Cronán O’Donnell, Ramelton

The peaceful death has occurred of Cronán O’Donnell, 6 Elm Court, Ramelton, F92 D528, in the caring hands of the staff of the Mater Hospital, Dublin, after a short illness.

Cronán will be forever loved and missed by his heartbroken family, wife Denise, children Kyra, Niamh, Calvagh and Naoise.

Cherished son of Mary and Eamonn (deceased) Killycreen, Ramelton.

Much loved brother of Evita Doherty (Charlie), Moville, Eamonn (Orla), Ramelton and Emer O’Neill (Conn), Derry.

Cronán will be very sadly missed by his extended McDaid family, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his home on Saturday, October 11 and on Sunday from 12 noon until 10pm each day.

Funeral Mass on Monday, October 13 at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Ramelton.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Rosaleen Connolly, Lifford

The death took place on Friday of Rosaleen Connolly (née Harte), 4 Cluain Laoi, Coneyburrow Road, Lifford.

Beloved wife of the late Rory, much loved mother of Donal, Eileen, Roisin, Rory and the late baby Roger, dearly loved grandmother of Rosie, Darragh, Isabella and Owen and sister of Eileen, Dessie and the late Billy, John, Brian and Thomas.

Reposing at her home.

Funeral leaving her home on Sunday, October 12 at 11.45am for Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Murlog at 12.30pm.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sons, daughters, grandchildren, brother, sister and family circle.

Grace Mary Norton, Antrim and Fintown

The death occurred on Wednesday, October 8 of Grace Mary Norton, (née McDevitt), Ballyclare, Co Antrim and formerly  Fintown, peacefully in her 99th year.

Beloved wife of the late Joe. Much loved mother of Deirdre, Eamonn, Peter and Grainne, mother-in-law of Paula, Joanne, Conor and the late Andrew. A devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. 

Grace will be reposing at 101 Boghill Road, Templepatrick, BT39 0HS from Monday, October 13. 

Requiem Mass will be held in St Bernard’s Church, 165 Antrim Road, Glengormley on Thursday, October 16 at 9.45am, followed by committal at Antrim and Newtownabbey Crematorium at 3pm. 

No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Children’s Hospice online via flemingandcuthbert.co.uk.

Elizabeth Buchanan, Milford

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Elizabeth (Liz) Buchanan, Rosgarrow, Milford, F92 H6R3.

Reposing at her late residence in Rosgarrow on Friday evening and from 12 noon until 10pm on Saturday, October 11.

Funeral Service at her home on Sunday afternoon, October 12 at 2pm, followed by interment in Milford Cemetery.

Family flowers only.

Dominic McGinley, Carrigart

The death has taken place of Dominick (Dim) McGinley, Aughalatty, Carrigart.

He died peacefully at the Donegal Hospice surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his wife, Mary. Sadly missed by his family, Sheila, Noel, Annmarie, Eileen, Grainne, and sons-in-law, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Reposing at his home.

Funeral Mass in St John the Baptist Church at 11am on Saturday, October 11, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Brian Lafferty, Malin Town and formerly Glengad

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Brian Lafferty, Millbrook Terrace, Malin Town (F93 C5P6) and formerly of Bunn, Glengad.

Predeceased by his wife, Mary Margaret and daughter, Deirdre. He was the much loved father of Kieran (Kristen), Anne (Patrick), Helen (Joe) and Madeleine (Giles), and devoted granda of Caolán, Keely, Leah, Saoirse, Ella and Emily.

He will be deeply regretted by his nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Brian’s remains are reposing at his home.

Bríd McGlinchey, Glencolmcille

The peaceful death has occurred at her home of Bríd McGlinchey (née McGuire) in her 94th year surrounded by her loving family. 

Predeceased by her husband, Paddy, daughter, Christina Byrne, brother, John James, sisters, Anna, Mary Kate and Una. 

Very sadly missed by her loving family, sons, Seamus, Patrick and John, daughters, Josephine and Claire, her sister, Sr. Sarah McGuire, daughter-in-law, Margaret, sons-in-law, Paddy Byrne, Eddie McLoone and Tony Winsall, grandchildren, Laurena, Colm, Aisling, Eamonn, Sharon, Louise, Pauric and Emma, great-grandson Oisin, nieces and nephews. 

Remains reposing at her residence on Saturday from 12 noon until rosary at 9pm. House private at all other times. 

Funeral Mass at 11am on Sunday, October 12 in St Columba’s Church, Cashel, Glencolmcille with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

F.A. Conway, Bundoran

The death took place on Friday of F.A. Conway (Francis Anthony), Doran Close, East End, Bundoran and formerly of Crockanboy Rd, Greencastle, Co. Tyrone, suddenly at home.

F.A. will be forever remembered and sadly missed by Eileen, sons, Raymond, Ruairi and Ryan, daughters, Michelle and Francesca, his brother, P.J., his sisters, Kathleen, Monica, Sarah, Rosemary, Bernadette, Geraldine and Pauline, his beloved grandchildren, Amy, Megan, James, Matthew, Ella, Lauren, Emily, Isabella and Isla, his brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and all his many relatives, neighbours and friends. 

Predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary Rose Conway.

