Cornie McNamee, Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Cornie McNamee, 210 Ros Suilighe, Letterkenny.

Deeply missed by his brothers Hugo, TJ, Danny and Liam, sister Bernadette, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Cornie is predeceased by his parents Tommy and Bridie.

His remains will arrive at St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny on Tuesday  at 6pm to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass there on Wednesday at 11am which can be viewed live on www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny.  Interment afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.

Theresa Gallagher, Churchill

The peaceful death has taken place of Theresa Gallagher (née O’Donnell), Derrora, Churchill.

Funeral Mass in St. Columba’s Church, Glenswilly on Wednesday, January 15 at 11am followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Nora Sheridan, Coolboy, Letterkenny

The peaceful death has taken place in Letterkenny University Hospital of Nora Sheridan, Coolboy, Letterkenny, F92 NWP8.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, Germaine, Ellen, Frances, John, William, Ann, Robert, Patricia, Patrick, Michael, sons-in-law Martin, John, Liam and Martin, daughters-in-law Ruth, Teresa, Anne and Mary, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, brothers Liam and Alex, sisters Frances and Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Predeceased by her husband William Gerard, son Martin, daughter Claire, sons-in-law Tommy and Michael, brothers Bobby and Neil, sisters Ellen and Peggy.

Reposing at her home.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 1pm in St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny with burial afterwards in New Leck Cemetery.

Bernadette Temple, Raphoe

The death has taken place at the Donegal Hospice of Bernadette (Bernie) Temple, Townparks, Raphoe, F93FW29.

Predeceased by her cherished husband Vincent Temple and baby daughter Catherine, her parents Annie-Rose and James Quinn, her sister Josephine and brothers Bobby, Barry and Jamsie. 

She will be deeply missed by her loving sons Stephen, Cathal, Austin, daughter Catherine, daughters-in-law Adeline, Maureen, Michelle and son-in-law John, grandchildren Christopher, Alicia, Barry, Gareth, Conor, Ellen, Aaron, Ben, Emma, Jay, Lewis and Cian, great-grandchildren Cora, Luke, Denver and Jesse. 

Bernie will be forever cherished by her sisters Ann and Dolly, nieces, nephews, her wider family circle, neighbours and friends. 

Her remains will repose at her home from 12 noon to 10pm on Monday and also on Tuesday, January 14. 

Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday, January 15 at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only please,donations in lieu if desired to the Donegal Hospice care of any family member or Terence McClintock Funeral Director. 

Rosary each night at 9pm.

Jack Kelly, Stranorlar

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Jack Kelly, Glebe, Stranorlar. 

Beloved husband of Peggy, much loved father of the late Ronan, cherished brother of Seamus, Danny and Lorna.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his loving wife, brothers, sisters, extended family, and friends. 

Reposing at McCool’s Chapel of Rest, Ballybofey on Monday and Tuesday from 6pm until Rosary at 9pm. 

Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday at 10.30am to the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar, for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Interment in Drumboe Cemetery.

Sean Temple, Killygordon

The death has occurred of Sean Temple, Cavan Lower, Killygordon.

Mr Temple passed away at St Joseph’s Community Hospital, Stranorlar on Saturday, January 11.

Beloved husband of the late Josie, much loved father of Pauric, (Madge), Barry (Corinne), and Olivia, (Chris) Carlin.

Cherished brother of Hugh, Seamus, Brendan, Kieran, Noel, Eugene, Kathleen, and the late baby brother Michael, dearly loved grandfather to Millie, Oscar, Ruaraidh, Eddie, Kai, Jai, and Nevaeh.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his sons, daughter, brothers, sister, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at his late residence on Monday, January 13 from 12 noon until 10pm. Funeral leaving from his home on Tuesday, January 14 at 10.20am for 11am Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon.

Interment in the adjoining churchyard.

Annie O’Neill, Dublin and Culdaff

The death has occurred of Annie O’Neill (née McLaughlin), Baldoyle, Dublin and formerly of Culdaff.

Ms O’Neill passed away peacefully in Beaumont Hospital on Friday, January 10.

Daughter of the late Cornelius and Kathleen, sister of the late Rosaleen, James, Patrick and Margaret.

Sadly missed by her loving husband and best friend Pierce, children Paul and Karen, adored six grandchildren Sam (his partner Lara), Ben (his partner Lauren), Eleanor, Jack, Orlagh and Caoimhe, sisters Kathleen and Geraldine, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Niamh, brother-in-law Dick, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and a large circle of friends, neighbours and colleagues.

Reposing at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Portmarnock, Thursday from 3pm to 5pm, removal Friday to St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Baldoyle for 10am Funeral Mass, Annie’s funeral will then travel to Donegal.

Annie’s funeral will arrive at Muff border approximately 3pm, to continue to The Mill, Culdaff for repose approximately 4pm until 11pm.

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday in St. Mary’s Church, Bocan for 11am with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Nonnie Gallagher, Derrybeg

The death has occurred of Nonnie Gallagher, Derrybeg, Gaoth Dobhair and formerly Dungloe.

Mr Gallagher passed away at Letterkenny University Hospital on Saturday, January 11.

Predeceased by his daughter Mary Bernadette, grandson Pol, brother Charlie and sisters Susan, Bridget-Anne, Mary and Margaret.

Sadly missed by his wife Sarah, brothers Anthony (Gaoth Dobhair) and Daniel (Dungloe), grandchildren Sarah Diver (Shaun) and Sean Sweeney (Jenna), great-grandchildren Eva, Neasa, Odhrán, Martin, Gem and John and extended family and friends.

His remains will repose at Roarty’s Funeral Home Derrybeg (F92 DN4X) between 4pm and 8pm on Monday and Tuesday, with Rosary at 8pm.

His Funeral Mass will be held in St. Mary’s Church Derrybeg on Wednesday at 11am, interment afterwards in Magheragallon cemetery.

Albert Baskin, Ardara

The death has occurred of Albert Baskin, Cornass, Ardara.

Mr Baskin passed away at St Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar on Sunday. January 12.

He is deeply regretted by his loving wife Anna and his daughter Avril.

He is sadly missed by all his relatives, neighbours and friends.

His remains will repose at his residence today Monday from 12 noon to 9pm. 

Funeral from there on Tuesday afternoon at 1.30pm for 2pm Funeral Service at Church of Ireland Church, Ardara with burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. 

Family time at the family home on Tuesday morning before the funeral please.

Mary Canning, Buncrana

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice of Mary Rosaleen Canning, Old Road, Ballymacarry Lower, Buncrana.

Predeceased by her loving husband Jim.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her loving sons and daughter Peter, Seamus and Anna Clare Allalouf, née Canning, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, extended family and friends.

Remains are reposing at her home.

Removal from there on Tuesday at 10.15am to St. Mary’s Church, Cockhill for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.

Carl Ryan, Buncrana and Dublin

The death occurred on Christmas Day of Carl Ryan, Buncrana and formerly Ballyfermot, Dublin.

Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Teresa and his brother Arthur.

Carl will be very sadly missed by his loving partner Jackie, sons Carl and Dean, daughters Lisa, Shannon, Linda, Sandra, Lynn and Jodie, daughter-in-law Trisha, sons-in-law Mark and Eric, his adored grandchildren, brother Darren, sister Anna, Gina and Sylvia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Carl will repose in Stafford’s Funeral Home, Ballyfermot on Tuesday, January 14 from 2pm to 4pm.

Funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 1pm in Stafford’s Funeral Home followed by a burial at Palmerstown Cemetery.
