The death has occurred of Audrey Alexander, Kinnycally, St Johnston, Donegal on 13th December 2024 peacefully at home Kinnycally St Johnston, beloved wife of the late Samuel, loving Mother of David, George, Merle(Tuck), Nixon(Siobhan),Marcus(Caroline)and the late Julie,also a devoted Grandmother. Funeral service in St Johnston Presbyterian Church at 2pm on Monday 16th December, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery, house private,family flowers only,donations if wished in lieu to The Oncology department Letterkenny Hospital Kilmacrennan Road Letterkenny. The death has occurred of Richard Gaughan, Coughlan Avenue, Frosses, Donegal. Peacefully at Donegal Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his baby grandson Jamie, his parents Nora and Michael, his brother Eamonn, and his sisters Sarah and Mary. Sadly missed by his wife Bridget, his sons Edward (Aoife), Darren (Christine) and Declan (Ashling), and his cherished grandsons AJ, Matthew, and Cian. Deeply regretted by his sisters Bridie (Eddie), Annie (Sean), and Theresa, nieces and nephews. May He Rest In Peace. His remains will repose at Gallaghers Funeral Home, Station Road, Mountcharles, F94X02N today (Friday 13th December) from 6pm to 9pm and Saturday (14th December) from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral mass on Sunday (15th December) in the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Frosses at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in Cranny Road cemetery. Family flowers only, please. The death has occurred of Eugene Mc Menamin, The Brae, Rathmullan, Donegal, Mc Menamin, Eugene, The Brae, Rathmullan, Co. Donegal, December 11th, 2024, in Galway University Hospital. Deeply regretted by his children; Brian (Sarah), Ruth (Steven), Rachel (Cormac), his 6 grandchildren; Kate, Emily, David, Luke, Aoibhinn and Kate, his sisters Mary and Nora, relatives, friends and neighbours. Removal to St Joseph’s Church, Rathmullan on Saturday December 14th arriving at 4pm to repose overnight. Funeral Mass on Sunday December 15th at 1.30pm. The death has occurred of Kathleen Toolan N.T., (née O’Boyce) ‘Avalon,’ Fr. Griffin Road, Galway, and formerly of Port Road, Letterkenny. Kathleen passed away peacefully at home on Thursday 12th December. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Jack. Cherished mother of Shane, Noel, and Brian, and adored grandmother of Claire, Niamh, Sara, Vanessa, Michael, David, and Phillip. Lovingly remembered by her daughters-in-law, Sharon and Ger, as well as her nieces, nephews, extended family, former students and colleagues, and by her devoted carer, Zeny, May Kathleen’s gentle soul rest in peace. Reposing at Conneely’s Funeral Home, Flood Street, Galway (H91 A786), on Sunday, 15th December, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Arriving to St. Ignatius’ Church (The Jes), Sea Road the following morning, Monday 16th December. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial in Rahoon Cemetery, where Kathleen will be reunited with her beloved husband, Jack.