Reposing at Breslin’s Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran F94E92F on Saturday from 12 noon to 3pm followed by removal to his son, Ruairi’s home at 352 Crockanboy Rd, Greencastle, Co. Tyrone BT798HD to repose from 7.30pm on Saturday evening.

Removal from there at 11.20am on Monday, October 13 to St. Patrick’s Church, Greencastle, Co. Tyrone for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time from 11pm to 10am.

Stephen Clarke, Moville

The peaceful death has taken place at his home, surrounded by all his loving family, of Stephen Clarke, Glenburnie, Moville.

Predeceased by his father, Michael Clarke.

Cherished son of Joan and beloved husband of Margaret and much loved father of Ciaran, Leonie, Carla, Courtney and Tristan and step-father of Rebecca and Mikayla.

Devoted grandad of Cillian, Raya, Noah, Oisin and Harper.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sisters, Helen, Joanne, Paula, Treasa, Stephanie and Michaela, nieces and nephews, wider family circle, friends and family neighbours.

Stephen’s remains are reposing at his home, (F93 X3D1).

Funeral from there on Sunday, October 12 at 1pm for 1.30pm Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Ballybrack followed in Interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Eamonn Martin, Fanad

The death has taken place of Eamonn Martin, Shannagh, Ballylar, Fanad.

He died peacefully at the Donegal Hospice surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents, Tom and Peggy, and his sisters, Mary Chappell and Katie Gibbons.

Deeply regretted by his brother, Michael (retired Garda, Thorn Road Letterkenny), and cousin, John (Cashel, Fanad).

Sadly missed by his extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Eamonn’s remains are reposing at his late residence (F92 X678).

Removal from there on Saturday morning, October 11 at 10.30am, going to St Mary’s Church, Fanavolty, Fanad for requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

The requiem Mass will be recorded, and later uploaded on the Mc Ateer Funeral Directors Facebook page.

Margaret Bonner, Annagry

The peaceful death has taken place of Margaret Bonner, née Forker, at her home in Annagry surrounded by her loving sons, James, Michael and daughter, Jackie, daughter-in-law, Maria and son-in-law, Michael.

Predeceased by her husband, Joe, parents, Mickey and Rosie Forker, her sister, Mary-Ellen and brothers, Joe, Donal and Owenie.

Sadly missed by her brothers, Willie, Paddy and Michael, in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchild, nieces, nephews and wider family and friends.

Oliver Allen, Muff

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Oliver Allen, Aught Road, Muff.

Loving husband of Anna and much-loved father of Bobby and Lisa Toland.

Deeply regretted by his brother, Dan and his sister, Margaret.

Sadly missed by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

His remains are reposing at his late residence.

Removal from there on Saturday at 10.15am going to the Sacred Heart Church, Muff for 11am requiem Mass followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Sr Helen McGinty, Donegal Town, Letterkenny and Balbriggan

The death has occurred of Sr Helen McGinty, Clar, Donegal Town and formerly of Loreto Convent, Balbriggan and Loreto Convent, Letterkenny.

Sr McGinty passed away peacefully at the Beaumont Hospital on Wednesday, October 8.

Predeceased by her parents, mother, Brigid Toher and father, Bernard.

Deeply regretted by her Loreto Community, her sisters, Kathleen Meehan (Seamus RIP), Noreen Rooney (Peter) and Mai MacAuley (Gerry).

Greatly missed by her loving nieces and nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great-grand-nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Arriving at St Agatha’s Church, Clar, F94 N821  on Friday, October 10 at approximately 6 pm.

Charlie Logan, Raphoe

The death has occurred of Charlie Logan, London and formerly of The Diamond, Raphoe.

Mr Logan passed away in London on October 3.

Charlie is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his devoted wife, Kathleen, his children, Emma, Brian, and Kevin, his cherished grandchildren, his brother, Ollie, sisters Etta, Gertie and Jean, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.

He will be fondly remembered by all his family in London, Raphoe, and his connections in Buncrana.

Charlie was predeceased by his beloved parents, Charlie and Sadie Logan, and his brothers, Tommy and Willie.

The funeral service for Charlie is at the Roman Catholic Church of St Paul, Harefield on Thursday, October 16 at 11am.

A short service with prayers will also be held at the church on Wednesday, October 15 at 7pm.

After the service, you are warmly invited to join Charlie’s family at The Shamrock Sports and Social Club to share a drink and memories in his honour.

Michael Friel, Kerry and Clonmany

The death has occurred of Michael Friel, Leedale, Caherslee, Tralee, Co Kerry and formerly of Dunaff, Clonmany.

Mr Friel passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 8.

He is the beloved husband of Breda and dearest father of James and Michael.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his grandchildren, Elly and Rowan, daughters-in-law, Brenda and Sarah, brothers, Danny, Bernard, Gerard, Christy and John, sister, Teresa Ann, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

Michael will repose at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee, on Friday, October 10 from 6pm to 8 pm.

Funeral arriving to Our Lady & St. Brendan’s Church, Tralee on Saturday at 12.30 pm where the requiem Mass for Michael will be celebrated at 1pm (streamed on www.stbrendansparishtralee.net).

The funeral will be followed by private cremation.
