The death has taken place in St Joseph’s Hospital, Stranorlar of Vincent Lynch, 19 Marian Park, Buncrana.

Son of the late Patsy and Maise R.I.P.

Dear brother of Tony (Chrystal) and Uncle of Dawn, sadly missed by his extended family and friends.

Remains reposing at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home Buncrana from 7 pm to 9 pm this evening and from 4 pm until 9 pm on Tuesday, December 2.

Funeral from there on Wednesday, December 3 at 10.30 am going to St Mary’s church Cockhill for 11am requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Lexie Spratt, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Lexie Spratt, Garryharry, Letterkenny.

Mr Spratt passed away at his home on Monday, December 1.

Lexie is survived by his sons Melvin, Graham (Alison) and Jason (Katie), daughters Amanda, Yvonne Brogan (Brian), Lorraine Brogan (Ciaran) and Orla Baxter (Raymond), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Lizzie McMenamin (Philadelphia), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Lexie is predeceased by his wife Tillie (2024), brothers Jimmy and Mathew and sisters Martha Saddler, Ruby Russell and Sarah Spratt.

Lexie’s remains are reposing at his late residence.

House private to family and neighbours only please.

Funeral leaving Lexie’s late residence on Wednesday, December 3 at 1.15pm going to Conwal Parish Church, Letterkenny for Service of Thanksgiving at 2pm.

Interment afterwards in Gortlee Cemetery, Letterkenny.

Desmond Gibbons, Roscommon and Bundoran

The death has occurred of Desmond Gibbons, Ballincurry, Kilrooskey, Roscommon and formerly of Stracomer View, Bundoran.

Mr Gibbons passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, November 29.

Beloved son of the late Gerald and Pauline.

He will be very sadly missed by his sisters and brothers – Mary, Josephine, Eileen, Seamus, Gerry, Pauline and Michael, his close friends Aidan, Brendan and Darragh, his god-daughter Codie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many good friends.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Wednesday evening from 4.30 pm until 6.30 pm.

Removal from his home on Thursday morning at 11.40 pm arriving at St Mary’s Church, Ballagh (F42 X432) for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Kilgefin Cemetery.

Michael McLoone (Senior)

The death has occurred of Michael McLoone (Senior), Abbeylane, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal F94 F6D7

Peacefully in the gentle and exceptional care of the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff at the Ballyshannon Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Philip and Kathleen McLoone and his brother Philip.

Survived by his loving wife Imelda, his sons, Michael, David, Philip and daughter Caroline, his daughters in-law Elaine, Aoife and Louise, son in-law Noel.

Adored by his grandchildren Aaron, Kate, Daniel, Nicole, Emily and Conall, brothers Peter (and Liz), Paul (and Marie) and sister Catherine, nieces, nephews and all his extended family and friends.

Reposing at his residence Abbeylane, Ballyshannon, on Monday, December 1 and Tuesday, December 2 from 2pm to 8pm.

Removal on Wednesday, December 3 from his residence at 10.15am to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon, for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am with service of interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery.

A one-way system will take place during the wake.

Entrance by the Abbey lane with exit to the Rossnowlagh Road via the Abbey Mill wheel.

Donations in lieu of so desired in memory of Michael to the Ballyshannon community hospital patients comfort fund c/o Patrick McKenna Funeral Directors, Ballyshannon or any family member.

The McLoone Family would like to thank you for your support and prayers at this sad time.

The house shall be private to family outside of responding times and on the morning of the funeral.

Angela Blaney, Rossnakill, formerly of Ballywhoriskey, Fanad

The death has occurred of Angela Blaney (née Shiels), Rosnakill, Fanad, Co. Donegal.

She passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Sadly missed by her beloved husband John, loving daughters Grace Anne (Brendan), Niamh, sons Neal (Eunice), Christopher (Deborah), Oisin, Patrick (Eriko), Leo, grandchildren Thomas, Ben, Eoghan, Ethan, Aoife, Ciara, Eimear and Riona, brothers and sisters, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at her late residence Rossnakill, Fanad.

Requiem Mass will be held in St Columba’s Church, Massmount at 11am on Tuesday, December 2, followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Patient Comfort Fund Tamney Health Center c/o any family member or Eamonn Scott funeral director.

Family time please from 10pm until 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

Anthony ‘Con’ Gallagher, Frosses

The death has occurred of Anthony ‘Con’ Gallagher, Meenagran, Frosses. He passed away peacefully in London on Tuesday, November 18.

Anthony is predeceased by his wife, Freddie and his siblings, Connie, Kathleen, Marie and Patrick.

Sadly missed by his beloved sons, Anthony (Catherine) and John and is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Catriona, Conal, Ryan, Maeve and Eamonn, his siblings, Theresa, Margaret and Agnes, many nieces and nephews and wide circle of friends in Ireland and the UK.

Mass in the UK at St Anthony’s Church, Edgware, London on Wednesday, December 3 at 6pm.

Anthony’s remains will arrive at The Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Frosses, at 6pm on Friday, December 5 for reception prayers and to repose overnight.

Requiem Mass on Saturday, December 6 at 11am, with interment immediately afterwards in the church graveyard.
