Georgina Doherty (née Long), Dublin and Bruckless

The death has occurred of Georgina Doherty (née Long), Deansgrange, Dublin and formerly Bruckless.

Ms Doherty passed away peacefully in her 95th year, in the loving care of her family and the wonderful staff of Dargle Valley Nursing Home on Friday, September 6.

Beloved wife of the late Jack, loving mother of Janet, Derek and the late Robert, mother-in-law of Patrick and Laura and adored Didi of Jonathan, Julian, Samuel, Pippa-Jordan, Kia, Aisling, Alba and Dara; she will be sadly missed by all her family, relatives and friends.

Service of Thanksgiving on Friday, September 13, at 11am in Dundrum Methodist Church, followed by interment in Shanganagh Cemetery.

Donations, if desired, to Christian Aid Ireland.

Evan Craig, Muff

The death has occurred of Evan Craig, Ballyboe, Ture, Muff.

Mr Craig passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, September 8.

Cherished son of Grace and Joe and much loved brother of Ciara (Darragh) and Orla (Caolin), loving boyfriend of Cloda.

A much loved grandson of Annie McColgan and uncle of Ellie and Anna.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his aunties and uncles, cousins, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

May Evan Rest in Peace.

Evan’s remains are now reposing at his home where you are all welcome to pay your respects.

Funeral from there on Wednesday, September 11t at 2.15pm for 3pm funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church Muff followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.

Patrick Joseph (Joe) Reilly, Kerrykeel

The death has occurred of Patrick Joseph (Joe) Reilly, Ballymagowan, Kerrykeel.

Peacefully at home after a short illness surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his wife, Bridie and his son Kieran.

Much loved father, father in law, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. Sadly missed and always remembered by his family, neighbours and many friends.

Joe’s remains will arrive at St Mary’s Fanavolty, Fanad for prayers at 7pm today, Monday, September 9.

Funeral on Tuesday at 11am with burial in the adjoining cemetery

John McLaughlin, Moville

The peaceful death took place on Saturday of John McLaughlin, Rose Cottage, Moville.

He was the beloved husband of his loving wife Nuala and devoted father of Jonathan, Catriona (Ronan) and Fiona (Ray) and proud frandfather of Charlie, Alfie and Harry.

John’s remains are reposing at his home in Rose Collage, where you are all welcome to pay your respects.

Funeral from there this morning, Monday, September 9 at 10.30am for 11am Funeral Mass in St Pius X Church, Moville, followed by Interment Ballybrack graveyard.

Susan McGee, Carrigans

The death has occurred in Arch View Nursing home of Susan McGee, Dunmore, Carrigans.

Susan will be lovingly missed by her sons and daughters, brothers and sister, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all her extended family and friends.

Susan was predeceased by her husband Bernard.

Funeral cortege will be leaving her late residence this morning, Monday, September 9 at 10.30am going to St Baithin’s Church, St Johnston for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Maria Devlin

The death has taken place of Maria Devlin, Tullan Strand, Bundoran and formerly of Sixmilecross, Co. Tyrone, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of all at Aras Mhic Suibhne Nursing Home, Mullinasole, Laghey.

Beloved wife of the late Joe and loving mother of the late Gerard.

Deeply regretted and forever remembered by her loving family, son Joseph, daughters Ita, Maeve and Stella, her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all her many relatives, neighbours and friends

Mass of the Resurrection will take place this morning, Monday, September 9 at Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran at 11am.

Removal afterwards to St. Ninnidh’s Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran for burial service.

Duncan Doherty, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Duncan Doherty, 85 Ard O’Donnell, Letterkenny.

Mr Doherty passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Friday, September 6.

Deeply missed by his brother Jim (England), niece Philomena Gildea (Correnagh, Letterkenny), nephews Ciaran Doherty (Lisnennan, Letterkenny), Michael Doherty (England) and Lee Doherty (England), grand nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Duncan is predeceased by his parents Duncan and Madgeina and his brother Liam.

Requiem Mass will take place today, Monday, September 9 at 11am in St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny. Interment afterwards in New Leck Cemetery.

Patrica Devine, Lifford and Strabane

The death has occurred of Patrica Devine, 6 Bridge View, Lifford and formerly of 95 Innisfree Gardens, Strabane.

Ms Devine passed away peacefully but suddenly at Letterkenny University Hospital on Thursday, September 5.

Much loved mother of Shaun (Denise), Rebecca (Gareth) and Patrick (Mary), loving granny of Erin, Thomas, Aíne, Alfie, Charlie, Emir and Kai, dearest sister of Maryann, Cathy, Tommy, Michael, Gerry and the late Seamus, Brian, Andy and Frankie, cherished daughter of the late John and Rebecca.

Cremation will take place at a later date.

Very deeply regretted and sadly missed by her entire family circle.

Mary Mc Gonagle (née Doherty), Buncrana

The death has occurred of Mary Mc Gonagle (née Doherty), Rockytown, Buncrana.

Ms Mc Gonagle passed away suddenly at Letterkenny University Hospital on Thursday, September 5.

Beloved wife of John, much loved mother of Caoife and James .

Much loved sister of Annette Mc Daid, Elaine Doherty and Kevin Doherty.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her husband, daughter, son, sisters, brother, nieces and nephews her extended family, friends and neighbours.

Requiem Mass this morning, Monday, September 9 at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Cockhill.

Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
