Deeply regretted by his sisters Margaret (William), Rosemary, Irene (Sean), Jean (Ken), Heather (Tom), Sylvia (Brian), brother Ronnie (Louise), sisters-in-law Patricia and Rita, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents Bobby and Emily, sister Georgina, brothers Robert, Noel and Edwin.

Reposing at his home today, Sunday, August 31.

Funeral service at his home on Monday, September 1st at 2pm, followed by burial in Bank Cemetery, Ramelton.

Ernest Luther, Rossbracken

The peaceful death has taken place of Ernest Luther, Green Gables, Rossbracken (F92HHW6) in the Donegal Hospice after a short illness.

Predeceased by his wife Ann, brothers Ronnie and John.

Ernie will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Pam and Betty, his nieces, nephews, wider family circle, neighbours and friends, especially Fiona.

His remains will repose at his home today, Sunday, August 31.

Funeral leaving from his home on Monday, September 1 at 10.45am for 11.30am funeral Mass in The Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny, followed by burial in Drumoghill cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to The Donegal Hospice, care of Terence McClintock Funeral Director.

Joseph Leppard, Killea and Derry

The death has occurred of Joseph Leppard, Killea and formerly Melmore Gardens, Creggan, Derry.

Mr Leppard passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 29.

Much loved father of Orla, Caoimhe and Cillian.

Sorely missed by Annette, son-in-law Michael, Yue and Pádhraic, his beloved grandchildren Ruairi and Tadhg and much loved brother and uncle.
Reposing at his home in Killea on Sunday, August 31 from 3pm to 7pm.

Funeral will take place on Monday, September 1 at 10am in St. Eugene’s Cathedral, followed by burial at Derry City Cemetery.

Philomena Griffin, Falcarragh

The death has occurred of Philomena Griffin (née Sheerin), Ballyness, Falcarragh.

Ms Griffin passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 30.

Predeceased by her husband James, son Thomas, son in law John Kilcullen, her parents Charles and Bridget, sisters Madge and Christie, Eileen and Frank, her brother Brother Patrick and sisters in law Brid, Margaret and Stjohn and brother in law Paddy.

Survived by her daughters Ann Marie and Aonghus Buckley, Margaret and Josephine, daughter in law Alice, grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sister Kathleen Gallagher, sisters in law Nora and Máire and Paddy, nieces, nephews and a circle of family and friends.

Her remains are reposing at her home with wake commencing today Sunday, August 31from 2pm until 9pm with Rosary at 9pm.

House private after the Rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Mick Gallen, Ballybofey and Tyrone

The death has occurred of Mick Gallen, Meenglass Road, Ballybofey and Aghyaran, Tyrone.

Mr Gallen passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, August 29.

Beloved husband of Mary, much loved father of Gary (Kay) and Sinéad (Shaun), loving granda of Emily, Jamie, Andrew and baby Aaron, dearest brother of Gerard, Kathleen, Anne, Seamus, Brian, Eugene and the late Maryrose and Bernard, cherished son of the late Brian and Bridget (Altgoland).

Reposing at the family home on Sunday, August 31until the rosary at 9pm and on Monday, September 1from 11 am until the rosary at 9 pm.

Funeral from the family home on Tuesday, September 2 at 10.20 am for requiem Mass at 11 am in The Church Of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar.

Interment afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery.

Brendan O’Kane, Castlefinn

The death has occurred of Brendan O’Kane, 602 Liscooley Villas, Castlefinn.

Mr O’Kane passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on Friday, August 29.

Beloved husband of Kathleen, much loved father of Brenda and Rónán (Sinéad), loving brother of Teresa (Gillespie), Hugo, Noel and the late Seamus and Kevin, cherished son of the late Mary-Jane and Michael.
Reposing at the family home (602, Liscooley Villas, Castlefin F93 XR0C).

Funeral from the family home on Monday, September 1 at 11.30 am for requiem Mass at 12 noon in St Mary’s Church, Castlefinn.

Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Castlefin.

The Mass can be viewed on the parish webcam.

Family time please from 11pm until 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Seamus Logue, Belfast and Carrigart

The death has occurred of Seamus Logue, Gransha Rise, Belfast and Carrigart, Donegal.

Mr Logue passed away at the Royal Hospital, Belfast, surrounded by his family on Friday, August 29.

Beloved son of the late John and Winifred Logue.

Husband of Leontia, loving father to Sarah and Ciarán and grandfather to Clara and Rosa.

Seamus will be reposing in the chapel of rest at Healy Brothers, 56 Andersonstown Rd, Belfast on Sunday until 3pm.

He will then be reposing at the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny on Monday from 6pm to 8pm.

His funeral will be held at St John The Baptist Church, Carrigart at 11am on Tuesday followed by burial at adjoining cemetery.

He is predeceased by his sister Susie and his brothers James, Paddy and Michael. He is survived by his brothers Owen and Hughie and his sister Mary.
