The death has occurred of Eileen Warren, Kildoney, Ballyshannon.

Ms Warren passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving and caring family in the comfort of her home on Sunday, February 22.

Devoted wife of John (Sean). Dearly loved mother of Martin (Mairead), Aidan (Alison) and Majella (Mark) and her baby boy John, born sleeping.

Beloved grandmother to her 9 grandchildren. Kelsie, Dáire, Gerry, Nessa, Katelyn, JJ, Grace, Elodie and baby Callum.

Her passing is deeply regretted by her sister, Mary (Anthony RIP) and sister in law Marian,Tony, Teresa and Gerard.

Her nephews, Stephen and Charles, nieces, Joan and Margaret, extended family, wide circle of beloved neighbours, friends and ceili dancers.

Reposing at her home (F94 K5T6) today and tomorrow, Tuesday from 2pm to 8pm.

Removal on Wednesday, February 25 to St Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon for 11am funeral Mass with burial afterwards in The Abbey Cemetery.

There will be a one way system in operation for the wake, entry via Heron’s Cove and exit via Creevy cross roads.

Kapil Verma, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Kapil Verma, 10 McNeely Villas, Letterkenny.

Mr Verma passed away peacefully at his late residence on Sunday, February 22.

Beloved husband of Margaret and devoted father of Mark (Paula), Jason, Gavin (Dympna), and Sheena (Damien).

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family, neighbours, and many friends.

Reposing at his late residence today from 2pm until 9pm, and Tuesday, February 24, from 12 noon until 9pm.

All are welcome to attend and pay your respects.

Cremation will take place on Wednesday, February 24 at 11am in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Susan Traynor, Derry and formerly Kilmacrennan

The death has taken place of Susan Traynor (née McGettigan), 8 Dunkeld Avenue Derry and formerly of Kilmacrenan.

She died on Saturday, peacefully at Culmore Manor, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Beloved wife of the late Laurence, loving mother of Christine, Jacqueline, Laurence and Evelyn, mother-in-law of Martin, Philip, Orla and Patrick, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, dear sister of Mary and the late Daniel, Rose, Catherine, Edward and John, and a loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from her late residence this morning at 9.30am for 10am requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn.

Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery.

John Hegarty, Letterkenny

The peaceful death took place on Saturday in the wonderful care of the staff at the Donegal Hospice, of John Hegarty, Lisnaneese, Letterkenny, F92 K5C2.

Predeceased by his parents, James and Martha, brothers, Pat and Fr James and sisters, Kathleen Gallagher (Derry), Mary Crossley (Lancashire) and Rosaleen Conaghan (Rathdonnell).

Sadly missed by his wife, Frances, sons, Seamus (Joanne) and Paul, daughters, Marie and Marguerite (Damien), his beloved grandchildren, Ryan, Aimee, Aoibhinn, Dáithí and Cillian, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his home this morning from 11am until 10pm.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Gortlee, Letterkenny.

Interment afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.

Rosary at 9pm.

Katherine Mary Maguire, Cavan, Fermanagh and Raphoe

The death has taken place of Katherine Mary Maguire (née Carlin), The Birches, Ballyconnell, Co Cavan, formerly of Munville House, Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh, and The Diamond, Raphoe.

Katherine passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 19.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas Frederick Maguire, dearly loved mother of Tom and Helen, adored grandma of Eva and Joshua, cherished mother-in-law to Niall (McSharry) and James (Shannon), and darling sister of John and Hugh Carlin and esteemed sster-in-law to Andrew Maguire.

Predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Breda Carlin (née Hickey).

A Funeral Service in celebration of Katherine’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 25 at 11am in Holy Cross Church, 24 Knocks Road, Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh BT92 0FL.

Burial afterwards in Holy Cross Church graveyard.

The death has taken place, peacefully in the Donegal Hospice, of Trevor Gallagher, 170 St Mary’s Terrace, Ramelton, F92 T0H4, and Sliabh Glas House, Carnamuggagh, Letterkenny.

Deeply regretted by his loving sisters and brothers, Mary, Monica (Paddy), Damien, Shirley (Jimmy), Charley, Kim (James) and Annmarie (Colin), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, Philomena and Dan, and his brother, Daniel.

The death has occurred at her home of Mary King, Fallask, Drumfries and formerly Pound Cottages, Burt.

Beloved wife of Mike, cherished mother of Fiona, Wendy Hegarty (Laurence), Sean, Nikki and Emma (Sonny).

Dear sister of Jim, Robert and Margaret McLaughlin.

Predeceased by her brothers, Eamon, John and Cathal, sister, Madge and grandson, Calan.

Deeply mourned and will be forever missed by her loving husband, son, daughters, grandchildren, brothers, sister, extended family and friends.

Mary’s remains are reposing at her daughter, Wendy Hegarty’s home at Grange, Inch Island F93 D9W9 where you are all welcome to pay your respects.

Removal from there this afternoon at 1.15pm to St Aengus’ Church, Burt for requiem Mass at 2pm, followed by interment in Burt Cemetery.

The sudden death has occurred of Christy Molloy, Loughrea, Co. Galway and formerly of The Rock, Glenties.

Predeceased by his parents, Rose and John, and his baby niece, Aisling.

Sadly missed by his sisters, Mary (Edward R.I.P), Rosaleen, Anne (Pat), Edel (Tony), and brother, Julian (Patricia), his nieces, nephews, grand-niece and grand-nephew, his many friends and neighbours.

Removal from Shovlin’s Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara this morning at 10.25am to St Connell’s Church, Glenties for requiem Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Patsy Gallagher, Bridgend

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice of Patsy Gallagher, 271 Skeoge Cottages, Bridgend.

Much loved father of Selena and Anita and dear brother of Eileen Devine and Angela Friel.

Predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret, sisters, Margaret Callaghan, Rose Coyle, Francis Walsh and brother, John.

Deeply mourned and will be forever missed by his loving daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchild, sisters, brother, wider family circle and friends.

Patsy’s remains are reposing at his late residence where you are all welcome to pay your respects.

Rosie Woods, Louth and Ballybofey

The death has occurred of Rosie Woods (née Byrne), Coventry, England and formerly of Drumgoolestown, Stabannon, Co Louth and Ballybofey.

Ms Woods passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8.

Predeceased by her parents, Patrick and Bridget and brother, Pat.

Rosie will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband, Robert, daughter, Laura and sons, Steven, Paul and George, son-in-law, Ryan and daughters-in-law, Sarah, Kelly and Emma, brothers, Tommy and Harry, adored grandchildren and great-grandson, sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends in England, Stabannon and Donegal.

Rosie’s funeral will take place in Coventry on Thursday, March 5.
