Molly Stack, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Molly Stack (née Roe) , Donegal Town and formerly Galway and England.

Ms Stack passed away peacefully in the care of the Donegal Hospice on Saturday, June 28.

She was a loving mother to Portia and Jon, who were by her side when she passed. Predeceased by her former husband Neville.

Molly will be deeply missed by her family, cherished grandchildren; Alice, Luke, Jacob, Ruth, and Jack, and by her many great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.

Family and friends are warmly invited to gather and celebrate Molly’s life at her home — Cois Farraige, The Glebe, Donegal Town — today, June 30, from 3pm to 9pm.

Donations if desired, can be made to the Blue Stack Foundation and Donegal Hospice.

Patrick (Pat) O’Doherty, Dublin and Buncrana

The death has occurred of Patrick O’Doherty, Clondalkin, Dublin and formerly Buncrana and London.

Mr O’Doherty passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Moyglare Nursing Home, Maynooth on Saturday, June 28.

Predeceased by his sister Sara and brothers John and Bill.

So sadly missed and forever remembered by his nephew Garrett, nieces Jo, Nessa, Micheline, Ann, Brona, Orla, Marie, Emer and Martine, cousin Francis, grand nieces, grand nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home in Clondalkin on Tuesday, July 1 between 5pm and 7pm. Removal to Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clondalkin in time for Requiem Mass on Wednesday, July 2 at 10am with Cremation thereafter in Newlands Cross Crematorium.

Anthony Doherty, Dungloe

The death has occurred of Anthony Doherty, Main Street, Dungloe.

Mr Doherty passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving family on Sunday, June 29.

Sadly missed by his beloved wife Nan and family Seamus (Karolyne), Catherine Kelly (Tony), Patricia White (Hugh), Mary Frances (Patrick) and Eimer, also his grandchildern /great-grand child, nieces and nephews, his brother Dinny (Mary Joe) and all the extended family members.

Predeceased by his daughter Lorna.

Remains reposing at Mc Glynns Funeral Home Dungloe, today, Monday from 12pm to 8pm with rosary at 8pm followed by private removal to his home on Main Street.
Reposing at his home on Tuesday with family time after the rosary at 8pm and on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Crona’s Church Dungloe followed by interment in Dungloe Cemetery.

Family flowers only please with donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice.

Bridget Devine, Lifford  

The death took place on Sunday, June 29 of Bridget Devine, Main Street, Lifford.

Beloved daughter of the late Bella and Hugh Devine and much-loved sister of Isabel, Tina and the late Gertie, Mary and Tony.

Remains reposing at her home.

Funeral leaving there on Tuesday, July 1 at 11.20am for Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Murlog, Lifford at 12 noon.

Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing sisters, nieces, nephews and family circle.

Family time please from 10pm until 11am and on the morning of the funeral

Mary Boyce Ramelton 

The peaceful death has taken place in the Donegal Hospice of Mary Boyce (née Mc Garvey), 2 Pound Street, Ramelton, F92 V6P1.

Predeceased by her husband, Teddy and son, Charles. Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter, Audrey, sons, Dominic, Edward, Tony, Fr Declan, Garvan, Seamus and Joseph, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, Kathleen, extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass today, June 30 at 2pm in St. Mary’s Church, Ramelton.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

John Doherty, Kerrykeel

The peaceful death has taken place at his home of John Doherty, Ranny, Kerrykeel, F92 P2C4.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, Mary, son, John Paul, daughter, Colette, daughter-in-law Noleen, son-in-law Eugene, eight grandchildren, brothers, Thomas and Hugh, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Mary, and his brother, Brendan.

Requiem Mass today, June 30 at 11am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Kerrykeel. Burial afterwards in Rathmullan Cemetery.

Michael O’Leary, Dublin and Carndonagh

Michael O’Leary, originally from Carn Domhnach, Donegal, late of Drumcondra, Dublin) passed away at his home on June 20.

Proud husband of the late Margaret and loving father of Rebecca and Andrew. Sadly missed by his son-in-law, Graham, daughter-in-law, Michelle and grandchildren, Natasha, James, Jacques and Hugo.

Funeral Mass today, June 30 at 10am at the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road, followed by a private cremation service.

Martina Connors, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Martina Connors of 3 Neil T Blaney Road, Letterkenny. Mrs Connors died peacefully in Letterkenny University Hospital.

Predeceased by husband Mickey, three sons and one daughter. Sorely missed by sons, Danny, Michael, Austin, Tommy, Miley, Charlie, John and Jimmy, and daughters Pearl, Margaret, Nellie, Tina and Annie.

Fondly remembered by her sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, all extended family members and friends.

Martina’s remains will be reposing in Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny, (F92 XE35) on Tuesday evening, July 1, 5pm – 8pm, all welcome.

Funeral Mass in St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Wednesday  July 2 at 11am, followed by interment in Leck Cemetery.
